Not Quite as Promoted”
I needed to stay in Aran for a few days somewhere that I could work from the room on internet. I also wanted a restaurant which Station 1 has. However, it is shut down apart from breakfast hours. The room had a window and when we awoke in the morning the outside was almost pitch black and figured we had awoken too early. So we took some more shut-eye. However, as time went on, there was no sign of sunshine. We see our window is looking into rooms across the hall! And when we opened the window and leaned out, we could see sun at the end of the building. Not a pleasant pace to be all day in the dark so I asked if we could have a room with a window that let in light only to be informed that every room with a 'view' were twin beds only. The toilet - so low down I almost did my back in each time and so tiny. So, no restaurant/bar, no light in the room and tiny toilet. Staff were friendly despite no english speaking (as it says on Agoda). Overall I would say ok for price (for 1 night).

The hotel is located in the very good location but it is considered an old one, broken air condition during the night, bathroom not so clean and there are ants in Dining room. Overall it is too expensive for its quality.

I felt like the only guest... lights turn on and off at night, the phone starts making noise without reason... I changed hotel after a night even booked and paid 2 nights... spooky place.

No restaurant Couldn't even get a cup of coffee stayed here many times over 15 years when it was the Mermaid and it was good. Never again.. What the he'll the garage museum the whole length of the frontage of the hotel is for is anyone's guess. Total waste of my money and time staying here

Shocking place”
Best to cross the border and find a hotel in Cambodia, this was the best in the area and was very unpleasant. We had dinner at 711 instead of their "restaurant" and we skipped the complimentary breakfast. Room was terrible and staff couldn't be bothered. Cheap but still not worth going here.

L'hotel est soi est pas trop mal, mais les chambres, ne sont pas sans fenetre mais c'est tout comme, elles donnent sur un couloir assez sombre, donc impossible d'etre réveillé par la lumière. L'hotel est placé loin de tout, il n'y a rien autour et le restau de l'hôtel etait fermé. Je le trouve un peu cher, mais cela doit etre du a la proximite de la frontiere et de ses casinos. Sinon les chambres sont belles et l'accueil sympa

Quelques critiques : pas de chaîne de télévision francophone, pas de bouilloire, pas d'éclairage naturel. Mais chambre propre et hôtel situé à proximité immédiate de la gare routière. Petit déjeuner d'une très grande médiocrité.
