Outstanding, memorable experience for children!”
The small farm resort is really well designed and laid out. The country western theme is really great. The rooms are in the same style and are very nice. The interaction with the animals was a real treat for our kids. The staff was very accommodating, even with the language barrier. We even went into a nearby town and bought apples and carrots to feed the horses, cows and goats on our last morning. Sometimes you have to be proactive to increase your interactions with the animals. Being big animal people, we felt there was a little more care and attention (TLC) that could be given towards the animals. But overall, the animals are generally in good health and happy to be around us. Location is perfect as it is just outside the entrance to Doi Inthanon. Highly recommend this sight for families with young kids. We stayed 2 nights, which was plenty.

Nice resort for family fun”
Nice farm style resort, great for family with small children as there is a sheep farm to feed, rides on ponies and horse carriages. Rooms are big and nicely decorated and can sleep 3, with 1 King-size bed and 1 single bed. Price is a bit steep but with every night's stay, visitors get a 150baht voucher for horse carriage ride, a 50baht voucher for pony ride, and a 20baht voucher to buy sheep food (to feed the sheep and cows). Staff are generally very nice EXCEPT we experienced something negative over breakfast arangement on our last night. Since we had to leave by 7:30am we request breakfast at 7am. The maid was there early to set up the table but the cook wasn't even there by 7:30am so we only had a cup of coffee that morning.

Nice place to stay”
Good room decoration, cleanliness, quiet, nice open balcony, free wifi, close to main street. Nice activities around hotel including western cowboy buildings, horse ride, variety of animals such as local and western cows, horses, hens as well as sheep, ostrich, ducks, and wild pig. Have rice and vegetable farm. Small natural water stream run through middle of hotel. Only 1 restaurant: good foods but very few variety.

Perfect getaway”
We were really happy to stay at Small Farm - a really beautiful location, lots of space and air, and our kids very much enjoyed the animals, especially horse rides. Staff kind and very helpful, but only little English spoken. A great place to unwind.

Nice environment, Beautiful room, kids friendly”
we were really impressed when step into Small farm. It was beautiful, clean, back to nature with many farm animals. The room was rustic and clean. My kid loved the bath tub and the double bunk bed and the horse riding. The chief is very friendly and cook great breakfast. Remember to bring mosquito repellent when you go there. One down side is after 7pm the whole resort seems like no one is around even the front lobby staffs except our family. They should have at least 1 or 2 staffs at the reception. Maybe we went at the low period hope more people will get to know this place.

Best Farm stay available”
We were lookingfor total relaxation with some slag with the kids where they are able to walk across the farm to feed, play and ride the ponies. Absolutely, friendly and helpful team even when the adults were not around. Rather irresponsible for us atthis part of parenthood. However, internet are near zero in my room location.

holiday---relaxing place ”
resort should have telephone line and person in charge. what if happened any urgent at night . who to contact? need some one who can speak mandarin or English speaking stuff. Is a good place for relaxing and away from city for a while.

Good for family with kids ”
Good for jogging in early morning, surrounding with all animal farm. The room rate are quite expensive but about farm animal make the rate are reasonable. Very very much enjoy with the small farm feeling :)

Great for nature, animals and relaxation”
We stayed three nights in a big room and the children did not want to leave. they loevd the almost unlimited rides on the horse drawn carrriage and all the animals around. We were there during cool clear weather and loevd the place, all well kept and done in fine taste (well, if you like the cowboy theme). Breakfast was good and the staff were keen to help. A natural setting with not the most luxurious situaiton but well worth it and in excellent rustic style.

Great place for kids ”
Had a great time. Food very average, staff friendly but no English. Animals make it. Room very comfortable, huge bath, rustic and good view over paddy fields. Very pricy for the area but great for the kids. Don't follow Google map, no signage from Chiang Mai side, first turning on left after Technology University, then signed. 1km before pay booths for Doi Inthanon.

Lovely animal”
We stay 1 night. Room was cozy and big. Staff are nice. Tiny horse are cute! All animals are kind. It is good for family travel!

Good for large groups perhaps”
Only good for sunny weather. Went on a rainy day and it was muddy everywhere. Animals could be heard constantly (mehs and moos) but were nowhere to be seen. We were frozen and there was no hot water. Tv wasn't working. But comfy large beds that remind us of three little pigs' wooden hut. Dinner at the restaurant was expensive and there were very limited choices. But cute cats and dogs to keep us company!
