Great raft for private ”
It is so hard to find the way to be there. A lot of noise from another small boats sailing around. So rocky raft made us could not sleep but they offered the best raft instead if we have a motion sickness.

Bring earplugs if you want to survive”
Great location on the lake, but day and night terrible noice from opposite or neighboring sites and passing boats. Staff does not speak English, with exception of manager who is not always present. One is obligated to swim with safety vest, even experienced swimmers. It is basically a Thai party place, not catering to foreigners.

Basic 1 star”
The idea of a floating shed is novel, however, access and car parking is remote, You may have a heart attack getting up and down the steep stair case, It was manned by none uniform staff at a coffee bar like reception, our floating shed looked ok outside but had only a bed no furniture, no fridge and only a stool and small dresser shelf and mirror. TV had no clear signal and broke up the thai TV and selling channels which was All it had , basic and small, Flooring was patched up with odd bits of wood , no wall cladding, a shed!! No sound proofing from the noisey music pounding across from other floating complexes till 1 in the morning, and again at 5, early morning call, A free barge ride to see the bay as such and a free kayak to use, plus dirty inflatables in the green waters of the lake, were provided, no tea or coffee I the room. Night time we got 4 hrs sleep and wished we were back at home, The lady in charge did her best to please, at breakfast All in all , never again

My son didn't want to leave”
It was a fair drive to get there, but our kids really enjoyed their stay at Siam Silver Lake Resort. The slide and trampoline on the lake were a lot of fun and they especially enjoyed being towed on a raft out into the middle of the lake and jumping into the clear, cool water. There was only one other couple when we were there, so it was a very peaceful stay at a beautiful location. The staff didn't speak a lot of English, so if you don't speak Thai, be prepared to use google translate. There are also quite a lot of stairs from the carpark down to the rooms, which would make it difficult for families with very small children.

Good place, great view but too pricey”
For a lake retreat with a stay on a float home bungalow right on the water, it was good. All staff were nice and friendly. Food: -Thai food dishes were all too sweet. The chef was too heavy handed with the palm sugar. -Breakfast was simple. Buffet style. Eggs run out all the time. But not a long wait for them to refill with fresh fried eggs. -You have to order your dinner in advance as they only have one chef that will have to cook for all the guest parties at the resort. So they ask you to order ahead in the afternoon and specify the time you wish to eat dinner. Float Bungalow: -it can be choppy all day all night long. This is not for everyone. If you are prone to sea sick, don't stay on one. We stayed in a float home before on the River Kwai and didn't feel much of the rift/wave. But this place is actually in the dam which is essentially a giant lake. The wind does pick up and create waves. Also the boats that go by create rift. Amenities: -Kayak and jetski for rentals. Kayak is good. Jetski though, they want 2600 Thai bath per hour. That's a ridiculous price. -Water bouncy toys. fun time. -Bamboo rafting (free of charge) at 4:30PM everyday. They take the whole resort out for about 45 minutes to the middle of the lake. Bring Go Pro camera! Overall, nice view, food is just okay. Good for family for sure as there are plenty of water toys/activities for the kids. Nice staff. The price is too expensive in my opinion. We pay 2600 Thai Bath per night total of 2 nights. With taxes & fees it came to 5900THB for 3 days/2 nights with breakfasts for two people. I think it's a bit high. Given the fact the room didn't have a refrigerator and other amenities. It only has bed, shower, tv and aircon, no desk. no chairs in the room. A fair price for this place would be maximum 2000 per night. So I fairly rate this place 3/5 for everything. A family may have rated this place 4/5 because the kids will really have lots of good time here.

Really on the lake!”
The staff was very kind and helpful, their English is extremely limited but they are resourceful to communicate. The bungalows are very cute, floating next to each other on the lake, with a little terrace to enjoy the lake, even to directly jump in.The rooms all in wood are simple, very clean and very comfy. The only issue with foreigners is that the breakfast is very Thai with rice soup, no tea or coffee (only 3 in1). There were also toasts and eggs. For my elderly parents, they offered to cross the lake by boat rather than walking the steep stairways up to the parking lot: they loved it and were very impressed by such a great service. I would love to go again.

Best place to stay over weekend”
The resort has everything you need. As we arrived on late Sunday, so we are the only guest of the resort. The staff are very nice and helpfule. We had a floating room, well decorates and convenience. A lot of water rides. However, the only reason that made you can’t sleep well was when there was a big wave hit the room, the whole room will swing. Else was good.

Amasing view beautiful resort”
We loved our stay. The resort is beatiful and new, the rooms are on the water and the atmosphere great. We were there in the middle of the week alone, no more guests so it was very peaceful. One difficulty was that the workers have no english so it was hard to be understood especially with food ordering. They were very kind and tried to help so we were ok with this. One other thing to know is that food was twice more expensive than normaly so its an expense to take into concideration. But for us it was worth it. You get kayak for free to explore the area and the water park is so much fun to play all day. There are many stairs down the hill from the road but on the way out they helped us with our things happily! Its a great vacation especially with kids!
