Deluxe but Cosy Hotel with French Nostalgic Vibes”
My first and foremost impression lied with the unexpected generosity of the GM of Sofitel: Mr. Mario Mendis. I simply asked for an 1-2 hour early check-in due to the rescheduling of my transportation services, but he warmly offered me a half day early checkin plus half day late checkout. My travel plans didn’t allow me to fully enjoy that lovely offer, but I truly appreciated this hospitable GM of Sofitel. Of course, Sofitel is one of the Top Deluxe Hotels in HCMC, everything was great to me. Just some minor inconvenience with in-room power sockets but the receptionists appreciated my constructive comments and hopefully looked for upcoming renovation. Break fast was great, their French Toast is one of a kind (mus try!).

Beautiful hotel, amazing service”
Rooms are large, clean and well equipped. Pool is fabulous with a great view of the city and plenty of space to swim or relax. Breakfast is sensational and well worth the money, food is amazing and selection is immense. Staff are always very courteous and go out of their way to make you feel welcome

Excellent stay at Sofitel HCM”
I booked one night stay at the Sofitel in HCM and had excellent experiences. When I checked in the staff announced I was the guest of the day and received free drink vouchers and free breakfast. I enjoyed the drinks on the rooftop near the swimming pool and had a very nice talk with Tom one of the staff who had studied in Belgium and could speak some Dutch. The next day I had nice talk with the supervisor Mình Phat at the restaurant. All in all a great stay from the first to to the last minute

This was a perfect place to stay before an Ama Waterways river cruise on the Mekong. good price. Good location to walk or you can also take a taxi. they are really cheap. Book ahead.

The staff are all professional, attentive to all your needs, and very fast with their assistance. They even gave my friend a special Birthday cake and we were able to check-in early and check-out late to enjoy our stay. Great staycation place within the city.

In all our travels, this hotel has the very best breakfast we have ever had! We have been to Europe and thought that Ireland had wonderful spreads but this hotel tops them all! Good location, staff helpful and very clean!

Sofitel can't really go wrong in any countries, so does this one. Classic decoration, nice breakfast, outstanding service, clean and good size room. The only drawback is location as there are nothing much around in walking distance, but quiet for business traveller so I dont complain.

Great hotel in great location. It's a 5-star hotel with all amenities although I found the furniture in the room was not really 5-star. However, no real complaints here. Staff is very friendly. Great breakfast buffet and cafe restaurant. Very good gym (for a hotel gym). Didn't check out the pool. Would definitely come back.

A nice place to stay in the heart of the city”
Everything was great. The staff moved us to the other side of the hotel to avoid the noisy event in the University opposite the hotel, which was a good thing to do for customer services. The 2 things I think they need to improve are the fridge is not cold at all. And the staff should not address customers on the phone by the husband name all the time. Whenever I called the operator, she said "How may I help you Mr. M...?" I'm not Mr. M.... I am Mrs. M... If you don't know who is on the phone, just say "how may I help you?" That is sufficient. You should not play the Mr. /Mrs. game as you will make Mrs. upset if you always assume Mr. is on the phone. By thw way, I made the booking under my name not my husband's name. Thank you.

Nice hotel but customer service needs to improve”
Our room faces a University who was having a noisy event. We asked them to move us to the other side of the hotel facing another side of the city and they do it in a few minutes. This is great. Thank you. I just have a question. I booked the hotel under my name and I stayed with my husband. But whenever I phone the customer service line (number 2 on the phone), they always think the person on the phone was my husband and asked "How may I help you Mr. Moore?" . If you don't know who is on the phone, you should just say "How may I help you?". You should not try to play the guessing game . And why always addressing the husband but not the wife? What is their purpose?
