Home away from Home”
After reading those past reviews, we were sceptical booking a stay there, like would those -ve feedback happen to us also? Well, guess what, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Somerset Medini, thanks to the Management and staff's effort. 1. Apartment has everything needed for an way from home stay, stove, fridge, microwave, washing machine, iron , ironing board, hairdryer, plates, bowls, cups, cutlery etc. 2. Aircon is clean and fresh, Towels are new and fluffy, toilet is generally clean, incuding bathtub. Cleaning service is done daily. 3. Location is superb, 5mins walk across the hotel is Legoland and Medini Mall. BIG supermarket 8.30am to 10pm, buy groceries back to hotel is a breeze. There is also a 7/11 and another store which opens 24hrs next to the hotel. We will return again and highly recommended for a vacation in Johor Msia to our friends and family.

Value for money, comfortable and clean!”
Loved staying here. The rooms are very clean and all equipments in working order. Worth the money. The location was so close to Legoland and very very convenient. Parking was easy as well. The only thing is the breakfast - you dont have to have so much variety but whatever food available should be edible no? The food is a definite let down, tasteless, unedible, not cooked properly. Alll that said, I would definitely stay here again. Why? Because I put high importance to a clean and functioning room. Plus i can find food elsewhere, no biggie.

Convenient for families going to legoland”
Just about 10 min walk from entrance of Legoland - through the Mall of Medini, then cross one road. Convenient for families going to Legoland, such as for a quick snooze mid-day for tired kids to recharge. Has a 7-11 and 24hr Noble Supermart at ground floor for groceries. Swimming pool is a little small so can get crowded during peak periods. We’ve stayed here twice, in the one bedroom apartment. Clean and comfortable. Kitchenette is well-equipped, can cook simple meals (we bought veg & groceries from Ben’s Independent Grocer mainly). Or could eat at/ takeaway from the eateries at Mall of Medini. Left our luggage at the hotel reception both times because we arrived much earlier before check-in.

Great location, clean room and superb service”
Checked in really late at around 9pm but the check in were swift and easy.. Rooms is spacious with a mini kitchen area and a living room... great locations - walking distance less than 5mins now with traffic light in place for crossing directly to legoland.. Highly recommend!!!

I stayed here for 2 nights.. The room is spacious.. My son could spread his lego blocks on the floor without concerning others might step on the blocks.. Since there is a microwave oven in the room, I just bought frozen pizza and dinner's settled.. Very comfortable.. 👍

Our 3rd time here. Always enjoy our stay here. Staff are kind and helpful. Room service is good. Many places yo eat across the road at medini mall, provision shops, convenience stores just around the corner. The day we left, Starbucks coffee was set up at lobby. Didn't get to try. Next time maybe.

Somerset Medini Birthday Stay”
I was in awe with the hotel. They upgraded for free our studio type room to one bedroom because they saw that it was my birthday the next day! They also granted my request of legoland view. Overall I would totally recommend this hotel to friends due to proximity to legoland! And the staff was great too! Only problem was the aircon in our room was a bit warm even if we put it to 16degrees.

It is near to Legoland! ”
If you want to go to Legoland, then stay here. There's no doubt that its location is so strategic and close to Legoland. It is just a 5 mins walk. You just need to cross the road and walk a little bit inside the Mall of Medini (it is a small mall actually) and you will immediately see the Legoland entrance. There's also a 7-11 store and a 24-hour convenient shop located at the block next door. The staff (Malay guy) is so friendly. He was the one who assisted us during our check-out and check-in process. The room is very cozy and clean. It is complete with all electrical appliances; microwave, kettle, iron, hairdryer etc. Later that night after I have checked-in, I texted my sister and recommended to her to stay here. Even the next day, my friend also asked about our stay since she is going to Legoland in another few weeks. Somerset Medini Iskandar Puteri is definitely our choice of stay since we are planning to go back again to Legoland and use our annual passes.

I stayed here for 2 nights 22/12/21 -24/12/21. Checked in smooth, maybe because i arrived after 3pm. I booked studio apt with 1 room. Very spacious (me, 2 kids and my mum senior citizen)The apt clean, got toaster, oven, pot and fry pan and basic kitchen utensil. 2 doors fridge. TV at living room and bedroom. I didnt take extra bed as my eldest just slept at the couch(comfortable). The apt is very near to legoland. (Walking distance) On the 2nd day, staff will come to clear rubbish in the apt. Parking was a bit difficult, even though got basement parking. but still can tolerate and understandable due to many guests. Checked out also smooth and this maybe due to my habit to always check out early before 12pm to avoid crowd. Overall i really recommend this place. I will come again!

1) Location - located at Iskandar Puteri, quiet and calm area compared to JB town. Less than 30 mins to JB and JPO. 2) Hotel - The staff are very kind and polite. I have no time to explore other facilities, but i believe they are good.. 3) Room - I booked studio premier, and I thought it is similar to hotel room. However, the room has exceed my expectation! The room is spacious. The kitchen is complete with utensils, kitchenware and cutleries. Very comfortable and clean.. love it so much..! I will definitely book my stay in Somerset again next time.

Cheaper option for Legoland trip”
This is our 2nd stay at Somerset Medini, first was in 2019 for our trip to Hello Kitth land (now closed), strategic location to Legoland (5-10mins walking distance), stayed a Legoland Hotel prev, and Somerset Medini is much cheaper + great facilities just w/o the lego deco. The room was spacious, our first stay was in one bedroom suite, this time we pick junior suite. If you undecidable between this two, just pick one bedroom if you staying with young children. The space much more spacious. Can cook simple breakfast n dinner in the unit. Pool was great with the view of Legoland. If there is something that i dislike is just the parking system. As a guest u need to pay rm5 per day, and the road to the parking space is so narrow, just be careful!

Comfortable and convenient to get to Legoland”
Went during school hols. Although check in was a bit delayed due to back to back bookings, but can see that the staff are still very patient, polite and trying their best. Only given one set of plate and bowl and power plugs couldn’t work on the 2nd day there. But staff came to fix that quite promptly. Super convenient for visits to legoland. Mall of Medini, local Noble minimart and 7-11 all just steps away. Will be back again!

Apartment was spacious. Breakfast buffet spread was ok. I stayed for 4 nights and by the 3rd morning, food spread was already quite boring for us. But the food is nice. So no complaint. Love the location. Super near to Legoland and Mall of Medini where there are a few dining places. Also near supermarket. Carpark was easy too and convenient.
