This small, family-operated inn is conveniently located in downtown Chom Tong. There's not much to say about the place other than it's relatively new, clean, and safe. And those concerns are worth something. The towels, however, were of a material I'd never before come across. There's nothing like terrycloth for toweling off after a shower. The towels at this hotel were far from ideal; they were in good condition, but just too thin and non-absorbent. The bed sheet--only the bottom, no top sheet--was thread-bare. I could see the mattress through some of the holes. This is unacceptable, yet I dealt with it. I always wonder about the cleanliness of the comforter that's meant to cover up with. Do they actually clean these bulky things after every guest? I wish that small inns in Thailand would take a notice of how the big hotels do it. Top sheets are so much easier to launder. Why don't they use them?? And a bonus was that the windows had screens; much better than aircon!
