Location locate very very near to all Ipoh best food! walking distance !! The air-conditioning is cold enough when the outside weather was sun burning. RM60 for triple room that allow to stay for 3 person is really very worth after all. I love the front desk girl who being very helpful to direct us the direction to locate nice food ! :D

I had a comfortable enough stay in Sun Golden Inn. The staff was quick to respond and help to ensure the safety of my car, when I needed extra sheets and when I complained about a broken sink in the room I rented.

DISGUSTING!!!! Very dirty room. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! ”
this hotel totally sucks. I had to book it as the entire town of Ipoh was sold out. The only other hotels left were even worse. So I booked Sun Golden Inn with some trepidation but hoped for the best. The hotel looked pretty run down, but the rooms were worse. There was lizard droppings EVERYWHERE in the room: on the BED, on the PILLOW, on the floor, in the toilet, in the shower. LIZARD DROPPINGS EVERYWHERE!!! Disgusting!!! I'm sure the staff are well aware of this, so they should at least have the room cleaned regularly even if it's unoccupied, but no, they let the shit (literally) pile up and have the guests deal with it. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

It's only a 20 minute walk from the train station, just off the main road. Convenient location, close to lots of bars and restaurants. Beware though, I was attacked my about 6 mosquitos while checking in so put on mossie repellant before checking in. The room looked run down and could do with repainting. The bathroom was big and functional. The toilet leaked (just plain water) every 15 minutes or so. Which was a bit annoying. I mentioned it to reception who just shrugged their sholders. Wifi was decent as was the hot shower and the aircon. The fan was tricky to get workng. It was fine for 1 night

The hotel was okay but the location is bad. Not recommended for girls or family as its a "red light" area especially at night. Although we did get an upgrade on our room, nevertheless the beds and blankets were dusty and the toilet had an odor that we can't get rid of. Location itself was convenient, near to town area and attraction spots.

Terrible Stay! ”
1)Pillow cases & bed sheet are smelly & sticky- quite sure not changed frequently! Feel itchy & can't sleep well the whole night! 2)Room is dusty and toilet is not washed properly. 3)Only 5 free parking lots available. Have to park outside at my own expense. 4)Bottled water given but is already opened & used before. Should keep the beds & pillows cleaner to let the customers have a good sleep!
