Stunning hostel. Great aesthetics. We had a private room and bathroom. Room was tight and cozy but clean, just wish they had a sink instead of having to wash our hands and brush our teeth in the shower. To say the staff were friendly is an understatement. They were so helpful from the moment we booked a room. They made us feel right at home. We loved walking around Banyuwangi and we just loved staying here. Would highly recommend.

IMHO, the best thing 'bout this place is their staff. They are very kind and they'd love to help you with anything. Simple Chit chat always on their mind if they meet you. When I stayed there, Mbak Dian was on duty when I leave. Owner should give her a raise btw haha because she was very kind, helpful and friendly

Came here after good reviews and totally worth it! Honestly best service I've ever had in any hotel/hostel. The staff are so kind, helpful and attend and the facilities are 10/10. The hostel helped us book Ijen tour, which was the main reason to come to Banyuwangi. Thank you Snooze, you're the best!

Snooze is absolutely amazing. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and super clean. Also the toilets and showers are spotless. You can use the kitchen, everything you need is provided. The staff is the sweetest, they help you with everything they can, give you the best travel advice and they are open for good conversations. We booked a trip to Mount Ijen with the hostel and it could not be better. We had the time of our life. Ask for 'Haqim' as your guide if you book the tour via Snooze. He is such a lovely, positive-minded and patient guide. Thank you so much Snooze for making us feel like home.

We arrived at Snooze after an all nighter and long trip from Bromo to Banyuwangi. When we walked through the gate we immediately felt relaxed. The girls working there are so sweet and most of all helpful, especially Dian! Giving loads of tips for food, even calling to locals close to the Ijen Crater to check the weather for us,… Even after we checked out and moved to another hotel they helped us book the bus to Bali and kept in contact with us until we got safely on the bus, that’s some next level customer service! We loved the interior, how clean it was and the rooms are more than enough. We chose the room with fan, it was enough for just one night, otherwise we would opt for a room with airco but this was our own choice. If your traveling alone or staying a bit longer Snooze is the place to be. You have a shared space where you can get to know each other and a clean kitchen where you can cook some food. I hope you choose to stay at Snooze if you are in the Banyuwangi area because they just are the best hostel we ever stayed at! 11/10 is a rating we would never give but this place just deserves it.

The customer service team actively responded to any queries before I booked the room. They are willing to offer comprehensive advice on transportation and tours to help you get everything sorted. Room is very clean and facilities are above the expectation given the price level. Good location with great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend for everyone who wants to visit Banyuwangi!

Honestly, would have lived there! Beautiful space, well-decorated, impeccably managed, excellent staff... At age 42, I don't stay in hostels anymore, but this turned out to be an absolute delight. I loved my time in Banyuwangi!

This place is pretty much unthinkable in the world of hostels and SE Asia traveling. The staff is knowledgable, sweet, professional, and proactive, and the rooms are lovely and well-put-together with details thought through to make things comfortable for both individual travelers and the space as a whole. The kitchen in this location is fantastic and makes it feel so easy to settle in there. Loved the large common spaces. I would eagerly come stay in Banyuwangi for a while just to be here. Was a delightful stay and can't say enough about the management and staff! SNOOZE, you are a gem in SE Asia and I won't forget you!!
