Bathroom could use a little work. Dorm room is basic but with AC. Friendly staff. Good location with lots of restaurants and nightlife around. Probably the cheapest bed in JB!

Only first room are dorm for traveller”
I stayed only one night. Noted that only the first dorm room are used as dorm for backpacker. There are only shared bathroom and toilet. And also, the last few rooms are occupied. So there will be lots of people going in and out to the room at night time. I was annoyed by the door opening sound. Also, the staff aware in the hostel but they allowed it to do business. There are reason why it is so cheap.

The bed and bathroom was not clean. ”
The bed and bathroom was not clean. I found hairs and dust on the bed and the bathroom was smelly. Location was not easy to find because the advertisement board was located on top on the building and the names is small to read. Staff was friendly and fast checked in & out.

Super friendly staff”
I stayed there longer than I was originally supposed to and I'm glad I did. I got the chance to meet the owner who is super cool. The staff is super helpful even tough they don't speak english very well, they will go out of their way to make you comfortable and help you out. The only downside I can think of is that it's far from downtown Johor Bahru. Once you get used to the public transport, it's no big deal though. I definitely recommend you stay at Sekai's if you happen to go through JB.

While views may varies from one traveller to another - my stay with Sekai was great - close to Legoland Theme & Water parks, close to Hello Kitty Theme building. Lots of foods outlets & major departmental stores/supermarkets near by. Guesthouse staff are helpful. Try book for the superior room (The one with attached toilet).

Wi-Fiが使えなかった”
国境近辺の栄えている所からタクシーで20分(15リンギット)くらいかかります。なのでアクセス自体は悪い。Wi-Fiが壊れていたので非常に困った。近くにはスーパーが何件かあるので生活面(Wi-Fiは困ったが)は困らないでしょう。目の前には日本料理店がありますし。オーナーらしき人はいろいろと気を遣ってくれたので、助かりました。

とても親切なスタッフ”
マレーシアらしいゆるい感じの(笑)非常に親切なスタッフばかりです。またオーナーの奥さんが日本人だということでオーナーも少し日本語を話せます。すぐ近くにショッピングセンターがありレストランも 周りに沢山あるのでロケーションは良いです。今回は一人だったのでジョホールバルは一泊で移動してしまいましたが、次回は友達と来て国立公園まで足を伸ばしてもいいかなと思いました。 あと、同じ通りにある中華系のベジタリアンレストランはとても美味しくて安いのでおすすめです。

hostel nay ưu điểm cao nhất là nhân viên nhiệt tình, vui vẻ, thân thiện. khuyết điểm lớn nhất là không có wifi, quá xa trung tâm nên khá tốn nhiều thời gian để di chuyển và tham quan. rất tiện lợi cho ai làm việc gần khu vực này, nhưng kg tiện cho du khách giá rẻ, phòng sạch. có máy lạnh nhưng máy kêu rất to nên không thể ngủ được khi máy hoạt động và mền thì rât mỏng nên lạnh
