1) Sawasdee Mansion was kind enough to let me do an early check in and even offered me a room change if I wanted one. 2) Maybe because of the cool monsoon weather and single occupier, the room AC was cold even when set at 27 degrees celsius and the hot shower worked so all good here. 3) Excellent location for me as 7min walk to beach, 1min to 711 and 10min to various yummy road side food stalls. 4) Staff were friendly enough. 5) Facilities were satisfactorily maintained. 6) Maybe need to spruce up the reception area to make it a bit more welcoming.

Will recomend to all people that looking the accomodation at patong . The place is nearby to all attraction places. Their staff so friendly and helpful . Anything u need they can provide to u . Value for money . I came by a group and book for a big suited room . For sure will book this place if i go to phuket again . Keep it up the good work .

Its good BUT...”

The hotel has its own bar which was not noisy but the other bar further up has a live band every night and plays till 2-3am and you can hear it in the rooms. Overall Sawasdee Mansion has a decent location, the manager/owner speaks in English so you have no worries. You can even rent motorbikes from them, do laundry and massage is right next door. Not much facilities but everything is nearby. No lifets so be ready to walk up daily. Stayed for 10 days

Great service, good location”

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. It's a family run hotel located 5 min away from Patong beach. The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom had hot water. The breakfast was included - eggs and toast, and fruits. The owner was super nice and helped us with finding our way around. We didn't like Patong beach very much, but rented a motor bike and visited some beautiful nearby beaches (Liam Sing is super).

Enjoyed our stay here. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only downsides are no elevator, we were on the fifth floor and after a day of travel it feels like 10 lol. And the shower head sucked and sprayed in all directions that coupled with the surging water pressure soaked our bathroom a couple times. Fridge smelled kinda funky but not a problem if you left it closed. can't expect the Hilton at this price.

Close to the beach, Bangla, and tons of restaurants and stores. Rooms where big, clean, and we slept well. We used the hotel as a landing place until we could find accommodations for 5 months, the owner and staff were very helpful and helped us get settled at another location, we feel very fortunate and grateful we chose this hotel.

booked a room for 5 people at this hotel for 5 days from 14/5/17 to 18/5?17. everything was okay for a budget hotel. kinda like u get what you paid for. 2 air conditionings, 1 was perfect and the other 1 was not cool enough. water pressure sometimes was low. the bath tub was only for your view. can't use because there was no pipe/shower. refrigerator was okay. wifi was poor. sometimes you can't even connect to the wifi. the owner are hungerian and he was nice. we also rent 3 scooters from this hotel for 200baht each for 1 full day. the only one thing that we can't even understand happenned was on the 1st day when we decided to walk around outside after checked-in. the hungerian owner asked for our key to be kept with him when he was in charged at the counter. we asked why and he said he afraid that the key will lost when we bring it around. what were you actually doing sir? the incident never happened the next time when different people took charger at the reception counter.

Good price, could improve customer relations”

Good price 3 blocks from the beach. My room was on the 4th floor in the corner and the air conditioning was dripping a lot of water onto the floor and curtains. But I told them that night, and they said it was too late to do anything and the room was at a low price. Kind of like "you get what you pay for". The next morning, there was a massive puddle in the room but I still asked them again to look at it and they did. They said a technician came out and fixed it but when I went to the room the air conditioning would not even turn on. They said that they couldn't call the technician back and so I ended up sleeping in my friend's room (and still paid for mine) because my room was so humid

Worth for the money”

This is a budget hotel. The hotel is worth for what we paid. Good location, clean, good water pressure. But no elevator. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Charlie N USA

Acceptable, worth the money, good location”

The hostel is near the beach, you only need 5 to 10 mins to walk to the beach. It is also near the night market as well. If you don't mind walking and the budget is not too much, this place is suit for you. The tuk tuk price here is too expensive. The room is just fine for a place to sleep. But the owner, the lady, is super nice. She also provide minibus to the airport (chargeable). Anyway, if your budget is limited and all you want is a place to sleep, this hostel is for you.

I came along with group of friends 5 pax. we choose the family room. The room was pretty spacious for 5 pax, the location was good for walking sorrounding beach area. But the minus are the cleanliness on the lobby was pretty bad, and they didnt have elevator, so since our room on the fifth floor, we had to carry our heavily luggage upstairs....and it was bothering, and also the facilities was not well accomodated....

Lovely staff, good location, poor water system”

Stayed for Songkran which was SO much fun! Staff were lovely, playing music, dancing had the best time. However, the water festival meant the hotel understandably ran out of water so we couldn't shower that night.... This was fair enough however the same water issue was still happening 2 days after Songkran..- a bit annoying. Every night we were there water would go off -so couldn't wash your hands, flush the toilet or brush your teeth! Every morning we woke up and there was no hot water- which we paid for through room upgrade - only seemed to work in the afternoon... Wifi - Sometimes connects automatically but mostly a nightmare trying to connect. Would spend over half an hour re-entering the password then give up! Worked well once connected + Aircon worked very well unlike some we have used in Thailand +Good location- 10mins walk to Bangla road or lots of other restaurants and bars to choose from on the way. + Beach 3mins walk away

I’m typically okay with staying at a less than average hotel when I know that I’ll be out and about in the city and spending very minimal time in the room. However, this “hotel” was an exception. I dreaded coming home at the end of the day to this dingy place. The lobby was dark and dirty. The person who checked us in stunk of alcohol. The room did not feel secure. Despite signs of a security box, there is not one. Do not trust the lockers on the first floor. When we checked out, granted that it was very early in the morning, the receptionist was laid out on the couch (which was ripped and taped up) passed out. The correspondence via email was incredibly slow. The room itself was dirty with stained sheets and a molded bathroom. It’s also next door to a bar that played loud music late into the night. The pros are that it truly is a cheap hotel in relation to Phuket prices and the location was good. I would not recommend this to a friend or anyone if they can help it.

Its very near to 7-eleven and Family Mart. For Halal Food, Only 5 minutes walk to Halal restaurants that located near by Mosque.

The only good thing about the hotel is the location, 1 km from the Bangla Night Market and the Patong beach.
