"I was very pleased with my stay at Menara Peninsula Hotel in Slipi, Jakarta. The room and facilities were excellent - clean, well equipped and very reasonably priced. While at the hotel, I lost an envelope containing a substantial amount of money, and to my surprise and delight, the money was handed in intact by hotle worker Mr Budi Satrio. I congratulate him for his diligence and honesty - I am very grateful - and I also commend "Cindy" in reception for her friendly efficient courtesy. I was most impressed, and I will definitely stay again when next I'm in Jakarta. Thankyou!!"

"This is my 2nd stay in Santika Hotel Slipi since I love the spacious room and the beautiful swimming pool. And this time I stayed here to celebrate my birthday with my husband and kiddos. I was so surprised that the hotel staffs gave me a surprise cake when I had my breakfast while in any other hotel usually only put the birthday cake and greetings at the room. That was so lovely! "Returned to the hotel after my trip to Bandung, booked the Excutive Room, but the room was only abit bigger (and hence smaller bathroom) than the Deluxe Room I stayed before I went to Bandung. Should have just booked the Deluxe Room and paid a little less. However, since we only use the room to rest after spending the whole day out, our stay was okay. Still a mere 15k taxi ride to Taman Anggrek Mall, 25k ride to Plaza Indonesia, location-wise, SLIPI is a good area to stay in."

"Not much to say. It is an old hotel. It looks like a hospital for me. The room is pretty big. CCTV seems to be everywhere. The breakfast is a bit disappointing. Overall its a good place to stay."

"Quick details: Pros: family friendly, nice location close to malls, excellent & friendly service, clean, hot water BATHTUB, good breakfast, nice pool (a bit shallow for me, but great for children), working AC. Cons: old carpet bothered my allergies (needs to be replaced), TV not so clear. Summary: my whole family greatly enjoyed our stay at Mega Anggrek Hotel. We will surely be staying at this hotel again. I also like the old style of the hotel (only the carpet needs to be replaced, in my opinion). More: My wife and I have 6 small children (ages 9, 8, 6, 5, 3, 1)---they are very well behaved. My wife and I called many hotels in Jakarta about booking their "family room" and were told they would not allow us to stay because we were more than 4 persons---they would not even consider accommodating us. Mega Anggrek Hotel kindly accepted us under the condition we were as well behaved as I promised them (no extra charge). They went above and beyond. We had a very, very enjoyable time."
