Pros - The room was clean. About 15 mins ride from the airport. The staff is accomodating. The comfort room was clean. Cleanliness was not an issue. Though we transferred from one bed to another because we felt like the bed that was given to us was not cleaned. There was dirt in the beddings and there was a coin left in the bed. We booked a mixed room and since we were only the guests that time we transferred to the other bed that seemed clean. CONS - They need to improve their menus. The free breakfast was almost I dont know I didnt like it. They have to have like European or American food at least. Far from everything except Airport. But I think you have nothing to worry about because transportation is cheap. You can book a grab all day and you still have money in your pocket.

Reason why we booked this hotel was because we needed a place to unload our luggage, since the services offered at airport were very pricey. For the price, you really cannot expect and we didn't. Cleanliness was very questionable and we were held up at check out because of some confusion about payment (we booked and paid with agoda minutes before coming down so I think they didn't get to process it yet, I'm not sure) but managed to reach the airport in time for our flight back, thank goodness. Either way, the best takeaway from this hotel is its location. Otherwise, I wouldn't encourage it.

My sister and I had a pleasant overnight stay at Green Ruby Hotel when we arrived in Tan Son Nhat airport at 3 AM. We walked to the hotel because it was about 400 yards/meters from the airport. We were greeted by a courteous and helpful desk staff who gave us a room with 2 beds as we requested. The room was clean. The beds was nice, but the mattress was on the firm side. The wifi signal was strong. Overall I rated the hotel was excellent for the value for money, location, cleanliness, staff, and facilities.

i chose this hotel because my arrival at hcm was late into night and am really fed up with hassel with notorious delinquent saigon taxi drivers and wanted no long taxi ride. (i was to take the next day flight out to nha trang.) true it's very close to airport, only 5 min. the room was ok for the rate - you shouldn't expect luxury, but the very narrow bathroom was disappoining and rather uncomfortable. fortunately the noise including the early morning traffic was not so bad. staff was ok. they served hot water for green tea (a tea set in room). it's my own fault but i almost left the hotel without retrieving my passport! the manager ran out of hotel to give me my passport at the moment my taxi was about to leave. thank you, manager.

i was there for 2 days. i liked the place. not very fancy. close to the airport with many shops. i liked walking around to get all the things i needed. would think staying there again if traveling alone.

The mattress was softer than most I've encountered in Asian 1-star hotels, which meant a reasonable night's sleep. Their "normal" price listed on Agoda is not accurate. The "special" Agoda price is what is listed on their reception counter price list. Either way, less than US$10 for a quick overnight between flights with gym and food close to the hotel was very good value.

The price is pretty cheap, but the staffs are so nice. Thanks to Ms Thuy and Mr Ha, also to the owner (i forgot the name sorry) they are so kind and very accommodating. Eventhough its hard to communicate because of the language yet they are trying their best to help us. The place is so good for the price. Recommended for the backpackers like us. Will be book here if ill come back to ho chi minh. Thats high five 🖐🏼

I stay here everytime I go to Tan Binh or if I have a flight the following day. It is very close to the airport. The staff didn't speak much english but they were helpful.

All was good therefore I will only list the downside. Only shampoo is provided so be prepared your own shower and brushing stuff else mini Mart is within walking distance. Another downside is door shutter close at 10pm therefore I find quite troublesome and inconvenience to call host to wake up just to open the shutter(kind of awkward to wake them up from sleep). Else everything was great! Thanks for the hospitality :)

I had to made my reservation online for my wife who was traveling to Ho Chi Minh. I wasnt quite sure if i would have any issues doing so since i'm here in the USA and she's there visiting her brother. I sent a Facebook message them for confirmation this request, and with in the same day they quickly response to my inquiry. Thank you. My wife says the people are nice, the rooms were large nice and clean. A very convient location, and she highly recommended it. Again, Thank you, will stay again.

The room was clean, tv has english channels, good wifi connection, and helpful staffs (esp. when you need a transpo & money changing). The location is along the highway where the provincial buses and international buses passes by, and it is also near to Pandora Mall. It is far from District 1 (100,000 to 200,000 VND by taxi & 80,000 by motorbikes) where the center of the city is located (restaurants, shopping centers, coffee shops, tourist tour agencies, tourist/backpackers hotel). It is also near the airport but A LITTLE BIT FAR from the "entrance of the airport" (100,000+ VND by taxi, 50,000+ VND by motorbikes).

