1) River view room: actually has no river view at all. Please remove the photo that looks like guests can see the river. In reality, I saw only buildings 2) On the first night after check-in & realizing that reality looks nothing like photo, I called front desk asking. Front desk said 2309 is for sure river view, it is now dark so thats why you cannot see. I emphasized I saw still nothing even when I look closely. He told me to check in morning So morning came & I was even more disappointed because clearly I could not see river like on photo. I came to front desk complaining. The way they handled my complaint was clearly not 5* standard. I graduated from hospitality school in swiss & worked in this field in swiss & dubai too. Maybe it is not fair to compare my experience & standard in europe & dubai with that in Ha Noi. But still, I want to write this review for the hotel to improve their conflict resolution skills & also to remove the term “River View” & the deceiving photo from Agoda. My criteria when choosing hotel is 100% based on river view, if they can be more precise in their advertisement, guests including myself can make better decision & avoid disappointment and hotel can avoid complaint 3) It seems like night front desk & morning front desk are not even aware of the actual view of rooms (from point 2) Morning front desk was confused & asked me to show agoda photo, why they could not check by themselves? And what is the point of that when at the end they still told me the photo was wrong? And no apology at all? Im surprised this property received “Best serviced apartment property of 2021” 4) Water tank of my flat run out. So i called asking for new tank. The lady came with wrong type of tank & asked me to sign receipt of new tank. I asked “But when I arrived, water was already there, i thought water was complimentary?” She said No. Ok fine no problem at all. She went to get the correct tank. Home away from home but not convenient without using a car”
Nice spacious apartment, clean, nice and well equipped. Staff and service are great, swimming pool is a plus but gym is old. Location is relatively good if you are willing to use a car, Lotte and Vincom malls are only about 2km away but nothing within walking distance - no supermarket or good restaurants.

Excellent and brand new serviced apartment”
We booked a room at Somerset West Point as a treat for ourselves before our wedding weekend, and it was an absolute pleasure. Everything was perfect, the staff was always helpful and courteous, and the apartment was in tip top condition. The room also came with access to lots of facilities, which unfortunately we didn't have time to use. There's a Starbucks downstairs, and great local food and coffee is just steps away. The only issue we had, which was completely out of Somerset's control, was the daily struggle to get there from the city center. There are major works going on on the road connecting West Lake (the area it's in) and the center/old quarter, so traffic is a nightmare. Taxis are also banned during rush hours.

Best stay in Hanoi ”
We are a family of 4. We originally booked a connected two bedroom at the Golden Rooster hotel in the old quarter and paid full money for 7 nights, but they canceled our room on arrival for someone else. So we left without a place to stay on 27th of December. Lucky, we Somerset West Point had 2 bedroom apartment available. We stayed for 6 nights and everything was perfect. Super clean room with the lake view. All the staff are very helpful and nice. We will definitely come back! It’s so worth it to pay more to stay here. Never ever again to book a cheaper small hotel that don’t honor our booking.

Nice, clean, functional hotel”
This is a new, nice hotel in Tay Ho, the popular expat suburb of Hanoi. The room is nice, staff is friendly and staying there is comfortable. The area has lots of activity, excellent restaurants and cafés within easy walking distance. However, walking in the neighborhood is sometimes a bit awkward because of the lack or poor condition of sidewalks. The breakfast of the hotel is not especially good but you can make use of the wonderful cafeterias in the neighborhood e.g. Joma, Annam Gourmet, La Salsa, St Honoré etc. Or you can buy some delicious fruit and enjoy a fruity breakfast in your room. To me the only tasteless thing in the hotel was hosting a boring Starbucks cafe downstairs. Vietnam is famous for its excellent coffee and wonderful coffee shops. It is true lack of imagination to lose the opportunity to present some of that local culture to the visitors of the hotel. It would also be more sustainable policy to favor the local enterprises instead of an American megacompany.

One of the Best Somersets in Asia!”
The newest Somerset in Hanoi and it didn’t fail to impress! Furnishings and kitchen were modern and functional. I loved the cosy living room where we gathered each morning for coffee and at the end of the day for drinks. Bed was comfy and bathroom had all the amenities we needed. Staff all excellent, from Reception to Housekeeping. Always happy to help out with calling a cab, making dinner reservations or tidying up the apartment. The location is a little far from the Old Quarter but then, it’s not so touristy. Which we loved. The area has plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores. Right opposite the apartment, and about 10 min walk, is a flower market. Some noise from the traffic but nothing too major. There’s a steakhouse on the ground floor of the apartment and a poolside bistro. And a Starbucks as well! One of the best Somersets I’ve stayed in Asia! 5 stars!

Great alternative to a 5* Hotel; feels more like a home”
This newly build Service Apartment lies in the middle of the foreign area called "Tay Ho". Starbucks next door (literally). With an amazing steakhouse next to that as well. Across the apartment is Circle K and down the street lies an abundance of local food restos, cafes, foreign restaurants, etc. Cant ask for more. The ONLY concern was the bed itself. It made alot of noise when moving around in bed. Could be just my room (2409) but definitely can be improved there. otherwise, everything else was subperb.

This hotel is well located in the Tay Ho area. Easy to get to from the airport and a short taxi ride (20 minutes) to most city locations. Hotel is clean, staff freindly. It is a new hotel. The staff are also very honest, they overcharged me on teh room and then folllowed up with me to give me a rebate. I would not have known if they had not followed up with me.

This apartment hotel located in West Lake district, lots of local and international food options just across from hotel. This area is definitely away from hustle and bustle of Old Quarters. Has certain charm, I can't describe. We really like the area, the hotel is great too.

It's in the west lake area where all of the expats live. Brand new building with great amenities. New modern clean rooms. Currently a lot less expensive than chain hotels, and much nicer. Will stay again

What a treat to have such a clean, modern suite in Hanoi, everything top notch and working, even a washer/dryer which was badly needed after travelling for several weeks. The management and staff helpful and polite. A bit distant from the old town, but taxis are cheap.
