Wonderful heritage guest house with very concerned and helpful people”
We a family of 5 from India including senior citizens and a child stayed for 3 nights 2 rooms. Came here for Borobudur and parmbanan. The guest house is a Home just like own home. Beautiful heritage house with clean and beautiful heritage ambience everywhere inside the property. Very good people who are concerned for guest comfort and well being. Very healthy breakfast with wide range of options. Tour and travel helpdesk and tips. Convenient location. All pros no cons.

Absolutely loved this place, and would go back in a heartbeat. Very spacious, clean room, with good WiFi. Walking distance from Malioboro. Friendly staff, who were especially nice during the NYE dinner of sate and traditional Javanese snacks; which I hadn't even realized was included in the price! You would be very hard pressed to do as well for the same price in a big hotel. Highly recommended.

The owner, the staff, the place are brilliant. You don't need a pool because you've got a tub in the room. You're smack in the city, but somehow it's all quiet and serene.

We stayed 4 nights here and were truly satisfied. The room was big, clean and with comfortable bedding. It was off peak when we were there but the breakfast served was a lot and tasty too. Nur, the receptionist who could speak English well, was very helpful in giving us advise and directions. The rest of the staff we met were equally friendly. You can easily get a grab from TPGH. It's safe to walk back from Malioboro Street at night.

Lovely place”
Lovely clean big rooms with big bathrooms some even with a bath. A good variety of freshly cooked local food for breakfast with some continental. Within walking distance to Maliborro street, easily get a Grab to Old Town. Room at the front can be a little noisy for light sleepers. Staff very helpful, Nur sorted out a motorbike for us which was delivered at the door, she even changed our day we had pre booked and paid for when we decided to extend our stay at Magelang. Thank you Nur for all your help.

Best guest house for such affordable price !”
I was genuinely surprised at how big and clean the room was. In one house there are several rooms and the ambiance was so homey. It felt like returning to a parent's house during holiday. The price was so cheap but we got a huge bed with nice working AC and private bathroom complete with a bathtub (while most guest house with this price range would be small room with fan and shared bathroom). The breakfast was okay, very limited selection but tasty, so no complain there. The only downside to this place was how thin the walls are. We can hear people's chit chatting, noise from the road and also there is a mosque nearby and the prayer could be heard too clearly to our room.

Helpful staff, value for money”
A bit hard to find but within city center. Around 10-15mins walk to Malioboro area. My Grab and Gojek drivers got lost due to Google map location. The male night staff was extremely helpful especially when I had a hard time contacting my tour driver. Room is a bit old but very spacious. The air con has problem cooling the entire room but will get cool after a few hours especially whe not staying at daytime. Value for money as it comes with average breakfast spread.