A few pros: -This was one of the cheapest hotels available in HCMC. -The rooms are all singles with queen size beds -air conditioning -complimentary bottled water -fridge -multi-national electric outlets (worked with American plugs) -free WiFi -TV (for anyone interested) The road to get there is more of an alley, and might seem a bit sketchy at night until you spend one day in Tan Binh District. Then you realize just how culturally rich this area is as compared to District 1 (or Quay 1 or Q.1, the backpacker/tourist district). Staff is very friendly and gave some great tips for cheap travel to the highlights of HCMC. There are lots of cheap food places near by with great authentic Vietnamese food (about 1/3 the cost of places in Q.1 and even more delicious). Q.1 is about 15-20 min away by city bus, which costs about 4000-5000 VND (about $0.25-0.30 USD). A few potential problems: -There is no elevator to get to the third floor, which could be a problem for someone carrying heavy luggage. The doormen will definitely give you a hand with it, but it can be a problem for some. -Electricity in HCMC is unreliable, at least in Tan Binh District. There were 2 blackouts which lasted about 20-30 minutes each during the 12 hours I spent in my room. Staff was well-prepared and placed candles on every floor within one minute of the blackouts, and also gave out complimentary beverages as I sat in the front lobby eating my Banh Mi sandwich, enjoying the surprisingly cool evening air. -Traffic is a bit intense on the main road (2 streets away from Thien Vu Hotel), especially for a first-timer to HCMC. There are no "walk" signs at the traffic lights like there are in Q.1, so I spent some time watching local pedestrians and built up courage to learn to cross the street amidst an intimidating stream of motorcycles. Luckily, after that it's easy. Enjoyed this hotel. The only cheaper places were dormitory-style backpacker rooms in Q.1, about $5-10 USD price differ

well located in Tan binh neighbourhood with convenient store nearby and owner is accomodating to my request when i wanted a bathtub room and always helpful...

I travelled with my 4 year old son and our flight arrived at 9pm, so that I was looking for a hotel which is within walking distance. We had stayed in the very popular Mi Linh hotel in March 2019 and our stay there was ok. Knowing the area from my first visit experience, I wanted to try another cheaper hotel and I found the 95 Lam Son hotel. I didn't expect much from the cheap hotel, but our stay was very good. Our check in was really smooth even though our late arrival. The old guy at the reception doesn't speak English but well prepared for our arrival. The room we got was really large, the size must be triple or even bigger, and cleaner than the room at Mi Linh hotel. Somebody already mentioned that there's only glass partition between the room and bathroom. So if you're traveling with friends or even family, It must be uncomfortable. Me and my small son did not have any problem with it, of course... There are various kind of restaurants around the hotel. It open until midnight and start in an early morning.

A quiet stay in the hotel. They also rent motorbikes that makes moving very convenient. Close to the airport, so drop your luggage in the counter to enjoy the final hours before getting on the plane.

Pros :location if you need something in walking distance from airport. Clean rooms, value for money if you get a discounted rate through app, less so if you pay the 550000 at reception Cons:location, if you want something near District 1, Most rooms no Windows

Good transit hotel. 10minutes from Tan Nhat Son Airport on a busy street with restaurants, karaoke, shops on both sides of the street. We were in a family room with 2 double beds and found the room itself was clean and spacious. My only issue with this room however was the bathroom stench! The bathroom doesnt have a window, there is no ventilation in there so after settling into the room, a sewerage stench spread through the room from the bathroom. We didnt bother complaining as we had arrived late and were leaving at dawn to catch a 6am domestic flight. other than the stench, i would reccomend this room for a transit stopver because of the convenience and close proximity to the airport

we stayed at the hotel for 1 night only but were impressed enough for such 2 star hotel. it totally worth 3 star standard should there were a swimming pool and masssage service :) room is spacious compared to other standard room of similar hotels. very clean, well furnished. location was good, near the tan son nhat and tan binh area.

Agoda ate my long message, and too tired to write another one. Lets just say the location isnt great, as nothing is in D10. Its also over 5km from anything interesting to travelers. But if you're looking for relaxation, this is a great place. Its a good local area, so you can find cheap anything, friendly people, still some good places to eat, and a supermarket and local market nearby. Quiet interesting side roads, a great park and stadium not too far, maybe 1-2km. The family that runs the hotel is great. I ate with them a few times, the english is decent.

