Friendly service and great hospitality”
I checked in to the Sea Wonder later on in the evening and the staff welcomed me from the taxi, even helping me figure out the extra charge on the fare (airport entrance fee) and get me a bit of a discount. I was very pleased with that, especially considering I couldn’t communicate with the driver. The hospitality and helpfulness of the staff continued throughout my stay. The hotel is a five-minute stroll to the nearest beach. The city center can be reached on foot (approx. 30-40 minutes) or is a short, inexpensive taxi ride. While the hotel restaurant offers food, beer and soft drinks 24 hours, there are plenty of open-air style seafood restaurants/bars within a kilometer if you want fresh seafood or just a bit of a change of pace. If I were someone who expected The Ritz Carlton for the price of Ritz crackers then I could surely find something to complain about. The elevator next to my room was a little noisy and the rooster down the road was my morning alarm but overall, I slept like a baby. I had to pinch myself each time I remembered I was paying about $70 total for five nights for a clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, with breakfast included! Staff and owners at the Sea Wonder do their best to ensure your stay is as enjoyable and interesting as possible. There are a variety of reasonably priced tours available. I went on three during my stay and had a great time thanks to Chau who did a wonderful job as my guide. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone who can appreciate that you get what you pay for – you’ll be hard pressed to get more bang for your buck anywhere. The kindest staff in Da Nang.”
We stayed in The Sea Wonder Hotel for 1 week. We had a fantastic time, largely due to the helpful staff, assisting us in anything they could. The hotel itself is brilliant value for money, our standard double room was really clean, a good size and spacious. You can rent motorbikes, scooters and bicycles from the hotel. The food was always really delicious and the menu was great. The location is perfect, 2 minute walk from the beautiful beach and a short drive to the city centre. Overall we have absolutely no complaints about this lovely little hotel. The staff really made us feel at home, we can't recommend it enough!

Cleaning staff at Sea Wonder LOVES to knock on your door at 9am”
The hotel is great, reception, the check in all smooth. I stayed 3 nights at Sea Wonder Hotel, after my first night, there was persistant, forceful knock on my door at 9am. As I had sent to bed at 6am, this woke me up. First I ignore the knocking, but hotel staff did not give up, every 2 minutes the knocks hot louder and louder, they woke me up. I did not want to get out of bed, after only few hours of sleep. Unfortunately staff kept knocking, and at this point banging on my foor. I could hear people behind my door giggling, girls, and as it turned out cleaning staff, because eventually girls yelled "cleaning room!". I had to get out of bed, since there were several rounds of knocking, and I could hear girls giggling. I opened the door, fully awske, fully feeling awful hangover from night before. 2 cleaning staff girls were laughing at me, as stood at the door. Needless to say, they did it on purpose, girls had great fun, "lets wake up the guest at 9am!". Never again at Sea Wonder

Great hotel in Danang”
After a very bad experience in another hotel we arrived in Sea Wonder Hotel and it was like an oasis in the dessert. They didn't have the double bed room that we booked so they directly upgraded us to a family room with sea view. The room was very nice and spacious and it was cleaned everyday. Breakfast was included and they have 5 menus to choose (European and Asian). Wifi worked well too. Very friendly staff, they recommended us several places where to eat in the city.

Help to fix my bike mirror.”
Overall the my room is big size with good AC and hot water, clean, and quiet. The breakfast is basic such as bread, egg, hot soup, salad and some other Vietnamese dishes good and plenty of foods. The best part, the receptionist guy is coming out to help while I have struggled to fix my mirror bike. Thanks you. I will come back next time to Da Nang.

Cheap And Cheerful”
I extended my initial booking and was happy to do so. Sea Wonder is a good, low budget, friendly hotel where the staff will ensure your stay is happy and comfortable. It is close to the beach but some distance from the city. There are some local restaurants close by but it is essentially in a quiet street. The hotel will organise motorbike rental, or anything for that matter. A half-day city tour is worthwhile and enjoyable. Decent breakfast is included, and other meals are available to order from a menu at any time. The delightful Ms Thuy will take your order, cook your meal, and deliver it to your table... all with a lovely smile. If there is a problem, the staff will attend to it. The manager (owner) lives on the premises and also offers friendly conversation. Most speak very good English. The rooms are big and airy and, most importantly, kept very clean. I think "cheap and cheerful" sums it up.

