I loved my stay. Gorgeous room, they upgraded me for free so I had a bathtub which was heaven after the rain. Breakfast was excellent. Bed super comfy. The staff were lovely and helpful. It is inside the first wall and across the street from the Imperial City. Couldn't be better.

Exceptional”
We originally booked a premium room (501 I think) and had to change the room as it had no daylight and the large window looked onto the main corridor of the hotel. We had also been promised a balcony or terrace which this didn't have. It was a large beautiful room but the lack of natural light and noise from people walking up and down would have driven us crazy. We asked to be moved to a different room and this was done. Though smaller, the room was nicely decorated, the beds were comfy and everything was spotless. It also had a veranda looking onto the garden, cafe and restaurant area. Breakfast had a good selection and the location suited us being close to the Imperial City.

Very Comfortable Stay”
We had a nice stay here. Very quiet and quaint location and a beautiful property, relative to staying in downtown Hue. We preferred staying over here. Awesome pool, strong wifi, comfy bed and warm showers. The staff were all very nice and pleasant and helpful. Many spoke some English, but sometimes it felt like we were told "yes" when the answer should have been "no" or more nuanced. Communication was difficult sometimes, so we always had to make sure we knew exactly what was going on. This is normal of course and isn't any reason to pass on a great stay here. One other feedback is that the cocktails could be improved. We had inconsistent drinks across our stay, sometimes strong or weak, with or without key ingredients. These are small things and Spatel d'Annan is doing a fantastic job. Overall the stay was amazing as were the spa facilities and massages. Top notch!

An excellent hotel choice right next to the imperial citadel. Beautifully designed hotel. Great swimming pool and the most attentive staff that makes you feel most welcomed. We ate most meals at the hotel since the food is very good and great ambience. Highly recommend hotel to stay while in Hue.

We had a lovely stay at Spatel d’Annam and would recommend it to anyone traveling through Hue. Nam (the manager) and her team really looked after us and were so accommodating. Their hospitality is what makes Vietnam so special and we can’t thank them enough for going above and beyond throughout our stay. As well, the on-site spa is definitely worth the extra money that you pay compared to somewhere cheaper. 5 out of 5! :)

Perfect for the Imperial City”
Loved the warm and friendly staff, especially at the reception. Excellent coffee in the tea house. Our TV did not work or maybe we just did not know how to use it. Hotel is right on the perimeter of the Imperial City so perfectly located. Highly recommend.

Excellent service and rooms. Upon mentioning that we are vegetarians, they went over and beyond to prepare scrumptious vegetarian dishes for us during breakfast in addition to the lavish breakfast spread. Their spa services were also exceptional while being very economical.

The location of this hotel is very convenient for Imperial Citadel visit, just in a few steps walking distance. The price of the hotel is very affordable, and the interiors have Hue-vibe which we really love. We left the hotel very early in the morning for our flight, the staff prepared our breakfast and packed in boxes for us to bring away. Finally, the food is really nice. I definitely will recommend this hotel to my friends.
