Great location, but quiet.”
This hotel is in the old quarter, close to everything. It is tucked down a side street so avoids all of the noise at night. The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a short walk to another hotel. This was the only thing we didn't like so much. The food was fine, but there were not enough tables and too many people (mainly backpackers). This is just a small thing though and we would denfinitely stay here again. Thank you.

Good deal + Superb location ”
Booked a 6 night stay in Hanoi for our recent travel! Hotel was located in a small alley, relatively short building but traffic on the street doesn’t affect the stay! Had a lovely time throughout my stay in Hanoi! Front desk Bryan was very friendly and spoke very good English. He answered almost all of our questions and gave recommendations for food and drinks and guided us to the area that we want to go! Hotel location was very good as it is near the Hanoi Beer street, about 5 mins walk and also near the lake where there are many food and shops around! Many places were walking distance which saved us a lot on transport! Highly recommend this hotel, will come back and stay again in future when I visit Hanoi!

Great Experience”
We had a great experience staying at the Skyline Hotel in Hanoi. Without even asking, we were given an upgrade to a room on the sixth floor which was very nice and quiet! Because the hotel is located down an alley, it is very quiet yet a quick walk to anything you might want or need. The hotel assisted me with some mail that I needed delivered. They also booked us a ride to Ninh Binh. Special shoutout to Jamwa

Cheap and good”
I booked last minute for a deluxe room. Hot water was plentiful, beds were comfortable, staff were friendly. I wish the room is bigger though as there is barely walking space with 2 single beds in the room.

Its a good place to stay its has free buffet breakfast the food is also good. Its near to the lake 5 mins walk lots of shops sorrounds its 5 mins walk going to bars the owner is very accomadating and nice to us.

Location is superb! Near the lake and located within the Old Quarter. The staff are friendly and accomodating. While the room is basic, it is spacious and clean for it’s price. Will definitely book here again when I return to Hanoi!

Very good budget hotel at a great location”
The location of the hotel is perfect from the point of view of living in the Old quarter. The Hoan Kiem lake is very close. Perfect for an evening walk along the beer street or any of the small lanes for a street side snack. The hotel is located inside one of the lanes so its not very busy and its relatively on a quiet road. The room was decent and clean. If you plan to spend most of the time outside, then I would recommend this room because it did not have windows. Its cozy for sleeping, because of the quietude, especially after a long tiring day. The host was very friendly and polite. He provided us with the necessary information on the popular places to visit and also helped us book a cab on the first day. Overall, our stay here was nice and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place for others who want to live close to the Hoan Kiem lake.

Clean and simple, near beer street, has everything you'd need for a short stay!”
We had a deluxe window room which was pleasant, and could sip tea by the window every morning which was nice! The bedsheets and pillow were a little thin, but comfortable enough, and the bathroom was nice and clean. The hotel is located in a little dark alley but it's well-signed, and location is very conveniently near the beer street and a 5 min walk from Hoan Kiem Lake. Housekeeping comes in every day unless you put up the do not disturb sign, so just be careful leaving things around which could be mistaken for trash and thrown away.

I stayed twice here pre-pandemic. rated it a spinal tap 11/10. However there have been changes. 1: the restaurant is no more. it and the kitchen are empty shells. 2: the nice big window which you see on the agoda site is no more. This was a side window and the next door have built a new property higher than the skyline. So on the other side of this window, a matter of inches away is a solid brick wall. The smaller front window which looks onto the street is still there. 3 the uniformed staff at the reception, and the tour desk have gone. I think the new staff are a married couple who take turns to work a long shift. 4 the petals placed on the bed are gone. The top floor of this hotel gets very hot. The aircon works very well, but its hard to adjust correctly. Its either freezing or very hot. The rear room where I stayed previously gets noisy as its right beside the elevator mechanism which stops below the top floor. However having said that, the skyline is still clean (but showing signs of age). The staff are helpful and very kind. The rooms were clean, the plumbing is impeccable. The sheets were clean and the mattresses comfortable. The location is unbeatable. You can get a superb beef pho in the same street. I ate breakfast there and noticed tour guides bringing tourists in., and people following guide books. Its predominantly locals who still eat there though. So I would stay here again. I wouldn't stay on top floor. There are two rooms on each floor. One with window, the rear one without and its slightly larger with bigger bathroom. Its still great value for money. Orders of magnitude better than a hostel and not much more expensive. I was glad to stay there again, but sad its not the extra special jewel it was.
