The best Homestay/Hostel in SE Asia”
Hands down my best experience at a hostel/homestay! The host, Ly, was very nice. Beautiful garden to eat a wonderful breakfast in every morning. Perfect proximity to town, especially with the free bicycles for use. I ended up changing my plans to stay longer at Terra Cotta Homestay and Hostel because it felt like home and after a couple of months on the road a taste of home is exactly what I needed. Ly is like a second mother, very caring, and she looks out for her guests going above and beyond for each one of them.

Amazing ”
Terra Cotta is without a doubt the nicest place I have stayed in South East Asia. Longly is a welcoming, caring and helpful host and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Hoi An town is a bit too far to walk, I used the bicycles provided and it took about 10 minutes. The distance from the town means it is a very quiet and local place to stay. Also next door to the Pottery Village which is definitely worth a look. Immaculately clean, lovely bathrooms and dorm bedroom, comfortable bed and air con. Breakfast every morning was delicious and Longly makes the best coffee! I enjoyed my stay here so much, it really felt like a home from home. I was sad to leave but happy I had such a wonderful time and host.

It is located in a lovely area, just next to beautiful Terra-cotta park.Though it's far from the ancient town, the hostel offers free bikes. You can actually go anywhere by bike. The owner is very kind and helpful. The room is good too but if they can offer female dorms, it will be better. It's really embarrassing for me to sleep in a room with two guys.

The perfect homestay!”
Ly is without a doubt the best host I have stayed with, at any point in my 3 months in Asia. She is kind, her food is amazing and she is so, so helpful. The location is out of Hoi An town, but I found it perfect - the village is a pottery village, you can look around at what the locals are making & selling and you MUST visit the pottery museum (literally on the corner of Ly's street), it's completely charming and was actually my personal favourite experience in Hoi An. I stayed in the dorm, the room and bathroom were clean and shared areas of the house are lovely. I can't recommend this homestay highly enough. Oh, and Ly's family are lovely, too!

Fabulous accommodation ”
Out of 7 weeks around south East Asia. This has been my favourite accommodation. We were greeted warmly by Lee, who was a wonderful host, very happy to put us up, she gave us good advice about what to see helped us organise ourselves and travel. The location is just out of hoi an. But for us was perfect, it's quiet and the use of the bikes ment we could cycle to hoi an in 10 and a further 20 min to the beach. I would recommend anyone to stay here and I hope everyone has as good an experience as we did there.

Wonderful Local Homestay Experience!!! ”
I really enjoyed my stay here at the homestay, the family, children & doggies were so pleasant. Especially Ly, she was so helpful in everyway possible. Her english was amazing & i'm super grateful for that. Booking tours & transportation with her was easy, quick & cheap! The location was perfect for what I was looking for. Away from the loud horns & hustle of the city yet a 10 min free bike ride away. I felt safe even late at night riding back.. I checked out the pottery village which was just next door, jogged in the mornings through rice fields, rode the bike 20 min down to An Bang a few times, checked out the mini market close by to buy fruits & just relaxed in a small local village for a while! Rooms (I stayed in dorm) were great & clean, wifi worked perfectly, hot showers, quiet, lockers in room, breakfast was Vietnamese coffee with choice of pho or veggie omelet & bread. I'm so happy I chose my homestay to be here as it was a peaceful authentic experience! Thank you Ly & family!!

Really Nice homestay with a lovely family. A good place to take a rest in the garden and the dorm and bathroom is in a really good state. The bathroom could use a bit more cleaning sometimes, But overall I am really satisfied. The lady tried to make it comfortable for you and took care of the buses you wanted to book. The family is working hard every day to make sure that you Will have a good stay in Hoi An.

A little bit puy of the way but very nice for peace and quiet. I only stayed one night and would have stayed much longer if I didn't have another place already booked. The host (I'm sorry I can't remember her name) was very friendly and welcoming of me in her home. She even upgraded my room at no charge since I was there one night and would have had to share a dorm with all men. She was very informative about Hoi An and thoughtful to make sure I Knew how to get around and be safe. I would stay here again and recommend other people do as well. The garden was lovely to lounge in and she also offered free bikes to get around and into town which was a short ride away along the river. Was comfortable place for a so woman to be. Thank you

The best homestay I've stayed at in SE Asia! Though it is out of the way, the bike ride is pleasant and Ly does everything she can to make you feel at home. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in Hoi An!

This is the best place i've stayed at on my journey so far. Owner is amazing and will help you in any way she can. She even helped me book a flight ticket to Hanoi. Located about 3km outside the old town but you can borrow a bicycle for free so that's not a problem at all. Rooms clean and big with a really nice bathroom. Can only say good things about this homestay, and with the price it's a bargain.

Marvelous place to stay in Hoi An. Ly is a great host, she's nice and helpful and speaks very good English. She took over my visa extension, quick and easy. Everything looks spotlessly clean in this place. Its only drawback might be its location, bit far from oldtown, but a cycling distance trough a safe, well illuminated road. I'd strongly recommend Ly's place.

This is my favourite place that i stayed at in Vietnam. Ly was an amazing hostess she was so kind and really helpful with everything, she will make you feel at home straight away. There were some lovely people staying there, the place has a good atmosphere. The breakfast was very delicious and the room was clean and comfy. It is quite far from town but there are free bikes you can use to get there in about 20 mins. If you want somewhere that feels like home then i'd definatly recomend this place.

We loved Hoi an. The guesthouse is ten minutes cycle from town which we liked as it was very quiet but close enough to all the main attractions. Our host Li was great and really helpful. We would recommend the guesthouse to anyone

Great host but construction works at the moment”
This really felt like a homestay because there's only dorm and one double room on the upper floor of the family's house. Longly is a great host. She called a mechanic to have my motorbike fixed and she got my trousers sewed which I've tried to get done for weeks. Thanks so much for that! But apart from that the place isn't social. During my stay, there were 2-3 guys staying with me but that felt a bit awkward. And since they are building 6 more rooms, there are construction works which start at 7 am and are very noisy. That was very annoying.
