Lovely hotel!”
The hotel is situated on an uphill part of sapa town. I did walked up and down to the town center all the time; a bit of a workout I would say! The first time you get to town center I would recommend getting a taxi if you have a big luggage. Very difficult to clime with those! The room was lovely and looked exactly as in photos. Staff was very helpful and speak good English. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Overall a nice stay!

Amazing Staff and View ”
Pros: view is amazing! great staff and service. We arrived early and Anna Nguyen allowed us to check in several hours early. Staff also helped us navigate Sapa and helped book our car back to the night train. Cons: amazing view means the hotel is high up. Prepare for a steep climb if you walk. Better to take Grab(aka uber/lyft)

The food was great, only hard part was walking up this hill (nothing to do with the amazing hotel it’s just right at the top) but it does make for some excellent views and photo opportunities

Pros: Clean, spacious, amazing view, amazing breakfast, nice service Cons: - Swimming pool facilities are old-fashioned and kind of dangerous as it’s very slippery there - The hotel is on the hill, if you aren’t going by car/motorcycle it’s really tiring going uphill to reach the hotel

3D2N Sapa Highland Stay”
Overall stay is good. Our 1st time in Hanoi & Sapa. Big Deluxe room & well equipped facilities. D1 buffet breakfast was great but did not expect D2 breakfast to be alarte style & limited to 8 items only -can't imagined food restrictions on takers. That waiter who served us couldn't understand or speak English well at all. As a result, long order taking and serving time which took about 25~30 mins. Another waitress was aorund us whom can help but unsure why she didn't. Luckily we head down early that morning (7am) for breakfast as we are heading to Summit in the morning before getting back to Hanoi same day. Dinner serving met expectation. Hotel location wasn't too bad though a little walking is required compared to those in Sapa town. Certainly not recommended to travellers who can't walk long on distance and in slope. Hotels at Sapa town more happenings if you do not mind a bit of noise and on-going road constructions. Will opt hotel in Sapa town instead next time.

Fabulous Sapa Hotel”
We stayed four nights in Sapa and can't praise the Highland Hotel enough. The location, just away from the central square means it's quiet but still close enough to walk to and from the centre. The hotel and rooms are clean and well maintained and there's a great breakfast buffet to get you started in the mornings.

Good for big families”
My group consisting of 4 families with young children stayed at the Sapa Highland Resort and Spa. The family rooms were huge, with separate living space with air-con for 2 single beds. The bathroom was very spacious as well. The hotel is located off from the main streets so for those who want to really enjoy the serenity of Sapa, this would be a good choice.

Rooms feel like luxury on cold cold days!”
The exterior of the Sapa Highland may not be glitzy and jump at you, but the suite was something that I enjoyed very much especially on a cold cold day because there is a hot tub and jacuzzi within. The suite is quite a good size and while it was pitched as having a mountain view, the view wasn't quite what I was hoping for. Regardless, the rooms do feel quite a luxury after a day trotting along the hills of Sapa. Besides that, the rest of the facilities were satisfactory at best. Staff were trying their best, but don't expect 5 star services. Location wise, it is actually quite alright, just a short walk into town along some slippery roads and stairs.

Not so great”
First of all the location is spectacular. We booked a room with mountain view and they gave us a room on the 7th floor (highest floor) but unfortunately the balcony was common and shared among everyone on that floor which wasn’t mentioned anywhere. Also our rain shower wasn’t working. We asked the hotel to arrange us motorbike which they failed to do so but we could find motorbike rental very easily outside the hotel within 100m distance. We had forgotten our Vietnamese hat in the hotel which the staff didn’t inform us. They just noticed what was missing but failed to tell us what we left behind even though they checked the room before we left the hotel.
