Good, if you're OK to walk or have a vehicle”
Was in doubt about the place, as, while a bit cheaper, it's 1.5km from the YaMo/central area (still inside the moat). But actually it's a nice walk (especially by the northern moat, but try the inside streets too, especially after dark) as long as you're heat-tolerant. If lazy to walk, the best is to use Grab/GrabBike (NB: pretty expensive in Korat compared to Chiang Mai or Udon, but I got lots of local promo codes which can easily halve the price), or take the songthaew (search for an English route map online). The rooms are just standard aircon/TV/fridge monthly-rent apartment (maybe 4k++ a month), quite large though and with a separate non-AC area near the window (great for drying the clothes) that also includes the bathroom. Laundry machines are available behind the building, there's a water dispenser at the street side. A fridge with drinks for sale near the reception, convenient to have a beer after sitting at the computer all day.

Good place to stay in the old part of town. Close to a small nightmarket and some restaurants and bars. Room was ok and staff is friendly.

Great value for money”
Spacious, reasonably clean rooms for a fair price. Staff is friendly. The rooms have a safe, a fridge, decent AC and you get two bottles of drinking water. Located in a quiet area, yet not to far from the center. There is a morning market near Chompon Rd (10min walk) and a night market (10min walk) close by. Washing machines for 20 baht are literally around the corner and a few exercise machines are in the small park just across the street.

Nice stop off hotel”
So there's not much to see in Khorat, but I came here to sort some US dollar before heading to Cambodia and to chill before heading to Phimai. The taxi from the bus station will charge you 80thb. The hotel is in a fine location. It's down a side street, quiet, clean. Little English but that's fine with us. The price is decent. It's cheaper on Agoda but the price in the hotel 450 is with basic thai breakfast. Street vendors on the main street. Laundry place etc. At night, if you come out of the hotel and turn left, the left at the corner and follow the road up for three blocks you'll come to the night market. Don't bother going to the bis station to get the bus to Pimai. Go out of the hotel to the main street and cross all the way over the river to the other side. Walk left to the Temple and wait for the 41 bus (50bht) It's a basic city with everything you may need to stock up on. Bangkok bank seems to be the best bet for US dollar (there are a few)

Fantastic...hidden gem of Korat”
Good clean and perfectly located hotel. The staffs are friendly and very kind. The hotel is located where there are many food outlets at the back road of the hotel. Its quite and good. They have food delivered series from restaurants outside if you do not wish to venture out. Just order from the reception. Morning coffee is free flow and complimentary. They have a small convenient shop inside. Its slight out of the way and finding it could be a challenge but stick to the map given. Just becareful of stray dogs if you venture out at night. The rooms have everything you need even a safe box for a hotel of this uncategorised standards. I would give it 2 stars for what they have. The only missing feature was a swimming pool

Ideal stopover hotel”
Only stayed in Korat for one afternoon and evening but found this place to be a great stop-over. Reception staff didnt speak much English....but that didnt bother me. Good base to walk around the city. Spent the evening buying beers from the fridge in reception and relaxing by the banks of the moat that runs across the front of the hotel

Basic hotel near NRRU, strategic location to travel to most local temples”
The main reason I booked this hotel was that I was going to visit a few friends in NRRU as it is nearby and it was the cheapest one listed in the search list. Many of the Korat Nai Mueang attractions are also within walking distance (less than 3km) and could be covered in one day. It is an old hotel, the room is very basic but the room is spacious. The toilet has some black stains but it's clean (not greasy and mouldy I just don't know what stain it is). The hotel provides coffee and little cake rolls for breakfast in the morning. There is also parking space if you come with a vehicle.

This was a great location to stay at. It's near a park (where we befriended many of the locals), night market (we completely missed the huge one a few streets down. we wandered to other markets when we were only a few streets down from the best!), close to BIG C (8min drive) and close to many other attractions. Staff were very kind and helpful. One did not speak English well but pulled out Google translate and did whatever she could for us. everything was clean and the room was very cool and clean. would recommend !

dirty, didn't go in the bathroom without my flip flops. the towels on the floor hadn't been changed in I don't know how long. the bed was OK. the internet good. the best part was the food on the corner and the night market a bit down the street!! I woundnt recommended this city to anyone. goto khon Kean Its much friendlier

Suited my needs! Quiet location, basic room, good WiFi, they have a small selection of snacks etc available to buy at reception, free coffee available throughout the day, covered car/motorbike parking, many local eating places including large open air market 10 mins walk away, no elevator. I would stay here again

Room was dirty, bathroom leaking water, they didn't make up the room or replace the water, dirty linen, no English. Mold everywhere. Far from the centre. Just pointless staying there.
