My two daughters and I visited Edinburgh from 28, March 2016- 1, April 2016. The staff was friendly, professional and offered very helpful tips on restaurants and things to do in the city. Our apartment was upgraded from a 2 BR to a 4 BR/ 3 Bath unit. It was huge, well furnished and maintained and very clean. Plus we had a wonderful view of the Royal Mile from our living room and kitchen windows. Excellent location! We did not want to leave! Next trip we will definitely stay at Edinburgh Stay City Apartments again. DI

Edinburgh is like a second home to me as I stayed there for over a year when I was a post graduate student. I visit it frequently and my stay at stay Edinburgh city apartments was wonderful. nice clean rooms. with a peaceful and quite view. located in the heart of Edinburgh at royal mile. I was there for business and very nice restaurants were near by where I held my meetings. Overall I was happy to choose this accommodation and will book it again.

A wonderful and comfortable stay”
Firstly, check-in was a breeze. We arrived Edinburgh early and hotel got our room ready for early check-in. Though the apartment was on the 4th floor with no lifts, the service staff helped to carry our luggages up. The bedroom is comfortable. The living room and well-stocked kitchen were also of good size, we even had a chance to bake an apple pie! The only drawbacks are that the toilet is rather smalll and the wifi alittle slow. Other than that, location is superb!! Right in between the Edinburgh castle and St Giles Cathedral. Close to all the night and day tour pick ups as well. Pubs/restaurants nearby also serve pretty good food, really love the Albanach down the road. Overall, a wonderful stay and would definitely choose Stay Edunburgh City Apartments if I visit Edinburgh again.

Perfect location in Royal Mile”
It was a bit hard to find the check-in office (it might take a few minutes from check-in office to the apartment), but the staff was super friendly and helped to carry my bag to the apartment. The apartment is located in the heart of Royal Mile and very close to the Edinburgh Castle (and many other attractive places). Bathroom was a bit small and it was not easy to take a shower although I am a tiny girl, but overall, the room was clean and cozy to stay in. I luv this place and want to come back again! Thanks!

Comfortable, central and private and good value”
The apartments were ideal for central Edinburgh located on North Bridge only 30 metres for the High Street (Royal Mile) it has excellent access to al the major sites and is comfortably furnished with amongst other things a washer dryer. The accommodation was basically a small fr lat with a double bedroom, lounge and kitchen with all the necessary facilities. I will certainly look to stay there again the next time I stay over in Edinburgh

Very good apartment”
It is located in the main street of the old town of Edinburgh. The building that an apartment located is old but there is a lift to take you to your floor. Conversely, after you unlock your apartment door, a room is very clean, very nice and very beautiful. There is a kitchen and living room in your apartment. Every facilities are working. This apartment is very close to many attractions, for example, you can walk about 5 to 10 minutes to Edinburgh Castle. Moreover, there are many restaurants and fast foods around the apartment.

Great Stay for a short break in city centre ”
We were a little worried initially as access is through a souvenir shop as it looked strange, we need not have been concerned. Follow the instructions and the staff were great in showing us to the apartment. It was a large apartment for 2 of us facing the pedestrian prescient on the second floor. There was no noise/disturbance although you could hear the morning loading from the kitchen at 0800 onwards. There was absolutely no sound in the bedroom as it faces away from the old road. Location wise it could not have been better we walked to the castle just 5 minutes, the Royal Mile and Princess street all very easy. We ate locally with the Deacon Brodie pub being our favourite good food reasonable price and good atmosphere, just 2 minute walk from the apartment. I would not go back to "The Inn on the Mile" it was poor and expensive for what it was.

Great location and great apartment!”
Stay Edinburgh City Apartments was really great - we loved the location, we loved the spacious living area (2 private bedrooms, 1 huge living room, a reasonably-sized kitchen, 1 bathroom, and 1 toilet), and we generally loved everything about it! The only fault we found with it was the water heater that kept tripping on the last day - someone had to kind of stand guard at the circuit box to reset the heater when one of us was showering, otherwise there will be no water at all!

Great stay in Edinburgh ”
Staff member Harvey, who is a credit to the business, showed us to our apartment which was in a great location being right on the Royal Mile doorstep. Spacious, clean and modern, very happy indeed. There was an issue with the kettle which Harvey sorted out immediately. Highly recommend for a stay in Edinburgh.

