My partner and I stayed 5 nights here at the end of April in a Superior Oceanfront room (no.308). The location is unbeatable - literally on the beach, with steps from the restaurant leading to the sand. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was a nice size, extremely clean and modern with great air con and a lovely balcony - my one (small) nitpick on that front would be that the lighting around the mirrors is quite poor, so eyeliner was out ;) pool is great for watching the sunset and chilling by - there isn't any music to disturb your afternoon nap, which I really liked! Breakfast was perfectly adequate in my opinion - a selection of pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, juice, banana cake (SO good), cooked breakfast (continental and Thai) and made to order eggs. A note on Surin - all the beachfront restaurants and bars were very recently demolished as part of a government clean-up operation, so the area is very quiet, which we absolutely loved. You can walk the beach in 10 minutes to find a coconut seller and some small food stalls though, so it's not completely devoid of activity - just lovely and quiet! There are a few restaurants a short walk away or you can get a cheap tuk tuk to either Kamala or Bangtao to seek out somewhere more buzzy. Personally we loved the unspoilt chill of the Surin Beach Resort and wouldn't hesitate to book another trip there.

I have a family of six with 3 young children and a toddler. Initially thought of booking 2 hotel rooms but the cost is quite high for 2 reasonable room in a hotel near beach. So I start searching for apartment and I found this Surin Park. The apartment is clean, bright and spacious. It has luxury hotel quality and the children like it very much. It is also near Surin beach within walking distance or with a short drive and not as crowded as the Patong beach. The staff is helpful. The hotel is also not crowded as others so the children enjoy the facilities especially the pool very much.

True to its tag, the Novotel Phuket Surin Beach Resort was the best kid-friendly hotel that we had stayed in. The facilities had been rejuvenated this year and the room we had booked was modern and spacious (with a balcony overlooking the hotel pool). The white sandy Surin beach is about 3-mins walk across a small field from the hotel. There are pllenty of great eateries at affordable prices as well as convenience stores such as Family Mart & 7-11 located along the road where the Resort is located. The Siam Adventure Club and its helpful staff as well as its Elephant mascots were fantastic and made the kids felt truly welcomed!! There are video arcade room, a pool table, a kids movie room as well as a special kid dining zone with cartoon shows being screened on a wall-mounted TV while the youngsters dine. Art de Vivre!

We had the best time at 6th Avenue Surin for eight lovely night, the staff are all very happy and friendly, especially the two lovely young receptionists but unfortunately we can only remember the beautiful Eunique. The pool and gym was amazing. They must have a good boss because all his staff are very happy . Two resturants you must try the best in Surin and cheap are The Riverside Inn and Butterfly all within easy walking distance .Also must mention my amazing massage lady called Beauty @ Pan Nee Beauty & Massage which I had 4 massages over the 8 nights. We will be touring for 3months in Thailand booking only with Agoda as we find they a so good to deal with and have never had anything go wrong. Thank you Agoda for making our holiday a lot easier. If you don't need your own kitchen this is easily the best deal in Surin Beach. I know because I scoured the internet and physically walked around checking out the whole area. This hotel is a close walk to the beach and many restaurants, the rooms are nice, new, spacious, and clean. It's a chill relaxed vibe at this hotel. Some other good hotels a little higher end are The Park and 6th ave, but if u don't need your own kitchen this is a better deal and closer walk to beach. If you plan to stay in Surin area and in this price range this is easily the best you will find. PS Yes there is a curtain that u can drop down in bathroom so bathroom not visible from room if u want, but it was actually cool to have it open to the room otherwise.

I can't praise The Chava enough. Right from the start, everything was perfect. Check-in was efficient and our room was huge. We were provided with drinks on arrival and a fruit basket. Both bedrooms had flat screen TV's + 1 in the lounge room. This was fantastic when travelling with a child as she had her own space to watch TV / movies. The apartment was furnished beautifully (very modern) and it was handy to have our own kitchen... not that I cooked but having a full size fridge meant that we could buy our own drinks and snacks and keep them in the apartmen.t. A mini bar is provided as well The location of the hotel is perfect in my opinion....Surin Beach is lovely and has plenty of great restaurants on the beach (my recommendation.... Pla Seafood) and it's not too far to travel anywhere. We hired a car for 2 days (that the hotel organised for us) and found it very easy to get anywhere from Surin Beach. The staff at The Chava were very helpful at all times and organised anything we asked for. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with The Chava. You have all the ammenities of a hotel with the advantages of an apartment. Definitely great value for money!

