‘Twas a good gamble”
I checked other reviews before booking this, been doubting at first because I also wanted to stay at Bestwestern Premiere with some of my friends there however I didn’t expect what I’ve seen. Yes, correct around the area(outside the property) were not that good since there was a construction going on and at night it’s really dark but the Good thing is your room is indeed a bomb. You get to have a comfy King-sized bed with all the other things that you need in a hotel. It also has a beautiful tub (and it is a big one). You get to have two sinks (perfect for couple) and it is spacious. I am recommending this to people out there who wanted to tour around Phu Quoc because at the end of your tour the cool nice comfortable room will welcome you to your sleep. Sometimes you just don’t want to move out from your bed. Kudos to Mr Ricky for taking care of us. I think he is the manager, he message us even if he is off-duty to let him know if we need anything. You deserve a raise.

Great for quiet, relaxing vacation on the beach!”
We were a couple staying in the deluxe room, which are in the row of two-story studios next to the reception area. The room itself was clean and refreshing, with a balcony, a bathtub, and all the normally expected amenities. The morning breakfast buffet was great, overlooking the sea and main pool. They rented a motorbike at around USD8 per day, which is realistically a must if you want to get around the island on your own without pick-up services. Overall, as of Winter 2020, this was a relaxing hub located away from everything--even restaurants--so just do what you need to do in the various towns before returning back to your room.

The hotel is 7min walk from the food market, beach is quite, hotel is brand new It's good for ppl that prefer their relaxing vacation. Exactly in the middle of the island so can equally go to starfish breach and the cable car, City is 10 min drive. The manager and Ms suan were very much helpful and attending

Lovely stay at new build resort”
After a week travelling in North/Mid Vietnam, we wanted to relax at a sunny beach in a nice beach resort. Luckely for us, Sonaga just opened their doors and had a nice offer on Agoda. We booked the villa with private swimmingpool and it was AWESOME. Although very new (which you could smell sometimes) everthing you need for a relaxing "zen" holiday is available. There is a big bed(room) with a shower and Hottub. Private Pool is very Nice when you return from the beach and just want to cool down for a bit, without much people around. Breakfast was fine, staff was very friendly en helpfull. The location is naar the airport but there is a lot under construction in this area, so I recommend you to rent a motorbike (15-20 mins driving to the city center, for good restaurants etc). Ricky, the receptionist, did a wonderful job, always helping us in every way he can. Thanks for having us!

We enjoyed our stay from the first night we got there. The room was lovely and clean. It was very quiet at the resort and because of that they didn't have the same favilities open as usual, breakfast was average only due to the fact that there is no travellers right now. Otherwise we had no complaints and they really tried their best to accommodate us.

Wait 8 months till hotel is finished.. It will be very nice when completed!”
This is not a New Hotel as listed on AGODA, but a large resort complex on the beach that only opened a view of their villas while 80 % is not completed. The towers won’t get finished for another 8 to 12 months is my guess. The price for the WOW suite with private pool was very low, now we know why. Construction started at 7am. Also the suites have a living room , dining room and separate bedroom, however they are not connected, you have to leave, cross the common hallway and unlock your bedroom. Another issue the master bedroom had 2 twin beds???? The kitchen on line shows dishes on the table and water and wine glasses, nothing was there other than 4 very small bowls, one knife, couple of forks and spoons. The finishing work was very sloppy, paint spots, the draws in the bathroom was still filled with construction dust, water features and out door showers not finished, out door lights not finished, I removed the plastic wrapping from the pool steps, no towels by the pool

CONSTRUCTION SITE”
Apart from the pool, the lobby & (to be fair) a nice pool & friendly staff the hotel is a construction site. I suggest anyone reading this comes back in a year. Do not expect any bars/restaurants locally, you need to drive at least 10 mins to get to the nearby sailing club (which was closed at the time due to the virus). I stayed one night then checked out early (moved somewhere else) & lost payment for second night as did not want to have this hotel spoiling my memory of Phu Quoc.

Hotel about 5 mins by car from the airport , water front with private beach and very quiet . It is good for relax ,enjoy the sun and water with your love . The room quite large ,clean and modern bathroom . I like it but also hate it because I do not know where to keep clean my clothes when I take shower . It has an extra toilet suite but no sink around to wash hand so I used main bathroom . It have the small fridge ,the kettle but no power point to plug in so I go to main bathroom . The hotel have 2 swimming pools , nice garden and big restaurant but short staffs so many villa close to beach no maintenance good enough in order to rent and lunch or dinner have no good chef to cook any nice meal for me . I order fresh fish for 3 but they said the order too small so that the hotel can not buy fresh fish , I agreed to eat frozen fish then I have the worst fried Spanish Mackerel for first night dinner at the hotel. Since ,my family eat at Jô restaurant instead of . I had a bad issue with front desk staff during check in because I booked 4 nights with ocean view then I have a small part of the water view but also a stinky of the second toilet for first night of the room 2618 then change for lower grade room 2518 . I do not want to come back here again because I am still upset that I save a bit of money but I get annoyed with front desk lack of professional to deal with long stay customers . Next door have Muong Thanh hotel and the high review Premier Village hotel , I went there to check up facility ,restaurant and the long and nice swimming pool . It is right at the end of the night market ,everything better value .

Room is ok. The beach is really really nice. They need more shades though. There is no umbrella or tent on the beach, just very few coconut trees. Location is very good. It's within walking distance to the night market and the sonasea area where we had really good dinners. We really enjoyed our stay.

Got this hotel in a steal deal price. Had an amazing stay in the resort. Beautifully constructed and amazing interior. Althought its located quiet far from everything but it will not be a problem if you rent motorbike.

We were blown away by this resort. We spent most of our time in one of the two pools. Staff were.all very friendly and helpful. Hired a scooter which made it easy to get into town. Laundry was easy to get done.