Great location and nice apartment”
This is a lovely apartment and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly (I guess you could say that about almost all Scottish people). It helps that there is a lift especially with luggage. The apartment is furnished well and the kitchen is well equipped with all the necessities. We stayed 3 nights and really didn't have much to complain about. It's close to pretty much everything in terms of groceries, shopping, restaurants and the tourist attractions near the Royal mile and Princes Street. One tiny issue was that the heater in the bedroom did not allow you to change settings so at times it got really hot and we would have to turn it off in the middle of the night. Then it would get really cold and we would have to turn it on (we were there end of Nov beginning Dec). It was not a big deal but I guess some people might have a problem with that. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone.

We booked the 2 rooms & 1 bathroom with Stay Edinburgh City Apartments. During the check in, met Harvey& Patrick and they were very friendly and helpful. The apartment looks exactly in the pictures. Very clean. Would definitely use their service again and recommend to family and friends.

excellent stay and excellent staff”
I had a wonderful stay here. The location was perfect, it was close to every attraction that we wanted to go. Everywhere is a walking distance between 2-20min. I love how we had our own space, where we had a living room, pantry and bedroom. It's like having our own house. The place is also very neat and clean, and I especially love the pictures on the walls. The staff is absolutely great and helpful. Despite my many queries , they were all very patient and understanding. I liased particularly with Patrick. He was great! Extremely helpful, friendly and patient. Big thanks to Patrick and the stay Edinburgh apartments team! Definitely a place to recommend to stay again.

We enjoyed our stay - the location was excellent and the accommodations were great. We did not expect to have as many stairs to climb - but after a few days in Edinburgh, stairs should be expected everywhere!! The shower water temps unexpectedly fluctuated from hot to cold. Other than that, we had a delightful time!! The views from the bedroom windows are wonderful - it can be a bit noisy in the front bedroom, but a pair of ear plugs can easily overcome that issue. Edinburgh is a wonderful city!!!!! We loved the people, the whisky, the pints, and the food!!!

Great location slap bang on the royal mile”
This apartment is in a great location right on the royal mile. We could see the castle from our bedroom window! The apartment is clean and tidy and had everything you would need for a short stay. Towels and the usual stuff was provided and the guy who showed us to our apartment helpfully pointed out a few places to visit and places to get lunch etc. The water pressure in the bathroom wasn't great but the building is old and this is a common problem in the Old Town so it wasn't unexpected. It is also necessary to climb three flights of stairs (well it was for our apartment). Again, given the age of the building I don't think you could be annoyed or surprised by this. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to explore the city. Very happy with all aspects of our booking.

A little gem in heart of old tiwn”
So close to everything in the heart of old tiwn. Close to transport, Edinburgh castle, princes gardens. Our apartment was tucked away in a little close and was so quaint. Only problem was washing machine was broken. However staff were so helpful and did our washing on several occassions, dried it and returned it to our apartment later in the day. This was great service. Warning- our room was 3rd floor which we wanted but we had 59 spiral steps. Bags only get taken up and down once so no issue and no problems for us at all, but if have problems you might want to request a lower level.

Simply Amazing!”
Simply Amazing! Centrally located right on the Royal Mile, this converted self service apartment at the top of over 90 or so steps of a stone spiral staircase (unit 11) was a Surprise Find! Spacious (the apartment), comfy (especially the bed) and clean! Management is helpful and staff are really friendly especially Eva who helped to take my suitcase all the way to the apartment. I couldn't thank her enough. I would give this place 11 out of 10 - the plus 1 goes to Eva for her kindness. Would definitely come back if I have the chance.

Great location for visiting all the attractions.”
Noisy road was the only problem! location was perfect, situated near the castle and old town. Please note, old town Edinburgh has lots of hills and the apartments do not have any lifts! Therefore, wear the appropriate confortable shoes or you will regret it after five hours of walking. Suurounded by lots of restuatants, i chose to sample the french cuisine, and it was outstanding.

we were stay in apartment with 4 bedrooms. near the edinburgh castle and camera obscura.the apartment is not located in shopping area but still is not that far away,you can walk or take bus.they have everything in the apartment from towel,hairdryer,kitchen utensils,microwave,oven.many restaurants near the apartment.but there is no big supermarket near the apartment.the staff is very nice.