1. The car to pick me up from the airport did not appear so had to call. It appeared that in the airport worked special people to help tourists. They walk around the pick up area. So one of them helped me to call to the hotel and talked as the receptionist in the hotel does not speak English that well. The car to pick me up comes within 7 minutes. 2. The hotel room is ok to stay for 1 night but there are ants everywhere. The water is not provided but you can buy it at the receptionist's for 10 000 dong. The dollars can be changed over there as well but 1 dollar for 20 000 dong not for 22 200 for the time of my arrival. The staff is very friendly so somehow I managed to explain that I want Vietnamese beef noodle soup and the lady wrote the name of it to me and send me to the nearest food shop which is the second shop if going to the right when facing the hotel entrance. The dish costs 25 000 dong. 1 bottle of cola is 10 000 (at the hotel). The wi-fi was good. In the room there were tooth brushes but there was no toothpaste. The taxi to the airport cost 2 dollars but the driver made such a suffering face, not insisting, like I would safe his life if give him 1 more dollar that I just gave 3 what mde him extremely happy. The ride take 5 - 7 minutes.

i love to come back and stay in this hotel again. very nice staff and the owner. he do give the best service he can by giving me a city tour. free airport pick up. the hotel staffs do help the clients whatever you want, even if you ask them to go with you and look for some places where to find souvenirs.

I chose this hotel for its location (near the Tan Son Nhat airport)and I'm happy I did that. I can walk from the hotel to the airport and vice versa. The room is beautiful, clean, well equiped, a bit small. The staff was nice, helpful and friendly. I recommend this hotel.

the quality is quite good. what would improve the odor in the room. hospitality and support staff, very good.

Facilities are good, AC works, has a fan, how shower, good bed, small fridge, TV and a small desk. It's not in the best of conditions but it all works properly. Likewise the papered walls show signs of wear but it's otherwise clean. Mattress was good as were the pillows, linens and towels. As for location, it's about 15'm walk from the airport so a tuk tuk should be around R3500 with is less than $1 if you use grab. There are several restaurants around but know that this is not a touristic place and there is little else close by. Last, be aware that the staff doesn't get a word of english, the day guy was friendly and the night lady a tad antipathic.

That was our first visit to Vietnam, we arrived late, so we had to find a place for 1 night. This hotel is only 1 km from airport. Guy at reception is very friendly, his level of english is enough to answer for almost all questions. About room: clean, nice, with everything you need and even with huge window. It was no hot water, but that water we had, was good enough for shower. There is a WiFi there, but password didn't work at all our devices. So if you need just a place to sleep and take shower for very cheap price - that place is for you.

We had an early morning flight so we opted to check-in at Venus Hotel, then checked-out at 10AM. We got a family room that has 3 beds. In terms of value for money, we give it 5 stars. It was the better option rather than waiting at the airport to wait for the flight, which is uncomfortable. The only staff we've dealt with were the 2 guy receptionists and they were ok. Except that the other guy from the evening shift had quite difficulty communicating but both of them are nice. Check-in was breeze, the same as checking out. The best of it all is having a free airport transfer, which was convenient. If only I saw Venus much earlier, we could've booked our first night here, prior to transferring to District 1. The only challenge we encountered was finding a good spot for a meal. The cafe at the ground floor only serve drinks and the food spot around were closed as they open later in the day. However, there's supposed to be a mall nearby, but we opted not to go out anymore.

This is a low budget, low-thrills hotel but an excellent one in this category. We chose it as a stop over for a few hours between flights. It is about 10-15 min from the airport, which was minimally priced by taxi to get back and forth. We were delighted to get early check-in without any questions (ie: around 9:30am). Just next to the hotel was a decent pizzeria or a mall with even more simple food choices. I really liked the staff here though. They looked after our luggage for 5 days without any fuss and were always friendly / smiley. The rooms were exceptional value for the price, with 2 double beds and ample move around room. A definite return choice should I ever be in HCM again and need a stop-over. Super!

I had a great experience while staying in Xuan Truong Hotel. First is the cleanliness and comfort of the room. Next is the service that the staff rendered to me. And of course the price, they have very low room rate which is very important to budget conscious traveller like me. I like also their choice of furnitures, compared to other hotels with the same rate. Another big factor is their location, the place is very accessible to transportation whether by taxi or by bus. Because of the above reasons, I will surely recommend Xuan Truong Hotel to my friends from the Philippines and from Hanoi who want to travel to Hochiminh City in the future.

Very well-located hotel which is 5' from Tan Son Nhat international airport. New equipment, friendly staff and cosy room made me feel like at home. Besides, the promotional price was very worthy for such a good hotel. I surely will come back.
