Best Location”
This resort was right on the beach and I was able to enjoy everything. The staff is amazing and treated me very well. The restaurant had great food and drinks too. Only downside is there are beach bars nearby and if they are having a party, you will hear it till 4:30am. Out of the 4 nights I was there, it happened twice. But that wasn't the resort's fault at all. Noise travels far here because how quiet it is.

Very friendly people. De villa was perfect. Large, good AC and also nicely decorated, which I find also quite important. They arranged balloons and ornaments for my child’s 3 birthday, very sweet!

Very nice hotel”
The hotel is located in a very nice point of long Beach, honestly the best part since the south part is quite eroded. The staff is lovely and helped us all the time (we asked them a lot of things) We booked a luxury villa and it was awesome! The only thing is that is was very hard to contact them so we didn't book any activities with them (but they offer them at a good price), as we had already booked them in advance with another agency.

Lovely bungalows and great food”
We stayed here at peak season so it was the most expensive time to book. It was so nice. Lovely stretch of beach. We were in one of the beach view bungalows which wee spacious and comfortable. I knocked a point off because the curtains are a bit thin and there was a light on outside all night, the bathroom is also a bit dated, weird duck tiles. The restaurant was the best on this beach, food was so good. Service was great. It was so pretty, the buildings, the wooden interior and the faith lights in the evening. I would totally recommend, just use the eye mask from your flight.

Staff were great. Few steps to the beach, grounds staff keeping the place tidy. Breakfast was fine. Room was a bit tired and a couple of things didn’t work, Comfy enough bed, the villas looked better nearer the beach to the ones I was in.

Good location but ripped off by exchange rate”
This is an average mid-range option at the end of Long Beach. We liked the location and the grounds were attractive. However, the bungalows were a bit run down and we didn’t think the staff were very friendly. They also ripped us off by charging us in USD when we checked out rather than in local currency as we requested. I didn’t realize this until I checked my bank statement (and was very surprised because we asked them - and they agreed - to charge us in Baht). It left a poor taste in my mouth after what was just a mediocre experience overall.

best of thailand tranquille beach retreats ”
Our stay was the best we could hope for.after couple of years visiting all beaches from phuket,phiphi,samui,phangan,koh tao, sayang resort on ko lantas long beach became our dream come true. Great soft sandy beach,no rocks in water (can swimm without hurting yourself), simple yet very nice wooden bungallows in garden setting right on beah,whats totally necessary for our age (67yrs) are provided sunbeds in shadow,which isvrather a rarity on ko lanta beautifull beaches. Staff is extraordinary helpful and nice,it is for a reason that sayang gets so high ratings from gueats and i can only confirm those. So if you like nature,traquillity,prefer bungalows instead od big hotels and like to have breakfast in garden setting or dinners right on beach while watching sunsets,this is your place. If u borrow scooter,then u are totally free as of exploring other beaches or heading for dinner as there are hundreds of options within 10min drive,should u get bored by 2km long beach And its dozens of dinner/lunch options. We shall return for sure,not only to lanta,but specially to sayang.

A lovely place to stay”
As a family of four, travelling with a 3 year old and a 4 month old, we were delighted with the Sayang Beach Resort. It had almost everything we needed. We had one of the bungalows furthest from the beach as it was all that was available when we booked, but it didn't matter. The bungalow was extremely spacious with more than enough room for all of us, and it was spotlessly clean, including the bathroom which was light and airy with modern fittings. Even though we were pretty much the furthest bungalow from the beach, it was not more than a pleasant 2 minute walk through the gardens. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout or stay. Breakfast was very good in our view - lots of fresh fruit & yogurt, bread/toast & jam, cold meat, Thai style food (noodles/rice), tea/coffee etc - though if you want a western style fry-up don't get your hopes up as they don't do this - it wasn't a problem for us! The restaurant and bar are good and reasonably priced. It's just a short walk along the beach if you want to try others. Any negatives? Not really. There isn't a pool - again, not a problem for us. The sea is beautifully clear and warm - why would you need a pool?!! Other reviews mention that the sun loungers in the shade are all reserved by people's towels early in the morning - this is true and was possibly the only negative thing for us. It's pretty selfish of people to be honest, particularly as during much of the day these people are nowhere to be seen! All in all, this is a really great place to stay, good value, and we can't recommend it more highly!

Great Atmosphere”
My husband and I stayed at Sayang Beach for 23 days this December and I will say when it was time to go, it was hard to leave. This is a family-oriented resort which makes for a comfortable, friendly, relaxing holiday. The location is great! It is off the main road right on Long Beach and therefore private and exclusive. It is a short walk or tuk-tuk ride into Saladan. Most bungalows are interspersed in the gardens, which are gorgeous, and well-tended. The breakfast buffet was one of the hi-lights of our day. The selection was incredible, with both western and Thai food. The presentation was worth photographing, which I did regularly. We were told if there was something we wanted that wasn't in the buffet, they would make it for us. There is also a restaurant on site serving lunch and dinner from an extensive menu that includes Western, Thai and Indian. The prices are very affordable and the food is mouth-watering. We were never disappointed and ate most of our meals there after trying a few other restaurants on the beach. You must try the Pad Thai! Oh, don't forget the gorgeous sunsets. No complaints about the staff as all were accommodating, most helpful and super friendly. We stayed in a superior bungalow, with daily cleaning, fresh linen and towels. The bungalow was very comfortable with a lovely porch to sit on in the evenings. Do not be surprised, the washrooms are Thai style with T.P. in the basket, not down the toilet. What a great place to start the first leg of our four month journey in SEAsia.

A little bit of Heaven in Thailand”
Would I recommend Sayang Beach resort? In a heartbeat!! Lovely little bungalows set on the best bit of Long Beach. Such friendly staff in the restaurant - Ali, Bung and Alif just can't do enough for you. They have made us so welcome and happy. We originally booked for 1 night - I then had a night booked at a 5 * resort... couldn't wait to leave there and get back to Sayang! Litar and the ladies on reception are so kind and helpful. Simple but tasty brekkie. If you're looking for 5* notmovefromthepool holiday this isn't for you, but if you want genuine Thai beach living (but with comfort) with great customer service on this little tropical paradise, this is for you! Stay here - you won't regret it!

Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing”
Absolutely loved our time at Sayang. We stayed in mid April just as the high season winds down and found it to be the perfect balance of not-too-busy yet still lively. The rooms are comfortable and the mosquito nets add an extra layer of protection that was greatly appreciated. The beach is a short walk from all the rooms, but actually the entire property feels like an extension of the beach and it's hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. As well as great access to the end of a wonderful stretch of beach (with rock-free swimming), the resort also offers amazing sunset views by which to enjoy beer and tasty Thai Muslim food. Not sure what this hotel/stretch of beach is like in the peak of high or low season, but we'd definitely come again in April for sure. Love it.

Beautiful resort with great staff”
We spent 3 nights at the Sayang Beach resort and wish we had booked for longer! The beach is just superb and the resort is fantastic!The staff were friendly and engaging and we ended up eating in at their restaurant every night. The location is superb. At the end of a beautiful beach. Contact with the resort was excellent and they happily organised transport for us from the wharf and then on our leave as well. Would thoroughly recommend this resort.
