Great family Homestay ”
Tam Family Homestay is located in Bai Dinh, away from the city centre of Ninh Binh and busy tourist area of Tam Coc. The location was perfect for us, amongst the locals and just a short motorbike ride away from all the sightseeing activities. The Homestay itself is lovely. Our room was spacious and extremely tidy and clean. There is an outside area to relax in and they offer delicious home cooked traditional meals. Breakfast is great too with huge portions! The family were so nice and polite. We would highly recommend this place.

A quiet homestay owned by kind and genuine people”
The homestay is a little far from Tam Coc but if you have a motorbike it’s great because driving to and from the homestay is beautiful! Definitely have dinner at the homestay because it’s delicious. Really lovely people here. It’s so peaceful. The neighbors are excited to see you. The surrounding shops and mechanics are all fair priced and honest unlike in Ninh Binh city center. The English spoken at the homestay is limited but they always have a translator they can reach 24/7 to get things communicated. And WiFi is good for you to translate simple stuff yourself! There’s an annoying cat that meows during for food during dinner but just throw it a hair elastic and he’ll go play with that and leave you alone :-) Also I do wish they didn’t leave their lovely dog Mít tied up all day. He seems so well behaved and they have a big yard that’s closed in to let him run around!

A very helpful family. You got directions to attractions around and I recommend hiring a motorbike at Tam, it took around 20 min of riding motorbike to anywhere. Also, you should ask for the Ninh Binh 's specialty for dinner/lunch at the homestay, it was stunning. The room is a bit dark but it is not the problem to us. The service of the homestay made our trip 100% more satisfied. Definitely go bank to this homestay if I go back to Ninh Binh.

Amazing Experience Tam Family Homestay”
Great Kindness of the lady of the home forgotten her name, friendliness, Warm hospitality and exceptional service, Fantastic experience at Tam homestay, nearby to few scenic spots in Ninh Binh by bike, we had gotten to an unfortunate little accident while returning back from place we had visited earlier and for dinner we mentioned arrange with to prepare for us after dark at nearby back alley road a km away from homestay, was lost due to phone got broke we we're found by on of their staff went look for us and help us back home with some injuries, she immediately help us with our injuries, made us feel better and had prepare us a warm sumptuous home cooked dinner to forget what just happened. She also was really great to prepare delicious breakfast of banana panakes with viet coffee that tasted so authentically comforting and satisfying! Also accommodating and super helpful arranging our last min transport to for pickup of reasonable private bus to take us back to Hanoi ! :))

Best family”
Even though the homestay is a little far from ninh Binh, it was well worth it. The family is so welcoming, the food is great and we actually had so much, we kept half the food in their refrigerator and had enough for lunch the day after. They rented us scooters and after the first day told them one of the scooters wasn't strong enough in hills: they rented us their own scooter for the same price to resolve the issue!! Also, on our third and last night there, they invited us to eat with them which was lovely. Finally, they arranged transport back to Hanoi for us which was really appreciated. 100% recommend the place!

The place was great. Quiet, spacious, clean and with all you need. Location may be a bit far from the main sites (altough it's only 300 meters away from Bai Dinh Pagoda) but nothing to worry about if you have a motorbike. My advice is to rent de motorbike in Ninh Binh when you get there by train or bus and go to the homestay. That way you save the taxi from and to the homestay.

Value for money ”
Great place to stay, friendly and helpful staff. Dinner was delicious and so much for food for only $5USD. They gave us a map of all the sightseeing activities and rented out a scooter for 100,000VD a day. Overall a really great stay but it is a bit far from most places like Tam Coc and Ninh Binh city, 20-30min drive.

Great Farm Stay - a little far away but surely worth it”
Great place. Like Home. Stayed just one night/day but thought should have stayed at least 2 nights. Food was amazing (breakfast-free. lunch and dinner - for a price worth it). They booked a taxi for return too. 200k-300k vnd to ninh binh railway station. Near by Bái Đính Temple is walking distance (tip - if you get early you can visit to temple no one will be there). If you want just relax and take rest on your vacation this is the best place.

This is the nicest place I've stayed in Vietnam so far. It's actually a real Homestay you live and eat with the family. It's not in the center of Tam Coc, you might need a motorbike to get around but it's worth it. The food is wonderful and the family is really welcoming and charming. I would definitely go back!!!

Very beautiful, and clean homestay, with a very kind and helpful family.”
The homestay is located near the bei-dinh pagoda in a very calm little village. The room and the bathroom were clean and had everything we needed. I highly recommend having dinner. It‘s a whole lot of food for the resonable price. The family is very friendly and helpfull. Only the young women speaks english but you can communicate with the rest of the family via a translater application pretty easily. We had 3 nice nights here and would definitly stay another time!

Loveliest place on earth”
We were lucky to stay with this beautiful family, they gave us a nicer room than we booked which was amazing. So comfy and clean. The free breakfast was the tastiest ever and dinner was amazing, she even made it vegan for us and it was so good. We loved staying at this place, we felt so welcome, when we left we could leave our bags in the room and they even gave us a lunchbag for our trip. The place is outside the city but very easy to reach with the scooter, i loved the area because it felt like the real vietnamese life, i cant recommend this place enough! We payed less for this than a hostel and had the best time ever, i wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you family tam for being the nicest people ever :)

We stayed with the Tam Family for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. They are such a friendly and helpful family. Beautiful countryside set up in a peaceful location. The room was clean and comfortable with an awesome view of a pagoda. Breakfast was awesome - we had the banana pancakes both mornings as we enjoyed them so much. Scooters and bikes available to hire. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect trip in Ninh Binh”
The owners are very friendly, especially dinner prepared by the owner was awesome. I totally fell in love with Com Chay (sot thit de), which is well-known dish in this place. The room is clean. The location is very close to Bai Dinh pagoda, but quite far from the train station. However, i still highly recommend to stay in Tam Homestay, which is far from the city center, to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere there

Great Stay”
Would definitely recommend everyone to stay in this Homestay! The family and the kids are amazing even though their English is limited. They are very helpful and kind and they cook amazingly well so definitely have dinner at least once there. The only minor detail that could be improved is the fact that I stayed there for three nights and no one cleaned up our room in neither of the days. But leaving that aside I’ll give 10/10 to this homestay.

BEST HOMESTAY IN NINH BINH”
This homestay was amazing. The family were so welcoming and helpful, they provided all the info we needed and rented us scooters. They even helped us out when we broke down and didn't charge us when we couldn't use the bike for most of one day due to the petrol stations being closed for TET. The rooms were big and clean and we had an amazing view of the pagoda (which lights up at night). The shower was hot and the dinner and breakfast they provided was a feast of authentic Vietnamese food. The location is out of the main town and is right by the national park which is what we wanted. You can get to the town by scooter in 15mins but the main sights are out of town so it was ideal for us. You really feel at home here. Easily the best place we have stayed so far in Vietnam.

Super friendly family, Tam the operators English is great and he's very helpful with things to see nearby etc. There's a view of the Bai Dinh Pagoda from the room and it's lit up at night making it really special. If you don't have a bike you can rent one directly to see the local sights. They cooked food for us every night and it was amazing. We ended up extending our stay as we were enjoying ourselves so much. 10/10 would stay again.

Love the charming house with green trees. Good meals, friendly family members. Will be back here next time! The location is a little bit far from famous sites (Tam Coc, Thung Nang) but it's Ok for me
