All the positive reviews sum it up. It was the best value for money stay given the resort’s PERFECT location. Sur’s beachfront is absolutely amazing. I liked the cabanas and day beds which were free to use for hotel guests. The accommodation itself was very nice and just right for sleeping after a long day at the beach. Looks exactly as you see it in the photos. It was clean and well-kept. Our heater in D13 wasn’t working though. Reported this and they sent housekeeping right away. Though the next day the heater stopped working again, but we didn’t complain anymore since we were too tired to wait for it to be repaired every time we took a shower. The staff of Sur were also very hospitable! Shout out to Sarah and Mike (who was just an OJT) from Sur bar/resto who were exceedingly warm and accommodating. Overall a great stay! Already dreaming of when we can visit again.

Great 2nd visit~”
This was our 4th visit to Boracay Island and 2nd stay at Sur Boracay. It was as perfect as we had hoped. We enjoyed our 1st stay at Sur so much we decided to stay the entire 11-nights in Boracay at Sur this time, and we were not disappointed. The staff are all extremely friendly and eager to assist. Location at Station 1 is perfect. Not to crowded but still close enough to D-mall to walk to for meals. The rooms and facilities are fairly basic but clean and have everything you really need - great value! The only complaint I have is that the wifi signal in the room we were in was weak - but 80~90% of the time we were awake was spent on the beach or at the beach bar so not much of an issue. The beach bar and restaurant staff were friendly and all exceptionally attentive and accommodating to our needs - it was a huge part of what made our vacation so enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again during our next visit to Boracay. Thank you!

Nothing but praises for Sur! All their staff are very hands on. From the booking process, travel reminders, making us feel at home, attending to our needs, and helping us out with our papers when we needed to extend our travel passes. The rooms are clean, lovely beachfront location, good food, and the staff are very attentive and prompt. I always see them mopping and sweeping the floor in the bar/dining area. The security guard is very friendly, yet effective in giving reminders, also always ready to hand me a towel. It really felt like home, especially our favorite cabana beside the bar. WiFi in the bar area can support "work from beach". Thank you for making our vacation really special! I also appreciate that we got a free room upgrade. They literally are the best!

Our friend group of 5 had a wonderful stay at Sur. We spent most of our days in the beach side cabanas, chairs, and beachfront of the hotel. It’s not the most luxurious location but everything is functional and clean and very spacious. One of our friends had to be rushed to the hospital on day 2 and the staff were helpful before and after the trip to assist her. Happy hour is also very good value. Breakfast and other foods are very good as well. Stairs are a bit steep and shower may need tightening so if you are traveling with older people, request lower floors. There is no pool at this hotel but you’ll be at the beach anyway. Air conditioning is very good in the rooms as well.

Room = Complete for a comfortable stay Spacious, Clean, With Powerful A/C, Lamp, Clothesline for drying clothes, Mini Refrigerator, Spacious Restroom, Hair Blower, Sound Proof Restaurant = Tasty and generally sumptuous Cereals, Bread, Rice, Approximately 5 types of viands, fruits, juices, coffee, pancake section Service = Courteous and Smiling Staff Cleaning of rooms, granting of requests for food, provision of umbrellas (episodes of rain during stay) Facilities = Relatively new and well maintained. Terrace available at top floor Location = Perfect sand and privacy for your retreat with loved ones Cons: Stayed only 3 nights. A month's stay would be fantastic (if free). =) Conclusion = You would not be wrong in choosing to stay with this resort. =)

Affordable Station 1 Beachfront Resort”
Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids for 3D/2N. Things I love on this place are: 1. Place is quite and the arrangement of each room is designed so guest have their own privacy. 2. All the staff are welcoming and approachable and so kid friendly. 3. Check in/out are fast and hassle free. Front desk are very considerate since we came in at 12:45am. 4. My kids loved their swings..and I love the plants and trees that surround the resort. 5. The ambiance of their dinning area which are not crowded. 6. The place and rooms are clean.

