Exceptional”
Everything about the hotel is great. Nice location, spacious, clean and well equipped room. The receptionist/manager, Ms Phuong, went out of her way to help us when we had problems with the transportation arrangement back to Hanoi.

Cosy, comfortable and accommodating”
My husband and I came to Sapa for a belated honeymoon (we live in Viet Nam). The manager, Huong, and his staff at Sapa Elegance did everything to make us feel completely welcome and comfortable, as well as a little bit romantic :). We only booked 1 night in advance as we weren't sure when we would trek etc, but the staff were very flexible and we had no trouble booking extra nights (we stayed 5 in total) - we didn't want to leave! The hotel itself is simple but excellent value for money. The breakfasts were decent - choice of eggs or soup with fruit and bread plus tea or coffee - more than enough to get you going for the day. We asked many questions about different activities to do in the area and were given helpful information but never felt pushed to buy tours or anything from the hotel (we ended up doing most of our things independently). We climbed Fansipan in 1 day (we booked a guide independently) and were pleasantly surprised when on the morning of the climb, at 5am, we were greeted with a picnic breakfast waiting for us at reception. It was little extras like these that made our stay at Sapa Elegance so pleasant and more than we had hoped for. 100% recommend this hotel and hope that one day we will be back again.

relaxing with great views from the balcony”
We had a great night at the Sapa Elegance hotel. Our only regret was that we only booked one night and 2 days for Sapa. This special place really needs a 2 or 3 night minimum. Our first impression of the hotel was a place of quality and detail. From the initial check in and greeting by the friendly staff who honestly seem to enjoy their job and this reflects with the whole vibe of the hotel. The place was spotless and all the furniture was not old looking or feeling, the hotel maintenance seemed completely up to date with no annoying problems present. Hot water pressure was great and very welcome after a long trek!. We really enjoyed the view from the hotel overlooking the town and mountains in the background. It was very quiet during our stay with only local traffic passing by -a welcome break from the chaos one street below :) It was great enjoying a beer on the 3rd level courtyard and watching the word go by.

Nice stay at a great hotel”
We had a great stay at the Sapa Elegance Hotel. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, and always ready to assist with something. The weather was pretty terrible while we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the beauty of Sapa like we hoped to. The rooms are very comfortable though, large, and have great beds. It was a bit drafty in our room, but they were quick with supplying a space heater for us. The only other thing that seemed strange for such nice rooms was that the hot water ran out VERY quickly in the shower. That could be improved. Overall though, it's a great place to stay and we would recommend staying here.

Great Hotel to stay”
We arrived there at Sapa elegance hotel from long hour train at 6am. We are glade that the hotel is expecting us at that hour and best of all our room are ready! The view from our room are amazing!!! Breakfast are as well offered during the first day arrival and best of all no charge! love the "Pho Ga", the best noodle soup i tried so far! Hotel Location is awesome closed to everything! just located 200m from the church and main street! Definitely going to stay here again. Receptionist and hotel staff are friendly and helpful! The only disadvantage is every morning, a local Hmong women will wait the hotel guest and try to make conversation with us (which is fine) but then will follow you all the way and try to sell you their goods at ridiculous price. At first it is fine, but after that we soon got annoyed. But Overall its an ideal place to stay! Perfect!

Fantastic little hotel, best hotel I've had”
I came to Sapa 3 times, this is a best hotel I've ever been. All staff are nice and friendly, especially the staff at front desk (I forgot to ask her name). We came to hotel very early (at 6 AM), there wasn't any available room at this time. She came to take our luggage to a shelve, then give us a map and show is all places to go around Sapa, where to eat, massage,.... She also call for us motorbikes to hire with good price (120.000 VND a day), she acted like a friend !!!. From this hotel, it's very easy to locate good restaurants, bars, massage service. The hotel is nice, it's covered by many flowers. My room is nice too. It's clean, warm, large balcony. I can see the mountains and city square from here. Next time I go to Sapa, I will back here absolutely!

Great location, family hotel”
We stayed for 3 days , 2 nights and had a great time. Very clean and great breakfast. Nice hot showers, comfy bed and a great view of the town. Owner recommends local restaurants to eat where you won't be ripped off. Owner arranged private tours with a driver and tour guide called Fan. Last day we went on a 3hour trek and finished up at Fan's own home for a home made lunch. She demonstrated how to make spring rolls. We cooked up a storm and had a wonderful time. Finished up at a spa. Would recomend Sapa Elegance Hotel and Fan for a Tour trek leader.t

Awesome Service”
we arrived early in the morning as we took the overnight sleeper train from hanoi. as it was fall, the weather was extremely cold. upon reaching the hotel, we were offered hot ginger tea from zum zum, the hotel receptionist; really comforting in such cold weather. the reception also had a litted fireplace which was mildly toasty. first impressions were that the hotel was new, the hotel paint looked new, the furishings did not show any wear and tear. we were fortunate that they had a room available immediately and allowed us to check in immediately. the train ride from hanoi was rough, it was really nice to have a room immmediately for check-in. the room was spacious, and the furnishings looked new. what we were really happy about was that the room had electrically heated mattresses and a radiator- really important in winter when the temperatures can fall to zero. our experience in this hotel was somewhat an adventure which started when we came back from a day trek to a few villages south of sapa. as our clothes were soiled by the muddy terrain, we engaged the hotel to help us with laundry. however, there was a power outage as a result of some fault in the power grid in the town. we were told that this affacted the neighbourhood. thankfully, the hotel had a mobile petrol fuelled generator that allowed the lights and electrical equipment to continue operating until the fault was resolved. as our clothing would not be able to be returned to us before dinner time, the hotel owner invited us to share dinner with his family and staff in the kitchen. never would we imagine that we would be treated like friends/family in a foreign place. dinner was awesome - homemade vietnamese faire comprising of really good quality rice, fried spring rolls, fried fish, soup and sauteed vegetables. we were treated to the homemade whisky and apple cider that the hotel owner had made/blended himself. what was more awesome was that we were made to feel at home with his family and staff!

Nice little hotel in a nice little place”
we stayed at sapa elegance hotel in mid february and we liked our stay very much. having very cold climate, our room has got nice little heater and also an electric blanket. it has hot water all the time and our receptionist (zoom zoom), she s very friendly and was patient with all our questions. i would certainly recommend this hotel to all. the only thing one has to watch out for is that there is no lift, so if you are older, ask for lower level room.

FREEZING, COLD and WET holidays in.SAPA”
Stayed in room 202. With a nice balcony but Not much view, anyway the raining season came with thick fog n mist most of the time. Breakfast with choices of noodles, pancakes, bread, Viet sandwiches., fruits, coffee and frest fruit juices. Months of early MARCH n Sept are preferred months to.visit Sapa with flowers and local fruits season, warmer and lesser rainfall. Come on early Sunday to visit the Bacha market. (2.5-3hrs drive from Sapa). Must try the.new attraction Fansipan cable .and CATCAT village. Gave the terrace mountain trekking a miss in.view if the wet and slippery.ground. Cosy and welcoming hotel staff. Strong recommendation.
