Beautiful, quiet, cozy gem between Sunset and sundown”
We have spent 4 nights at this lovely place and really had a great time. The people who are running the resort are extraordinary friendly, Kind and helpful. Our beach cottage and the whole Resort was absolutely clean. No bugs or spiders could enter the cottage, there were mosquito-nets at the windows and additionally a net for the huge and comfy bed. The food was also very good! I absolutely recommend the phantastic Mango-shake. Some other people complained here in ratings that the resort is too far off the beaten track. I don‘t agree. We rented two e-bikes with which it was very easy and much fun exploring the whole island. Of course you can also rent scooters or take a taxi which brings you to any place/beach on the island for only 50 Baht per person. The resort is also closed to the Ao Nid pier. There are hammocks and sunbeds for relaxing and although there is no sandy beach, swimming and snorkelling is very fine. We definitely recommend this resort and Koh Mak in general.

Tranquillity must be described in another word „Tha lay time“”
Before I booked I looked into some comments particularly some German(I am German) which I would say are not very fair! They say there is a stony beach, so what? There are steps wich lead into a clear water! I am 75 years old, did not brake my neck! They say there is no fridge, there are fridges everywhere. Staff is brilliant and very helpful! Boat trips pick you up directly from the pier. All around it is a quiet place with beautiful surroundings a lovely maintained garden excellent menu for everybody’s taste. It is a long way from Chaiyaphum but worth every mile! Last not least, go to see Nong massage, she taxied me in one glance and cared for my problems many therapists in Germany couldn’t!

Very quiet, private and lovely resort, The bungalow is clean, cosy and the bed is comfortable with amazing sunrise view. That feel great when we laid on the bed and see the sunrise every morning. The staff were incredible, kind , super helpful and very welcoming. The breakfast was good, we took a Muesli with mixed fruit served with homemade yogurt everyday. Motorbike rental is available at the resort

I’ve stayed here twice now, absolutely love this place. They have rooms facing the sea in a secluded location on the South of the island. The only problem is that it’s quite far away from everything else so it’s advisable to rent a motorbike. Everything else is excellent though, I can’t recommend it highly enough. The perfect place to stay if you want somewhere quiet and relaxed.

What can u say waking up seeing the sea everyday,super relax. The cheap Thai massage by the sea is such a enjoy. The food is good enough,the staff is the warm.it’s basically the end of this organic island,but u can take your motorbike to everywhere u want around 10-15mins. Happy to find such a perfect place to take a big break.now it’s a fantasy image in a city sick person’s mind.

Excellent, value for money, in a peaceful location”
The best place to stay in Koh Mak; quiet and peaceful which is very suitable for you to relax and refresh. The location is excellent; the bungalows are right on the beach so you can hear the sound of waves. The owner and all staff are friendly and helpful. I really recommend.

I like the location, we can found the sunrise in the front of room and sunset on the back of bungalow. Thai food is very nice and I’m impress to massage with the view here that great relax time. If i have time i will back again.

I stayed 8 full days at Talay Time and would certainly chose it again if I return to Koh Mak. The location is PERFECT! Right on the beach at the southern extreme tip of the island, isolated and utterly silent except the crashing of the waves on the beach right off your porch. The staff is wonderful and helpful. There's a nice drive to the place through the jungle. There's air con, hot water, a nice restaurant, and unlimited bottled water free. I'd only suggest an chair inside and a fan, but maybe by request (I never asked). Do yourself a favor and book here!

We had an amazing stay at Talay Time. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was perfect, just a few metres away from the sea and facing east so we could watch the sunrise every morning from bed. The location of the hotel is quite far from anything else on the island and a bit secluded. However, taxis are cheap and so is renting a motorbike so the quiet location wasn't a problem for us. I'd definitely stay here again.

Wonderful out of the way location with waterfront bungalows.Manager lady was super nice and very helpful.Family owned and still growing.Lovely small breakfast provided.No tv or fridge but wasn't missed.We enjoyed rented motorbike and the quiet shady country road this property was located on.Not a place for swimming in the ocean,rocky shoreline.The excursion to the beach side of this tiny island was so much fun we really want to return.If you want to get away and sleep to the sound of the waves outside your window,this is it.Masseuse was called for at our request and did not disappoint.Lovely memory

I really enjoyed the stay here.the food was excellent and the staff was very very nice. There is nothing much to do but you can rent motorbike if you want to go to a lovely beach or find some more restaurants. It was easy to get there by speedboat , which dropped you off and picked you up at the resort. Very convenient. The room was great. Very clean and fresh. Buil t a couple of months ago. The view when you wake up is stunning while you are watching the sunrise. I highly recommend this place .

We had a lovely stay at Ta Lay Time. Our house was really clean en nice and we also had a lot of privacy and a sea view (the sunrise is beautiful). You can also rent a motorbike at the resort which is nice. Koh Mak is a small island and really easy to travel around by motorbike. The staff is also super nice and helpfull. They helped us booking a boat/taxi and also provided us good information about the island.
