I highly recommend this hotel for people who’s comparing which place to stay in Ho Chi Minh. You don’t have to search anymore, this is the hot spot! when I chose this place, what caught my eye was about the design of this place, cleanness, afternoon tea, breakfast and of course, pool was a must for me. And when I arrived, had everything what I was expecting, room was cute, with a window, just perfect for myself to have a little treat day. but the BEST PART was the hospitality of people here. Very caring, and gathered by lovely souls which made my stay in Saigon memorable. Duyen, she made my first Vietnam coffee experience sweet. And Phuc, my Vietnam senpai, he recommended me many places around Saigon, but not only that, he made a special cocktail with passion fruit. Mun was very charming, and so were Yen&Lam. There’s more faces that I remember in my head but don’t know their name.. sorry! But all the people here gave me a lovely smile. Thank you for making me feel home, I will come visit again hopefully very soon. Next time when I come back, I’d love to have my welcome back drinks with you all!!

great staff as same as great hotel”
they are basically kind and always try to help us. my girlfriend was sick after check out the hotel, but staffs tried to help us and concern this problem. So, girlfriend could be relaxed in the hotel. just one thing, when we had breakfast, some staffs tried to clean up our dishes on the table several times. but the dishes were not empty. it might be like eat hurry. I know they didn't have this purpose but it would be better to wait more time. :) anyway it was good memories in the hotel.

Au Lac Charner Hotel exceeded my expectations in every category. The service was impeccable, the breakfast and afternoon tea were superb, our room was exactly as advertised and was clean and comfortable, and the pool was delightful. We originally planned on staying 3 nights but were so comfortable, we extended our stay another 5 nights. I would highly recommend.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location was excellent. Rooms very comfortable. Wish that there were more western options for breakfast but what there was, was delicious. Hotel was busy so had to wait for a table for breakfast. Free high tea was a wonderful touch. Skybar/pool area was excellent and a beautiful view of the city. Would definitely stay here again.

Best hotel ever”
Ah lac hotel has one of the best location in HCM, the hotel is very new and clean and have a very good ambience . They also have bath tub that have jacuzzi function, apart from all these facilities that you will rarely get from other hotel. They have outstanding staff that will also attend to your request the soonest possible . Not to mention they breakfast buffet is totally splendid and numerous choice of food for you to savoured on , not just Vietnamese food but other international food like ham and pepperoni as well . All and all I am sure I will go back to the hotel again the next time I am here

Cute little French styled hotel, good amenities, centrally located”
My husband and I stayed here for 2 days in December 2022 and had the most wonderful time. 1. Though rooms are not that big, but they are very thoughtfully organized and have everything you can ask for 2. The location is excellent, within walking distance to most of the attractions (although HCMC in general isn't a very walkable city we felt, other cities in Vietnam were easier to walk in) 3. The breakfast spread is good. They also have a complimentary high tea in th3 afternoon, and the quality of that spread really surprised us. 4. The rooftop pool is small but has a nice view of the city skyline so you can chill there in the evening with a beer

Still Good Value”
I booked the Bonard Suite which provides in this case a small balcony overlooking the city. The roof top pool has even better views or you can choose to sit at the bar. The room was very clean, fresh and comfortable. The staff were as they always are, helpful and friendly. While the prices have risen considerably the breakfast is included as well as afternoon tea (again on the rooftop), use of the gym and pool. Compared to hotels in District 1 of the same price range the Au Luc Charner has far superior facilities and well worth spending time at.

Great Hotel for Exploring HCM”
First time in country and didn't know what to expect. This hotel made it easy and relaxing. The staff are very attentive and will help with any request. The room was clean and comfortable. Amenities to rival any western hotel costing 5x the price. Would definitely stay again.

Exceptional”
Great location near the river to enjoy fresher air and energetic night walking street full of young locals nearby. Gorgeous lobby and overall decor of building. Free afternoon tea with variety of sweets and snacks for guests are a pleasant surprise. Rooftop pool and bar made us forget we’re in the busiest city in Vietnam. Clean room with comfortable bed. Balcony for our room was nice area to relax with street view from above. Good restaurants around the block. This hotel was more than what I could ask for a home away from home.

Thankful to everyone at the hotel. We had received in upgraded We thank the whole team for the special time we had at the hotel especially Mr Phuc and his great friendliness. We received an upgrade upon our arrival and it was very nice. Breakfast and afternoon tea are very, very good. The room is also very good. The location is superb. Au Lac Charner Hotel really exceeded my expectations. I was aware of its positive reputation, but was still surprised by the quality of its staff and facilities. The hotel has a very bright appearance in its lobby, restaurant, and modern rooms. Its location is super convenient. But its very best attribute is its staff, who are consistently professional, efficient, and kind. I plan to return to the hotel shortly, because it's now my top choice in HCM City.

Perfect hotel, we absolutely enjoyed our stay. So many restaurants close by, staff were so friendly and the perfect location to walk to markets and shops. Very safe area, I (being a female) went for walks every morning at 6am, the streets were busy and not one person bothered me. Will definitely be back.

This is a fabulous boutique hotel in a perfect location in District 1. It is within easy walking distance of the city’s main attractions but is also in a quiet area away from the noisy Ho Chi Minh traffic. The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful, particularly Mr Phuc and Yen who made our stay perfect. We thoroughly recommend this hotel for couples and families

Amazing hotel with great staff & buffet!”
Highly recommend this hotel. The staff are very accomodating and let us leave our luggage here after coming back to Hanoi until our late flight. The AC works well and the rooms and spacious and clean. The best bit was the hotel buffet - great selection of Vietnamese food that was very flavourful. Overall great experience and would stay again.

It has a pleasant classy deco , clean room and great facilities such as pool , gym, sauna and steam bath. It serves decent afternoon tea if you want to take a break from your long explorations. We love Au Lac Charner Hotel in HCMC”
The hotel room included good breakfast and afternoon high tea (2:30pm - 4:30pm) daily. The facilities like Spa, Pool, Gym, Beauty & Wellness Services are all very nice. I love its location being safe (as it is shielded from the prime area that can be over-crowded for my liking) and still within walking distance to many popular locations. Staff are very polite and there is a very cute bellboy ;-)

This is a fabulous boutique hotel in a quiet area of District 1 but within easy walking distance of the sights in the city. The staff are super welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was a junior suite which had a large corner bath, a walk-in rain shower and an electric toilet with a heated seat 😉. I thoroughly recommend this quaint, modern, welcoming hotel
