    Good”

    Because of many recommendations we ordered a family dinner, but it didn't look like on photos. There were 4 dishes and they were really good, but the portion for 90000 was quite small and the atmosphere at the table was really really weird. It was just us and three young family members which were just watching TV the whole dinner and finished their meal after 5 mins so we felt awkward to eat just by ourselves, so we finished after 5 mins aswell and rather went to sleep. The people didn't talk with us, we tried to have some conversation but we failed obviously. Also there wasn't any free wine as the owner wrote somewhere that there should be wine included. The breakfast was poor for the price (5 crepes with banana or 1 bagette with two fried eggs and 1 piece of cucumber) and egg coffee was very expensive.

    Beautiful but far from the city”

    Transportation to get to this place can be a bit of a problem. The ride from Sapa costs VND$200k + entrance to the village VND$75k per person. What you do not pay for lodging, you end up paying for transportation to the other places. It is a nice place with beautiful surroundings, quiet and relaxing.

    Excellent homestay option in Ta Van, 8 km away from SAPA. ”

    The hosts were very friendly and we almost felt we were at our home. Try not to miss their family dinner where you get acquainted with many nationals and an amazing dinner. On the downside, the road from SAPA to TaVan is under construction and quite bumpy. Overall, the stay was quite pleasant and memorable.

    Eins der nettesten Homestays, das wir während unserer Vietnamreise hatten, da man wirklich die Familie kennenlernen konnte! Der Bungalow war sehr einfach, aber sauber und in einer tollen Lage etwas abseits von Sa Pa town (Taxi erforderlich)! Das Essen im Homestay ist günstig und gut, ebenso wie der organisierte Tourguide! Unbedingt das Familydinner buchen!!