Tried to scam us, okay rooms, ok location ”
They tried to charge us 240000 (12 dollars) for two bus tickets that cost 15000 each (75 cents) then told us that we wouldn't be picked up from the hotel and had to pay another 100000 for a taxi. We immediately took our money back and went to research the price. He then came to us and offered us a private car for less money than the bus that just shows how much of a scam it was. Be careful of scams in da nang they will charge locals a fraction of the price you pay so don't back down. They were very pushy with tours and always asking us where we were going. Rooms were a good standard and great value for money. Reading other reviews scams are common here so just be careful but the actual hotel was fine

Budget hotel with great length of service”
We checked ourself into the Danang hotel (My Khe beach) after the bustling tourist life in Hoi An to just enjoy the seaside with peacefulness and quietness. Nearby there are plenty of great local food locations with local prices and not the hike up Hoi An prices. Seafood is frequent visited by locals only. The hotel is 15 min walk to the beach, there are enough local cafe joint to sit down like a local to watch the time pass. If you enjoy these kind of lifestyle, Danang is a place for you. A taxi trip to Danang will cost you USD3 per trip and to airport will be USD5 per trip.

sea wonder is a small family run hotel just 5 minutes walk to the beach, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped with AC TV fridge, the lift to upper floors always worked, the staff are well mannered and speak good english, Breakfast was well presented with eggs made to your taste, no problems with this hotel. john and hannah scotland

Sea Wonder offers good value. Although, I booked a single room whose description says with a partial ocean view, there was only a view of the run down buildings across the street. So reception upgraded me to a really nice room for the same price. The area is a bit dead in February though.

Nice modern hotel, our room was quite large, about 5 minutes walk to the beach, quiet area, constructions everywhere but they were silent at night, nice buffet breakfast, there's also a "dish of the day" but you need to ask about that in the kitchen, we found that out on our last day - it was a great soul, do make sure you take it. Towels changed everyday. Cons: the bathroom was big but the drain was on the other side of the bathroom so everything stayed wet for few hours. Dampness in the room, it smelt mouldy all the time. Aircon not strong enough. The staff were helpful but their english wasn't good at all. Overall, good value for that price

Nice hotel near to the sea”
hotel really near to the sea (5 or 10 minutes walking) but very far from downtown. around you only have expensive restaurants (not a lot). if you want to go to the supermarket or to cheaper restaurants, you have to walk (45mn) or to rent a moto (you can rent one at the hotel). hotel clean, you can see the sea but room 604: you hear the elevator everytime someone uses it. people of the hotel were nice. but when we checked they told us we had to pay dongs because when we checked in it was before 2 pm. we refused to pay because they did not tell us before and they let us go.

Disappointed in this hotel”
This hotel has good reviews, but it's actually less then ok. You can get a better one for the same money. + good location, close to the beach + cheap hotel + clean hotel - we arrived at 6 am from Da Lat, got to the hotel and we received rooms immediately. we were quite happy with the staff there untill we found out that they charged us half of day for early check in without even asking us if we want to check in early and pay the money. their excuse was that they boy who was at reception when we arrived did not speak English and that's why he did not tell us from the beginning - from the 7 showers we took while staying there, only o e was with actual hot water. for all others we either had warmish water or cold water only - breakfast was from 7 to 9 and was included in the room rate. we failed to weak up onemorning and got there at 9.10. we were told that we will need to pay for breakfast because we were late. we agreed and then we found out that out of the 10 breakfast options, we could choose only 3 be ause they were out of bread. we ordered 2 beef noodle soups, waited a bit, then were i formed that they only have beef for one soup. - in the first day we ordered pancakes which came with honey. on the second day we were told they don't have honey any ore and they will bring some condensed milk. in the third day (the one when we paid for breakfast) we received the pancakes without honey or condensed milk. nobody told us anything, but i guess they were out of condensed milk as well - at check out, when I told the lady at the reception that I don't think it's fair that they are charging us for early check in since we were not i formed about this from the start, she ended up raising her voice and telling me, using a tone which was not very friendly, that it was in the terms and I have to pay. I understand that maybe the terms are as she said (I will admit that I did not read them) and it would be fair for me to pay, but I think they should have let me k

The Sea Wonder suited our needs as a short stopover for one night. My sisters ate at the restaurant and didn't enjoy the food at all. The rooms are quite noisy, our lamp didn't work and the bottled water in the fridge smelled gross.

a good place to stay for those who want a decent quality hotel for a budget price. not exactly on the beach but 5-10 min away, no problem to walk, good seafood restaurants nearby although complicated to order due to the language barrier. the only negatives were expensive and only average food in the hotel and the staff who were offering extremely overpriced services, if that doesnt bother you much, it's highly recommended.
