Perfect Hostel in Hanoi”

Stayed here for 3 weeks and had a wonderful time. The hostel is very clean and the beds with curtains offer great privacy and comfy mattresses for a good nights sleep. The windows are double-glass so they do a great job at blocking the noisy streets from Hanoi. Location is great with a lot of 24/7 food stalls if you're hungry late at night. The staff was very friendly and the manager (Lin) was always ready to help. 10/10 hostel

Lovely place to stay while in Hanoi”

We had a great stay in Hanoi. The lady is so friendly and helps you with everything. Ask her for the best places to eat and she will give you the best recommendations to try the Vietnamese kitchen. We were also allowed to leave our bags at the hostel while our tour to Sapa. And Ou can also book tours and buses. The location was quite good, you can do the old quarter by walking.

Clean, comfortable and safe”

Yeap, this place is awesome. The place was much neat and cleaner than I thought. The bed sheet and pillow is clean. Toilet is clean, shower was great, hot shower available all day. There is a small balcony, which you could hang your wet towel or clothes outside. The staff could speak and communicate in English with patience and polite. Basic breakfast provided. The hostel located in the city center and opposite a school, so the street will be crowded in the morning, but still acceptable. Many street within walking distance from the hostel. Not much social interaction with other travellers, but the atmosphere in the hostel made me feel extremely safe as I am travelling alone as a female.

Great location and people here”

Pros: big room, comfortable bed, has elevator, washing machine, and a map incase you do not have internet access on your phone outside, then their customized tour guide map can save you. They also have students who come on Sunday to meet foreigners and can cook for you, they cook really great, and the students were all friendly and nice. It was like a big family and friends staying there. Ling is also very helpful too. Cons: One shower room in 3rd floor can’t lock its door, it’s broken. No towel provided, there is a charge if you ask, I didn’t know as I heard it is given to compromise the damage I experienced between agoda and the hostel, I forgot to remind Ling about that. Also, i think the break down of what I would pay should be disclosed not only telling me the total. I am kind if shy to ask that honestly because the host is very nice. Overall, the place is convenient and comfortable, I might stay here again when I come back.

Good for a Short or Long Stay”

The beds in the dorms offer a lot of privacy and the bathrooms were very clean. Everything you need in a hostel is available here and the common space was great to meet some other traveller. It is, however, not a party hostel with strong respect for quiet hours.

Air-conditioner Saga”

Location a little out of the way. Main problem was the eccentric lady owner/staff who turns off the air conditioning at 9AM in the morning where everyone is still asleep and only turning on at 11PM. Happened randomly at different timings of the day/night and turned off the air condition. Went to asked her a few times nicely to turn on, which she complied after explaining that there were 8 people in a hot, stuffy and humid room. The last straw was when she commented that “Why do you need the air conditioning to be on?” “Today is so chill and cooling you know?” (mind you, it’s summer in June and it was obviously blazing hot at 40DEGS, humidity is like 100%), Totally able to sense her sarcastic tone. If the guesthouse, have indeed put a sign or even state it here that the air condition will only be on from what to what time, there would be no confusions and we would have a heads up first before we even book this place. I don’t usually give reviews like this on agoda but I think that this is a little out of line and I am able to let my fellow travellers know of this.