It is in a quiet part of Phuket. even though there are a lot of tourist staying here it is a very Thai area, after about 11pm everything is closed except 711 and Tesco. They about 60 metres away. The beautiful Surin beach is about 500 metres away 5 to 10 minutes walk away, fairly flat no hills. The driveway here has an incline but not steep at all. The kitchen is very well appointed, you won’t need anything except food. Never drink tap water in Thailand, we bought the 6 litre bottle of Nestle water for tea, coffee and cooking The aircon is excellent and the shower has pretty good pressure for Thailand, it never ran out of hot water. The staff are very good at their jobs, and very courteous. A scooter or car can be hired onsite and cheaper (haggle within reason) and more trustworthy than elsewhere. No restaurant, but we prefer to cook for ourselves, or eat at the local restaurant across the road on r/h side of the Tesco. It may not look as flashy as some of the other restaurants but

Our stay at the Villa was the highlight of our trip. The personal attention that the hotel staff administers is above and beyond the norm. They tend to all your personal needs and desires with enthusiasm and a smile. They love making their guests feel cared for and happy. The place is spotless and quiet. The views are exquisite. If your looking to unwind and relax or you need a quiet place to think and create this is the place for you. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends. They make everything easy and accessible. It's location is at the top of the hill overlooking Surin Beach, so some may consider it a little harder to get to. But once you arrive it is harder to leave. It is the best kept secret of Surin. Hands down if you discover this place you will want to come back.

We enjoyed the 3 night staying at the villa very much, the rooms are spacious and all with good view. Their staffs are all very nice and helpful, the thai and seafood bbq dinner prepared by them was superb, we had good moments having breakfast at the kitchen every morning. Just 1 thing to improve is the entrance, can renovate it a bit to make it looks nicer and more eye catching, as its easily skipped at night.

We got a room on the 5th floor, it was nice, but faced to the road, a little bit loud because of vehicles passing by. But for the price we paid and for the time we stayed (1 night) is okay. The beach is not too far, pharmacy and 7/11 across the road. We wanted to explore the surin beach, so this hotel is 1 min far by motobike. Be aware you can get to this area (surin beach) from the airport by taxi only. there is no minivan going there. The taxi costs 700 baht. But we bought the tickets to patong first, then rented a motobike there and got to surin.

The hotel was even better than we expected; we're not very picky in general but this hotel had everything we wanted and more. In particular, the room (more like a suite) was very spacious and consisted of 4 sections. The entry had a private jacuzzi, then was the living room, then the main bedroom, and lastly the bathroom. Right outside our suite was the swimming pool - very accessible. Although the first line of privacy are sliding barred "shade" doors (which are not that private), we never felt our privacy in jeopardy since the pool was never busy. On that note, suites near the far end of the pool are more private due to the shape of the pool which narrows. The next privacy barrier is that the bedroom area has thick curtains which separate it from the living room which guests close at night. Although the glass sliding doors to the suite didn't give a feeling of highest-security, we never felt this was a concern and the safe in the bedroom was quite adequate to fit a 15" laptop, and much more. The air conditioning units worked quite strongly offering two real settings: super cold or off. The breakfast buffet was nothing fancy but hit the spot where dishes would change and rotate on a daily basis. Other very convenient perks of the hotel was the on-site scooter rental. You pay on a by-day basis and any extra gas you need. Day trips that we wanted to take were set up on our behalf by the helpful staff at the front desk; this made things very easy. We were even able to pay for them at the end of our stay directly through the hotel at no extra cost. The driveway up to the hotel is quite steep, but walkable or scooter-able. Although the hotel is not directly on the beach, it's only a 10-15 minute walk start to finish, and about 4 minutes by scooter to Surin Beach; this was not at all a problem for us and we came to enjoy being a little bit removed from the beach-scene. The hotel had a shuttle service to Surin Beach 3 times a day, but we never used it.