Staff was deciding factor”
Trademark Filipino hospitality! First time to stay here and will be back. I was supposed to stay just overnight Dec 2-3 for a business trip. But Typhoon Tisoy came and I was forced to extend my stay another two days because all flights were cancelled Dec 3 and 4. As I was looking for a hotel to transfer to, I was deciding between cheaper alternatives during my breakfast coffee. After looking through all Agoda recommendations, I decided I would be most comfortable here--staff was the deciding factor. They welcome you and make you feel like they've known you for a long time (special mention Joan FD, and guards) . They are helpful without being intrusive - unlike other resorts. Kudos to management!

This is my 4th time to visit Boracay but this is my first time to visit this Paradise Island with my husband and child (2y.o). We can say that Sur Boracay is perfect hotel to stay to. Food is delicious and affordable. Rooms are clean and spacious. Staffs are very polite and reliable. Very good location for the family or people who wants to avoid the crowded area. We will surely go back to Boracay and choose to stay again at Sur Boracay.

Great stay at Sur”
This was our second time at Sur. The value for the location is great. We were in room C-1, first floor. Big room but lacked a table( one was provided when requested). The staff is fantastic! Very attentive and helpful. They have a great happy hour( 50php for beers, buy one take one on mixed drinks). We love the beach here. They have lounge chairs, towels, and cabanas for the guests. We took an e-trike from the jetty( 10-15 minutes ride, 25 php per person..get a trike with a rack on top for your luggage). You can walk to Station 2 for restaurants or once the road improvements are done it will be a short ride there. I highly recommend the Sur for your stay!!

Value for money”
This is the most value for money stay that we had in Station 1. The location was perfect and the beach was not crowded. My toddler enjoyed the sun. Check-in was a breeze with welcome drinks and wet towels. The rooms were big and clean. Only downside was, we were placed at the 3rd floor when we had senior citizens and a kid with us. We would love to go back but will request for a lower floor next time. Thank you.

We had a great stay at Sur! It was a birthday getaway for me and my son and they made it even more extra by setting up the room with a Happy Birthday banner and even a cake! Location is superb, room was clean, buffet breakfast was yummy and all the staff were very attentive and nice! We will definitely be back. :)

Beachfront hotel with lovely facilities ”
Great for couples or groups of friends who want a nice beachfront hotel with spaces to hang out and have some nice drinks. No pool, but the lovely ocean is just a few steps away. They also have the longest happy hour and spacious cabanas and comfortable lounge chairs to enjoy your cold drinks in.

Location is great, right smack in Station 1 beside Two Seasons Resort. The property itself is fronting the beach but I think only 1-2 rooms have the same view. The design and feel of the resort is homey. The rooms are clean and spacious. You really get your money’s worth. Breakfast spread is ok.

It was our first time to stay in Sur and we had the best time! We traveled with our 2 year old and our 8 month old baby, and thoroughly enjoyed our 4d 3n stay. The resort location is perfect, the buffet breakfast was so good (and food selection changed daily), the room was just right, and the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. It is situated at station 1, and there was less crowd on the beach. Though only few rooms are at the beachfront, but then who would want to stay in the room when you're in boracay. It's a beachfront hotel, which I liked the best. They have long happy hour. 😊 They let you choose where to have your breakfast, in your room, at the cabanas or in the dining area.

Good Service and Friendly Staff”
We transferred from Fridays Resort and it was the best decision we made. We were greeted in the reception. Shanee was very professional and accomodating at the same time explaining everything on their services. Their buffet breakfast was really good. This place is worthy of your money. It is also located very well in Station 1. The beachfront view is awesome. Everybody are so friendly and they greet you with a smile. Our room is very clean and we had free water bottle (unlike in fridays were the water bottles aren’t free).I will definitely come back in Sur Resort.

Love that this is on the quiet side of the island. It's the hotel beside 2 seasons and Hennan (both has v steep pricing) It has v warm customer service, has a good variety of food (breakfast buffet is the best), the best happy hour and affordable massage :)
