Great accommodation close to the old town”
The home stay is 15 minutes waking from the old town. The owner provides free bicycles if you want. The place is very clean and beds are comfortable. The owner is very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

Amazing homestay experience”
We spent 3 nights at the Skybird Homestay, and we really recommand this place if you are planning to stay in Hoi An. The owner, Lat, is one of the friendliest person we have met in southeast Asia so far. He is always happy to share his stories with you and learn from your culture. He will make his best to help you if you need anything. His wife is also a very good cook and will prepare delicious breakfasts for you. There are only 2 rooms available for travellers, which really makes you feel home (not like in other "homestays" that look more like guesthouses). Moreover, there are free (good) bikes available, so it is very easy to reach the beach or the old town. The room we had was very big, new, and clean, with a little balcony and a nice view on the garden. The house itself is also very clean and nicely decorated. We really loved our stay at the Skybird Homestay. It is not a hotel, it is not a guesthouse, it is a real homestay where you will have the chance to get in touch with a lovely vietnamese family.

no doubt the homestay received so high comments.the host helped me and my friend a lot.we arrived at Hoi An early morning around 7am, we called and the host come by a moto, but we're two with luggages, he called a taxi and we didn't need to pay.and told us about the beautiful (delicious) food.the noodles and bang mi around the homestay were the best I ate in Vietnam.While sth badly happened and the host helped a lot.and went to the local market with us and I think we get a great deal as local.anyway, come to skybird homestay,u never disappointed.btw: the host plays guitar very well.

Fantastic Homestay”
We had a really great stay at the Skybird Homestay. Mr. Lac does a great job and will do anything he can to help you out with everything. James Bond is their family dog who is really friendly and good for anyone missing animals at home. When you stay at the SkyBird Homestay you are family. We were invited for supper one night which was delicious and got entertained by Mr. Lac playing the guitar afterwards. He also has Pedal bikes there for free to ride around town. Would definitely recommend staying here and will for sure come and stay here again some day!

Best owners ever”
The family who owns the place are some of the most awesome people I've ever met in Vietnam, and that is a high bar because everyone seemed to bend over backwards for your convenience. The best thing about Skybird is that the rooms are huge and you get an actual bed, not a bunk. The place provides bikes for free, and the owner insisted that I take a book from their shelf when I checked out. Very, very quiet and the house is lovely, covered in flowers everywhere up to the roof. They have a cute dog who greets everyone at the door. It's just that it's in between the beach (Cau Lau) and the Old Town, so it's a bit of a walk to go to either. The owner also wrote down a few Vietnamese phrases and had me practice pronouncing them so I don't get ripped off when taking the public bus to Da Nang (don't pay more than 20k VND!). The only issue I had was that the AC wasn't cold enough even at the lowest setting. Probably just needed to be serviced but I would definitely stay again when in Hoi An.

Lovely place”
I booked 2 nights at this homestay. I like almost everything here: flowers in front of the house, the cute dog James Bond and the host who is very nice and friendly guy. He allowed me to rent the bike for free and intended to choose the suitable one for me. However, the house is located in alley that was pretty hard for me to find way to get back :)) And To be honest the room I stayed the bed sheet is pretty old. The host accept cash only so you should prepare some cash. In a nutshell, my experience in Skybird was pretty good. I will remember this homestay whenever I think about Hoi An.

Lovely”
I had to change from another homestay because they were fully booked and I wanted to extend my stay. So I moved to one of the dorms at Skybird. The dorms are very simple but the beds are very comfortable and the shower is hot! Because there are only 4 beds in the dorm, you never have to wait for the shower/toilet. The AC works well and the family running this place is very nice. They provide free bikes and they can arrange a motorbike for 100.000 Dong per day. Mr. Lac plays guitar and sings very well, sometimes he will play traditional Vietnamese songs for you :-) I extend my stay from two to seven nights because I just loved Hoi An!

that was by far the most amazing homestay i have ever been to! Lac and his wife and his best friend are the nicest people ever! They prepare great breakfast, they have the cleanest place, they repaired my shorts twice, they helped me shopping for new sandals, showed me massage technics, they offer free bikes and so on and so on! I recommend this place to everyone i meet on my ongoing travel. it was a blast! thank u so much that i could extend and extend and extend my stay in Hoi An in your homestay until nine days - i just loved it!

Pleasant Stay in quiet area”
Staying at the homestay with Lac family was a great experience. I will return again just because i loved the atmosphere and people staying here. The room was very comfortable and large. Any questions or help needed, mr Lac took care of it. Location between the beach an the Old city of Hoi An is convinient. As usual when I travel I try eating where I see the locals in numbers. Food was good where Vietnamese locals ate. Can not wait to stay here again.

The couple running this homestay are phenomenal. They are so welcoming and are happy to help. They always welcome you with a huge smIle and ask you how your day went. Opon arrival he showed us a map of the area and suggested all the best places to eat. They even have an adorable dog, named 007, which we had a good laugh about together on the first day. They offer bikes to roll around in for free, and the location is fantastic. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a cosy place to stay. The rooms were immaculate. If you are in Hoi Am, stay here!

Our stay with the Lac family made the Vietnam holiday unforgettable”
The Lac family is the most attentive, lovely host family we have ever met. The homestay is close to the beach as well as to the Old Town. It is a breeze to visit these locations by bike provided by the owners. We have learnt how to make authentic Vietnamese spring rolls, shared a delicious meal with the family and had a chance to listen to some amazing songs sang by the host. Bond, the family dog is really friendly and kids can take advantage of Kung fu lessons - shame our son had to miss out on this due to catching the flu:(. Definitely recommend this amazing home stay for others and we ourselves will be back next time we visit Vietnam.

The nicest person in Vietnam”
Everything about our 2 night stay here was perfect. The accommodation was excellent very clean and comfortable, the room was the biggest we have had in our 2 months away. Location is slightly out of town but there are plenty of good food choices near by and bikes are free, so its not really an issue. The best part is the host, from the start could not have been more welcoming or done any more for us. He told us many good places to go and offered to take us there. Always friendly and easily approachable , also booking our transport to Dalat. Couldn't recommend more.

Great place with beautiful plants and clean rooms. The man that owns the place made me feel very welcomed, and informed us of many local things to see. He was great. Everything was very good here. Also the free bike rentals really sealed the deal. Would highly recommend!