Surintra is located next to Twin Palm and Double Tree resorts on Surin Beach. I was impressed by the large clean and comfortable rooms - modern design with huge windows overlooking the swimming pools. The lbathrooms have Balinese or resort style design. This hotel is perfect for anyone looking for a reasonable hotel in Surin - it does not have the same luxury as Twin Palms or Double Tree - but good value for a big room close to the action at Catch club on Surin Beach. Reqeust a room in the new wing - more modern than the old wing of the hotel.

Benyada Lodge is extremely close to Surin Beach. Surin beach has BEAUTIFUL sunsets and not many people. Just walk across the lot (5 min) and you're there. I stayed in the Studio room. Staff are friendly, room was nice and spacious, air con worked really well and was one of the quieter air con units. If you have a car, you can park in the empty lot that connects to the beach. Shower always had hot water, and the wifi was decent and usable. Minor annoyances: - Keys are used instead of keycards. - No elevator. If you have luggage, you're going to have to carry them up on checkin and back down on checkout. - Shower nozzle sprays small streams of water which I don't like which makes it take longer to get the soap suds off. - Bathroom floor gets wet after showering (note that this is a common thing with budget hotels in Thailand). How wet it gets depends on your positioning of the shower curtain. Overall, I would totally recommend this place. If I were to return to Surin Beach, I would come back to this hotel.

It`s a small nice Hotel in Surin Bay - very clean and the rooms are very very nice. The beach is just 5 min. walk - though with lot`s of tourists. On the beach side the restaurants are really posh and expensive but before there is a small market with really good food to more local prices. Though for drinks at night there are lots of bars and clubs around. The Hotel is just 30min. from the airport so we stayed one night before we flew out of Phuket. Therefore it`s brilliant. But Phuket and the beach itself ist just too touristy.

It’s a good fresh hotel. The road takes 15-20min walking to Bandtao beach because the short road is closed, and 20 min to Surin. Actually for taxi drivers this hotel is located on Bangtao. And also don’t left some food or even small pieces of it in the room-a lot of ants everywhere in the hotel. There is a very quiet and nice area with few very good restaurants. Stuff is good and friendly. Internet works good.

Very warm welcome with lots of smiles, a cold drink and cold towel.The room was very clean and spacious. Location was fabulous many very expensive hotels in Surin but if you are on a budget you could not do better.Pool was great and open from 7am till midnight. Thank you to all the staff your hotel is SWEET !

Aree is an absolute sweetheart and so helpful! We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again! Everything in the house is new, modern, working, and clean. The house is a couple minutes walking distance away from the beach!

I live in Bang Tao and just wanted a getaway for a night. I was impressed firstly by the price and then the facilities there at Bang Tao House. Friendly owner and very relaxed place to be. Highly recommend for an inexpensive but high quality hotel experience.

we stayed few days in Similan, we could have not made a better choice. The owners were friendly and helpful. The hotel is great value for money, considering that the rooms are very comfortable and big, the location is near best beaches in Phuket (Surin and Bang Tao) and near by you have authentic local restaurants that serve amazing food for very cheap prices. Is easy to rent a motorbike ( the hotel owners also offer that possibility) and to get around. there is a nice ouside area with sofas and tables where breakfast is served and where you cam chill after a day in the beach, super nicely decorated and where Internet in the fast (unlike many other places we have been) so it was easy for us to connect and plan our other trips. I definitively recommend Similan to anyone who is travelling to Phuket. A very nice spot!

We found out about The Surin Phuket online. It was listed among the best places to stay in Phuket accordingly to a travel site. We've picked The Surin Phuket among couple of other hotels, because of facilities that it offers (gym, private beach). We never regretted our choice! When arriving to the hotel we got lots of compliments - from sweets in the room to a free Thai Oil massage in the hotel's SPA. It was great experience! Stuff of the hotel is SUPER caring and friendly. We received lots of attention from the arrival to departure! Room was cleaned twice a day (general cleaning in the morning and another check-up in the afternoon, where stuff is leaving flowers on the bed and some cookies for the evening :) ). Hotel has a great gym, that has all the needed equipment for a regular workout. Pool area is great and enjoyable! Another things that we liked a lot - is a private beach. We were visiting many beaches around the area, but the Surin Phuket's is best - so clean, not many people and of course lots of white sand to enjoy beautiful sunsets on! Hotel offers great activities. We especially enjoyed Friday evening cocktail hour with complementary drinks & snacks from the hotel. The special thing about this hour is that guests could meet not only each other, but also people who work at the hotel and enjoy a drink together! Great time to meet local people! Hotel has no standard rooms, but cabins, that are situated separately from each other and standing right among trees and palms, which gives you a feeling of staying on exotic island. Thank you The Surin Phuket for great 11 days of a honeymoon stay! It was great time at unforgettable place!

