Had 2x transit in KLIA2 in the hotel. Was affordable, super clean, fast check in. Also provide morning call and flight gate info. Unfortunately, as we visited only 1 month after border reopening, airport is still deserted - no breakfast provided in the hotel + only 1 restaurant opens (8.30AM - 7PM). All fast food restos are still closed. Bring some cup noodles or snacks to avoid starving

Fantastic find”
As a solo traveler, and then as a couple, it was easy to find ways to kill time during a stopover, but now we have a baby/toddler, those relaxing days are gone. Sama Sama Express to the rescue. It provided a much needed opportunity to take care of the baby's needs (quiet feed, nappy change, comfortable nap without distractions) mums needs (let the toddler go for a minute while I eat something) and both adults needs (have a shower and a decent coffee) On top of that is the ability to book a room for the 6 hours we needed is just clever. Very happy to recommend this place to one and all - no matter what kind of traveler you are, so long as I can still get a room next time I am at KLIA2.

Details on agoda not specific”
Please ensure that you specify that this hotel Is for only air Asia passengers. I booked the hotel and was told that I have to move to Sama sama in terminal 1 as that is for other airline passengers. My money was a write off as this is a non refundable booking.

Location is key”
The hotel is perfect for transit over night. Clean and nicely sized toilet too. Perfect for everyone. The location is perfect! In the terminal itself. Although food options would greatly increase once KLIA2 opens up after renovations of their food court.

Comfortable and roomy for an overnight layover. Unfortunately hot water was under maintenance but everything else was on point for a good rest.

The property is perfectly located inside the international terminal at KLIA2. Just stroll to your gate and you're your plane. Rooms are comfy, showers are great, wifi is good. Snacks and drinks included around the clock.

For those with long layovers, the location is hard to beat. It is within the KLIA2 terminal (the budget airlines terminal; not to be confused with the KLIA terminal). As long as your bags are checked through to your final destination, you won't need to go through immigration. Rooms are small and windowless, but clean and well-appointed. I particularly enjoyed a shower with strong water pressure and a rain shower-head. Wifi is available for free and was strong enough for streaming. In the morning, we simply left the hotel and walked right to our gate. Please note that you will pay according to how long you stay there. The minimum is 6 hours, and anything beyond 12 hours will incur an extra hourly charge. The only negative was that the hotel did not offer breakfast. As of Sept. 2022, the KLIA2 terminal has only 1 food option, a noodle soup shop. Having a hotel breakfast would have been nice.

Overnight stay for travellers in transit”
Everything went smooth with no hassles. Staff were helpful. We stayed in the 9 hours room for comfortable sleep before our next flight. Breakfast foods were simple and great!

What an amazing place for a long layover”
We have flown so many times thru KL with long layovers, i am getting to old to sit in a airport chair waiting for up to 9 hours, the first thing i do before leaving my house for the airport is to make sure i book this hotel, because i have found waiting till you get to the airport is not a good idea, its almost always fully booked.

A quiet rest ”
We had 11+ hours In KLIA & spent most of it at Sama Sama. We arrived early morning & had some tea, checked emails & relaxed for an hour or so before checking in for 9 hours. The room was quiet, clean & shower was hot. We slept, watched TV & checked out of the room but stayed at the Hotel enjoying a nice dinner & a glass of wine. We then strolled to the gate refreshed for our next 8+ hour flight.

The location is perfect if you have a long layover at KLIA2. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rings were small but decent. The only problem was the drainage in the shower so you couldn't keep the water on without getting ankle deep in water.
