Exceptional”

Smart Resort was a nice place to stay. It was very accommodating. And the staff was very helpful with our needs including arranging local transportation. It was very near the sites we wanted to go to, Phanom Rung and Muang Tam.

Great Stay”

We stayed for one night. Exactly what we needed. Clean Room, Friendly Staff, Near the khmer ruins, not far to find food and a 7/11. Simple breakfast included. Great stay!

Nice stay”

Stay was comfortable, air con and hot water works well. No wifi signal however, from my room which was the last but one on the resort. The outside balcony / terrace was very pleasant, able to sit out and have a meal and drink without too many mosquitoes. However, the place is not easy to find and practically impossible to access without your own transportation.

good (only) option”

not much in Ta Pek but it was a great place to base a visit to Phanom Rung - which is definitely worth a trip. get a taste of small town life, host was nice, no english, price was right, accommodations were simple but just fine

We stayed there for a night. person in charge doesn't speak English, google translator came in handy. It is located in a small town which has a 7-11 and a small night market. Overall a good stay.

Hens and cockerels woke us at 4.30am”

Got coffee and toast for breakfast. When we were leaving seen other guests getting rice porridge. Why were we not offered this? Was it because we were "ferangs"?

i book here because of it close to some temples (prasat phanom rung, prasat mueang tam) good price, very basic, i still like it.

Buona base per la visita a Phanom Rung”

Situato a circa 5 km dal parco storico. Posizione molto tranquilla. Il villaggio dove si trova offre un 7/11, qualche piccolo ristorante e poco più. Bungalow pulito e confortevole. Bagno pulito ed efficiente. Colazione alla thailandese. Il tutto per poco più di 10 euro.

Het is niet echt een resort. Er staan wat huisjes die elk 3 kamers hebben, d.w.z. elk huisje heeft drie onderkomens. Groot genoeg en schoon. Echter: het resort ligt in de "middle of nowhere", verlaten van alle openbaar vervoer en weinig winkels en restaurants. Wel streetfood. De beheerder spark alleen Thais. Was een ontzettend aardige man, hield alles goed bij en schoon, maar ja, een beetje Engels zou wel fijn zijn geweest.
