Good to enjoy quiet stay in 4 star hotel ”

After stay 1 night, my personal experience is better take 1 day trip from Hanoi-Halong-Hanoi. To me so much enjoy to stay at Hanoi rather than Halong Area which is so boring. Moreover the hotel rate in Hanoi is cheaper. From Hanoi it take about 3-1/2 hours to reach Halong, take boat for 4 hours (suggest to take the cheap boat, because not much different in term of the food and boat but can save 10 dollar)and then back to Hanoi. Journey start from 8am to 9pm.

Nice hotel, great price”

To be honest, the hotel was better than we expected for the price we were paying. Room was clean and spacious with a nice firm double bed. Breakfast buffet spread was also good. Forget about the in-house spa though. Some local seafood restaurants about a slow 10-15 minute walk away from the hotel. It's also near an upcoming theme park complete with roller coaster rides.

People are really nice”

The managers helped us to translate and came to the police station with us to make a report on our stolen belongings. That was nice. the travel agent was super nice and he took us to dinner at a local restaurant and the food was amazing. He also booked us was great. However the walls in our room were moldy and there is no wall decoration whatsoever. It's a 4-star hotel but don't consider it as a 4-star hotel in the US or any other developed countries.

quiet location and far from town”

hotel is clean, breakfast have variety choice and staff is very polite and helpful. However the hotel location is far from town although walking distance have some restaurant. To me I prefer to stay at town for convenience shopping.

Receptionist/Concierge was very professional ”

(1) This is a good as a business hotel with a great spread served at breakfast. (2) The furniture in the room and corridor lighting are abit old and gives the place abit of a slightly spooky feel. (3) The hotel recptionist was attentive, polite, efficient and well trained.

Hotel where Chinese tour groups go. Lots of noise in the corridor ”

Staff was helpful but didn’t speak English. On our floor we had a Chinese tour group flocking in the corridor and making lots of noise. The strip in front of the hotel was powding beats until 12.30.

Star City Hotel Halong Bay”

Staff at front desk had very poor English and there was confusion when we checked in. Staff issued us with the wrong room keys and we went into the wrong room. Floor staff sorted it out. Rooms were large with nice views, bathrooms clean and large. Bed was a bit too hard. Restaurant was very good and restaurant staff were lovely.

Acceptable”

I booked the hotel for 3 nights 13-16/2019 I checked in around 3:00pm and checked out 6:00pm Reason: Quality of the hotel very old Constriction on 9th floor except mu room Location is very poor can not walk out side when is dark bad area. I did not call Agoda to inform and ask for refund because don't want to waste my time to call Agoda and leaving message: Agoda can call the hotel and confirmed my check out. If possible Agoda can offer me a voucher discount for my next booking. Thank you

Old hotel, unfriendly staffs, lousy services”

Worst breakfast, breakfast from 5:30am to 9:00am but 7:30am everything already empty, those left look so horrible! Staffs are not friendly, the doorman is lazy, he doesn’t care give use an umbrella when it was heavy rain! Stay here only one night and never come back again! The bath room is extremely old and need upgrade!

Thái độ nhân viên quá kém, phòng được nhưng đắt, phụ thu nhiều. Ko ghé lại. Ưu điểm : Bãi đỗ xe rộng.

Phòng sạch đẹp - Đồ ăn sáng ít ”

Phòng ở khách sạn sạch sẽ và đẹp, tuy nhiên bữa sáng Buffet hơi í đồ ăn, ít đồ ăn tươi, Đồ uống okie. Hi vọng lần sau quay lại KS sẽ khắc phục được đồ ăn tốt hơn

Khách sạn cần cải thiện thêm công tác bảo dưỡng”

Gia đình tôi cùng 2 gia đình nữa đi nghỉ, về cơ bản, phòng ốc khá rộng rãi, không khí đang lúc xung quanh xây dựng nên khá bụi, trong phòng thì độ ẩm cao và có mùi mốc. Hy vọng ks đầu tư bảo dưỡng. Lần sau đây vẫn là địa điểm tôi cân nhắc lựa chọn

Khách sạn to nhưng vệ sinh kém, thảm có mùi hôi. Đường vào khách sạn rất tối, ban đêm không dám đi ra ngoài.
