Good hotel by the beach ”
Good location sitting by SIchon beach. There was a construction site during the stay which made it was not so convenience to walk around the hotel. The dust and dirt was all over the places marked down the cleanliness. On the bottom line, good hotel with decent food.

Nice Hotel, yet overpriced ”
We booked Sea Balcony Room with the price of 4xxx Baht per night. The price was a little bit too high so we came with a high expectation. Pros - The members of staff were so nice, friendly and helpful, some of them was not keen to do so. We asked for an extra blanket with one male staff in the afternoon, a couple hours passed, no one brought us. So in the evening we decided to ask the female staff at the reception, this time the she brought us an extra blanket straight away. I was so impressed! Moreover, one staff helped us taking photos while playing paddle board. Appreciated! The room, by the way, was nice and spacious, well - decorated yet not so new. Cons - Since the hotel’s space is originally limited yet the owner fill up the space by building more and more rooms to serve as many guests as possible, it results in lack of privacy in each room. We booked Sea Balcony room type, not knowing that it’s connected room sharing the connected door with other guests. Unfortunately, the other guests came with huge group, with the children also! We heard children scream and other adult guests talking all day. It was like I stayed in the same room with them all the time. No privacy at all! As far as I can see, the other types of the room are packed as well. The balcony we had was situated just above the cafe. Therefore many people walked by and you had no chance to chill out on your sea balcony. Overall, it’s not worth the price.

Good”
All good except that they are under construction and i have to take another room instead of the one i booked. Staff seems nice but not very nice as they asked me to move in one pack a room without a good reason which it doesnt compare equal to the price i've paid.

Overrated & overpriced ”
From the first step we set foot on this resort, we didn’t find any welcoming greeting. No parking for hotel guest. No staff came to help with your luggage at the lobby. We stayed at the beachfront honeymoon room which was nice enough though the plan of the room and functionality were odd. The sea view was nice but the room itself was located on top of the restaurant area so it was like you stay in the middle of the market. There were outside guests who came to the cafe or dined at the restaurant so it was chaotic and very noisy. Avoid this place during the weekend otherwise you will find no tranquil stay ever. If the resort management wants to charge high prices for the rooms, they at least need to improve their service to be up to par to the price. The parking should be arranged for the hotel guests. The staff need to be trained to be more professional. However, the breakfast here was good. There was a wide range of selections. Use your judgment whether to stay at this place.

Nice beach”
The Sichon Cabana is located in a local beach in Nakhon Si Thammarat. The beach is very far from the city, and has only some small hotels. No shops or local market is around there. Without a car, you cannot go anywhere for shopping. However, if your purpose is to relax in a beach, it is the best place. The foods in the restaurant of the Sichon Cabana were very tasty and very cheap. You can enjoy seafood and Thai foods. However, they sometimes served very slowly when they had too many customers. The room was very good, specious and clean. However, I was not able to use the Internet in my room often. I was able to use the Internet in the public area such as a restaurant though it was often slow. But it might be the problem in the local beach, not in the hotel. Their problem is that their staff cannot speak English at all except for the manager. Therefore, it was very difficult for me to explain when I needed some special requests. If their price were cheaper, I would visit them again.

Quiet Self-Contained Resort”
Stayed 25-31 Dec; modern tropical room. The room itself was part of a four-plex, the building furthest from the beach. As the name suggests, it was spacious with contemporary local furnishings. I chose an upper floor room with a nice balcony area. The bathroom facilities were spacious also. Cable TV was local channels only and the wi-fi, spotty. The resort's router had to be restarted at least once a day. The property is deep and narrow so no room faces the ocean. The various guest buildings are located in a single row behind the restaurant/bar next to the beach. Construction on six bungalow style units were completed by New year's Eve. The beach and restaurant are the draws here. During my stay, the water was high and rough and the weather overcast and blustery for the most part. But the pleasant restaurant serves delicious Thai cuisine. The menu is extensive with local and northeast dishes; prices are very reasonable. The chef is talented and dedicated. My room fare included breakfast and the waitress substituted an American menu with a generous platter of fresh fruit, attractively presented (Thai fruit carving). The staff are warm and hardworking. They have limited English skills since most guests are local. But the resort manager is conversant so he can handle any special requests (like arranging an airport transfer). The hotel is located in an area with three or four resorts. Other than that, it's isolated, more than 50 km from Nakhon Si Thamarat airport. Figure in a 45 minute taxi ride if you're catching a flight out of the area. There's a neighboring property owned by the same family and construction is ongoing on a fairly large beach side building. Bicycles are available for exploring. The waterfront area of Sichon town itself is picturesque. For a relaxing beach side location offering seasonal surf, I'd recommend this resort.

Great place to forget the world”
I had a great stay at this property. I stayed fro 5 days and it was very relaxing. The beach is great for swimming as it is very calm, very few people around no the water was clean and warm. The food was very nice and reasonably priced also. Breakfast is standard breaks you get in hotels in thailand but they could have added some fruits to it to make it more compete. The lady at reception had good english si it was easy to ask few questions about transportation, and things to do. I had a day at Nakhon Si Thammarat ( got there on mini van from Sichon ) and visited a water fall near by on rented motorbike. From the airport got a taxi direct to the hotel ( 50 mins and 800 baht for the ride ) . They way back was a bit more complicated as there were no taxis from hotel to airport. A driver from hotel to airport is 1500 baht but I opted to get a motorbike to Sichon ( 10 mins ride for 50 baht ) and a minivan from Sichon to airport for 260 baht. The room was confortable and the bed very nice. No wardrobe but not a real problem if you are not carring lots of stuff. Alien all a very nice place and I would go back if I need a place to chill and enjoy the beach and some peace and quiet.

Very friendly staff!”
We spent 2 very enjoyable, relaxed days there, away from the crowds. The staff speaks very good English and was very friendly. Sichon is an original little Thai town. Only drawback: weekender rooms don't have a nice view. We can only recommend the place and would certainly come back!

Quiet location, good food”
I spent a few quiet days at Sichon Cabana. It was just what I wanted: some alone time at the beach, away from the masses. The resort's restaurant has a varied menu with local and northern Thai dishes.

Not quite on the beach”
Booked the cabanas thinking they were on the beach but most properties in this areas have a small beachfront which extends inland. Sichon vs Khanom, this is a much quieter stretch of beach. Not as touristy as the Khanom further north and you can take nice long walks down the beach. Food options in town are pretty good, use google maps to find some options. Good for some quiet time.