we were upgraded to palm suite which is huge (one child in single bed and a porta cot in a separate living area with dividing wall, but no door. massive balcony facing part of the pool. the hotel is probably 200m from the beach, with a walk across a grassy playing field (called an old royal golf course!). the hotel has low key but massive bar / restaurant area (call the catch) next to surin beach under the pine trees. all along surin beach there is a cobbled access lane/road with different open air and closed air thai restaurants, which then have their area of sun beds for rent. the ones for hotel and day paying catch guests ( thb/person) are more spread out. you are provided towels etc. food and drink is cheaper in the places next door - we used both, as appreciated the catch facilities and space. the catch also attracts a range of people for lunches and also dinner and bar (nightlife)!. have seen the sea crystal clear in feb and no waves, small waves in march but 2 yr old and 5 yr old handled and a roaring sea (aug/sept rainy season and surfers) that only strong adult swimmer would swim in. lot's of beach massage places and also on the road that hotel is on back from beach. there are also a reasonable range of restaurants from pub/sport bar, wood fired pizza to thai. there appear to be a few resident expats also living in the area. hotel is 30 mins from airport. taxi without booking about thb from airport (camry or similar). hotel charges thb! from surin beach to airport thb for car, thb for toyota forunner. hotel was good also at catering for allergies. eg checking which bread had no eggs and nuts would definitly go back.

The hotel owner was very friendly. We were greeted and welcomed warmly with authentic sincere thai smiles. Located in a secluded spot along the road heading towards Surin, the hotel serves as a retreat from all the dins of the busy Phuket's night life. Highly recommended for muslim families and couples. Not suitable for backpackers and westerners. Stay clean.

Sansuri is located on a quiet street near Surin Beach. A few restaurants and spas on the same st. and a 24-hour supermarket a 10 min walk away. Peaceful and relaxing. There is no restaurant on site but a delivery svc is avail from nearby restaurants so food wasn't a problem. Taxis are easily arranged thru the front desk with only a few min waiting time. The down side is that the recep. is not always staffed. Most of the time, the desk is empty. A phone is left there for you to call the staff if you need help or have a question. Easy enough but not as convenient as if someone were sitting there. Staff were so friendly and helpful! Apt. was very big and spacious, lots of room for the kids. Kitchen was sufficient for our needs. However, there were many things in the apt. that did not work. The internet, TV, cooker, lights to name a few. There was no immediate fix for these issues but the staff were amazing and went out of their way to rectify the problems. Kind & humble, we loved them!

We spent 3 nights in one of the Surin Heights Villas over New Years and cannot rate it highly enough. After a wee hiccup to start (double booking by Agoda) the awesome team managing Surin Heights managed to find us a new villa in the complex with just days until New Years. It was no hassle and they were so helpful and friendly in correcting the situation. When we arrived we were more than impressed, the photos hadn't quite done it justice and the view, outdoor area, kitchen and two lounge areas were incredible. All 3 bedrooms were a very high standard and each had their own bathroom, but the Master suite was definitely amazing with views that were really breathtaking to wake up to! The location is a quick scooter ride away from 7 elevens, food stalls and some great shops. The beach is also really close by and could be a walk or quick scooter ride, although we were pretty happy just using the cabana and pool at the villa. We really didn't want to leave and will definitely be back!!

Perfect getaway for group of friends. Top service, friendly and helpful staff, the villa was equipped with complete kitchen set, so we can cook and prepare meals in the villa. We love the view and privacy of the villa. However, the location is at a hilltop, so transportation may be needed in order to travel around.

Good sized apartment with a great pool, gym and bar. Very helpful staff around the complex. 10 minute walk to a Tesco and other shops, with plenty of taxi options around the area (including the hotel). Better communication from Lofty would be good (online payment and checking out). Would happily stay here again.

nice villa with friendly staff located top the hill has infinitu pool and transportation included which was a plus aside not much but compare to other similar price was competitive
