Highly recomended for a budget hostel in edinburgh. I should come and stay from the first day in edinburgh. But because the picture not so appealing, so i choose other hostel one fine day back from my highland tour, i booked this hostel to try out, because the best rate for the day. Surprised by the cleanliness, comfort of this hostel lift for your luagage First day i stay at disable room. Surprise me, a hostel with disable room. Inside each room, there are 3 toilets with shower Each bed with curtain for privacy Windows each room, because i have stay in different room Location justbin the center of old town Tidy Laundry room £3.5 for washing Cooking area Really highly recomendbthis hostel, come and stay here for budget traveller.

Great place to stay ”

Had a really pleasant stay here with my sister when we went to see a gig at the castle. It was great acing the bar to come back to afterwards to have a few drinks. The room was great, very clean and quiet. I will definitely return here for a night out with my other half

OK... But!”

Obliged to change room after first of three nights though I had chosen to avoid this in booking process. Lacking certain facilities that are available at other Safestay hostels - no privacy curtains on individual bunks and no individual bunk lights. Perhaps these are to be provided in due course. However, my stay was during the Edinburgh Fringe which meant it was busy everywhere and they appeared to be coping with the increased numbers rather well. Perhaps it was this increased business which was causing problems with the room entry cards which constantly had to be reset.

I love this place ”

Near city center and train station, u can explore the city by foot easily. Very nice rome, they still have 2 bathrooms inside. Incredible. And the price was so good that time. Lovely staffs!! I definitely will comeback!

Good location, facilities is good, but there is no socket besides every bed in dorm room, I have to charge and use my phone in the bar, where is noisy in the night , there are few seats in the lobby has sockets.

Strategic location and great facilities. The hostel is clean and has good application of COVID-19 precautions. The time is also very flexible as the receptionist opens for 24hr. Definitely worth the price. I highly recommend this hostel if you come to visit Edinburgh!

Ideal location and good value for money ”

We had 4 night stay in this hostel. The room was pleasant with a good sized bathroom. There are plenty of facilities on site such as a lively bar and good washing facilities. The only downside to this stay was the difficulty in parking. However it is do able by alternating between street parking and paid car parks. We will be back!!
