Amazing time with Signature Halong Cruise”
It was an amazing experience on the Signature Halong Cruise, which is part of the Athena Group. Our cruise is smaller with 15 cabins, meaning less guests on the cruise. Our cruise manager was Megan. She is very friendly, professional, and humorous. She is also very knowledgeable about the destinations we visits. She is our cruise manager who look after almost every aspect of our journey on the cruise. She also does the cooking demonstration, tour guide to the fishing village, as well as Tai chi in the morning. The three of us booked the family suit at the front of the cruise. Our room is spacious with a nice tub, as well as a private balcony with loungers. We had our foot massage on the balcony which was amazing. The air-condition works well and the beds are comfortable. The food on the cruise was very good, gourmet presentation and delicious. A good variety of choices for brunch. The service onboard was exceptional. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

This cruise was very nice but also expensive and drinks were not included with dinner. For the prove we paid, it bothered me that basic drinks like water and juice still had to be paid for separately. Some of the food was delicious, some was just ok. Although all of it was beautifully plated. Staff was super kind! Room was spacious for a being on a boat.

I did the 3day-2night cruise (Bai tu long and Halong bay) and would recommend this over a 1night stay which is rather short. The cruise boat looked new and the rooms were really nice. We booked the senior cabin and had a large balcony (room A8). The jacuzzi in the bathroom was great. We spent New Years on the boat and they arranged dinner for all guests in a cave. I requested for vegetarian food, and the staff prepared some really nice veg food during the entire journey. They had many activities on the boat like kayaking and visiting the surprise cave, which was a lot of fun. Our guide Tan was very friendly and full of life. As per the itinerary, we were supposed to cruise around Bai Tu Long for 2 days, but they changed course and we spent most time at Halong Bay (which is crowded with other cruise boats and isn't as serene). The drinks were a bit overpriced, and often they'd offer drinks to guests without letting them know it was chargeable. I got to know later that Signature cruse provides free paper work for the Vietnamese visa on arrival. However, when I'd got in touch with them over email and asked them urgent questions about the visa process, they offered no such assistance. So do ask them for any help that you need with the visa paperwork. Overall, I'd recommend this cruise for their really nice rooms and the good service.

2D1N Halong Bay Cruise”
My family just returned from Vietnam. Taking the Signature Halong Cruise was a nice relaxing end to our vacation. We booked a family suite for my husband, myself and our two daughters (5 & 8 years). The room was a good size and the private balcony that stretched the width of the front of the ship was delightful! It gave us some extra space for our kids to jump around. The food on the cruise was excellent, each meal! They were willing to make small changes and bring out other condiments for our daughters. Service was excellent! Especially Vinh and Lien! Other travelers on the ship were very nice as well. You get to meet people from all over. Overall we feel the cruise was well worth it!

The stay in halong bay with signature cruise is a stay with no hassle, stress free and very relaxing. From the moment they pick you up untli they drop you back off to your hotel.They will try to accomodate every request of the guests. The food served was great and the staffs were all very friendly. Our cruise manager during our cruise was mr. Ha. He went out of his way to suprise me on my birthday. I was really happy and made that cruise more special. Our tour guide mr tán is very knowledgable and will make sure that you are having a great time. Once again i would like to thank signature cruise for the most memorable cruise and birthday i had.

Luxury cruise with great food & service”
We booked 2 connecting room for 2 days 1 night cruise. We had some issues with our booking but were resolved efficiently between Signature Cruise and Agoda. We were warmly welcomed by the cruise manager Vinh and Linh. We were upgraded to Royal Suite that comes jacuzzi in the bathroom. The room was spacious, clean and attached with private balcony. Lunch was a 4 course meal and we had bbq seafood for dinner. All the seafood were local catch. We also enjoyed the happy hour that offer 1-for-1 drinks. We enjoyed all the activities that were planned by the cruise manager. All the cruise staff, espcially Allie & James, were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our cruise very much and would like to recommend Signature cruise to those who like to visit Bai Tu Long Bay

We had a wonderful time throughout the 2D1N stay on board the Signature Halong Cruise. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Though we encountered a hiccup during the check in but they managed to resolve the issue amicably and thus managed to retain 2 satisfied and happy customers. The cruise itinerary was good. Rooms are big and clean. All bedrooms have jacuzzi bathtubs, although I personally prefer standing shower rooms instead. The family suite was big, and the air con could not cool the room sufficiently, partly because Halong Bay weather is just too hot in June. Signature Cruise is more expensive than the other cruises. But if you are willing to pay slightly more, I would strongly recommend you to book Signature Cruise

Great cruise with poor luck”
We booked this cruise for the second time for our parents who were visiting Vietnam. Facility-wise, this cruise was a great one with clean, spacious room with bathtub, a nice restaurant with good view, and rooftop space for relaxing. Staff were well trained and trying to keep their standard. Generally this cruise is among the good ones in Ha Long for sure. Our major problem for the second time was the other guests on the cruise. There was a big group (guess family) of Chinese on that day with noisy kids. They were screaming and jumping around in the common space like the restaurant. Surprisingly their parents were totally hands-off about their kids. This certainly destroyed the supposed-to-be relaxing and silent experience on a cruise and turned it into disaster kindergarten experience. Although this is not a direct fault of the operating company, but the staff should have been prepared for the situation and asked the noisy, out-of-manner guests to be silent as we were all sharing the same space and had no way out from the cruise. The best way would be to give briefing to all the guest upon check-in to be silent on the cruise. Apart from the above, most of the things were good. If we can suggest a few more little things (but would make a big difference) would be (1) improve meals in a way to provide more seafood as it is a Ha Long Bay cruise -- everyone somehow expects to have seafood there, (2) schedule is a little too tight with too many activities, and (3) check out is too early like 10AM. I guess these three things are somehow common issues in most of the high-end cruises of the same price range though. If this cruise can make difference, it will differentiate this cruise from others for sure!
