Nice low key resort”
Large room well equipped, lighting could be better in bathroom. Garden setting. Well kept grounds. Breakfast was underwhelming. Location perfect. Walk to restaurants, bars, and beach .

Outside was nice but the room itself is dark, dingy and outdated. Bathroom is dirty. Staff was nice and helpful, especially the receptionists.

nice resort but service can be a lot better”
the resort has a nice feel to it, room is luxurious where we had a nice big room w a day bed. however, the housekeeping service is really bad. they do not clean properly but still leaving our empty drink bottles in our room and at our balcony. We said to clean our rooms once every 2 or 3 days but even on the third day, they only made our beds but didn't give us fresh towels. We had to constantly tell them what to do, to take out trash, to give us clean towels! They took our dirty towels and left us with no towels! The service is really bad. And we had to fry our own eggs at breakfast as there was no one around to assist. So pay for breakfast and make it yourself!! Damn! The breakfast was really not great and same thing every day! In the end, we paid for our breakfast but skipped it and went to have breakfast by the beach everyday! So, better to just stay in the room and not pay for breakfast. Resort is not smack on the beach but a short walk away.

Hotel cancelled booking”
Arrived at the hotel just to be told the room was not available due to requiring renovations / repairs. Was not notified by text or e-mail before arrival. Was led across the street to a hotel we did not enjoy but stayed for 1 night. We moved on our own the following day and the Terrace Hotel paid for our taxi as an apology.. One positive note was the receptionist (Ms. V???) went out of her way to make sure we had a place to stay and she apologised many times for the inconvenience.

Review for Sea Sense Resort”
This is a review for Sea Sense Resort as we were transferred from Terrace Resort which was having pool renovation (pool was leaking just a couple of days before we arrived). Sea Sense Resort is owned by the same owner and located about 20-25mins from Duong Dong town. It's the kind of exclusive resort with villas. We were given a free upgrade to 2 beachfront villas which was great and return airport transfers as well as transfer from Terrace Resort to this one. Sea Sense Resort has nice facilities. We enjoyed the 1 hour free canoe. They offered free rental of bicycles too but we didn't have time. Villas were spacious enough with a balcony and hammock. It was nice to hear the sounds of the sea and waves. Sunset was nice too. Room was furnished with a King bed and a double size day bed so it can fit a family with 2 children. Bathroom was a bit dark but understandable as they used solar panels as power source. Buffet breakfast was decent and varied each morning. There was a pool table at the bar next to the swimming pool. We did play and had great time a couple of nights there. Overall, this resort is suitable for couples & honeymooners as it's quiet and relaxing. It may not be suitable for group of friends who like to be near to town.

Relaxing stay in pretty new resort”
This resort has spacious, new, well equipped rooms set in pretty gardens with a lovely pool. This resort offers great value for money when you see how much you're getting for what you pay elsewhere on Phu Quoc, and I speak from first hand experience! The staff are friendly and helpful and the only thing to note is that this resort isn't directly on the beach. It's just a few minutes walk to the beach and there are a decent amount of bars and restaurants nearby.

Fantastic and relaxing stay”
We had a great stay in terrace resort, very clean and large room, comfortable bed, terrace sitting, large clean bathroom, we loved the pool, very nice and clean, nice garden, very cool staff, helpful! not bothering staff, highly recommended! close to the beach but not right on the beach (4 minutes walk), very delicious breakfast, highly recommend if you want to relax and stay in calm and clean and comfortable resort!

Lovely rooms and walking distance to beach”
good value for money, the beach is only 5 min away. Lots of restaurants around, both great high-end(la veranda hotel) and local sea food places (by the main road). Sun beds can be rented on the beach for 150k vnd/day. Phu Quoc in itself is alright, a little bit trashy. Not the best beaches in this part of Asia

Nice hotel. ”
Our stay at the Terrace Resort was great. Our rooms were spacious and very clean with a view of the pool. It was relatively quiet and staff were very helpful. Not on the beach, but less than a 5 min walk will get you there. A handful of restaurants within steps of leaving the hotel and about a 5 min taxi ride to the night market / town. 15 min taxi ride from the airport (or 100K VDN) Morning breakfast was excellent, but selection dwindles later in the morning as expected.

We had a fab time at Terrace resort. a wonderful pool outside our room. friendly staff. we had our room serviced each day and fresh towels, for our room and the beach. the resort was quiet and peaceful with well kept gardens.

A good place to stay and worth the money ”
This is my second visit to this resort and this time I have book 4 rooms for my wife families. I like this resort is because of the quietness in the night. The location is good and it take 5 minutes ride to the market. This year, the breakfast is much better than last year. There is only one thing I don't like is that the wifi keeps disconnecting when in the room. If you are visiting Phu Quoc for the first time. I recommend this hotel to stay.

Enjoyed it very much. Small niggles that the pool is small and there are too few loungers + it is not a beachfront property and so there were no hotel loungers on the beach either. But overall, we enjoyed it. My wife was ill when we arrived and staff were fantastic with her. Phu Quoc is a great little island.

We had a fantastic time at The Terrace. The accommodation was of a high standard and the owners and staff were both friendly and helpful. Great location for bars and restaurants, and only a 3 minute walk to the lovely beach. Overall we would highly recommend this resort to friends and family.

cute, nice and new”
The hotel is completely new, a few rooms, we get I think the cheapest breakfast include, and the room was great, big, clean, really really nice. terrace and garden view. The pool was great and beautiful, Staff really nice and worry about you. They would help you on anything they can. Beach was 5 minutes walking. The hotel is in the middle of restaurants and a few little shops. really great. I would stay again in it.

Relaxing stay in a pretty resort”
I stayed 4 nights in standard bungalow and enjoyed my stay a lot. The resort is small and quiet and the room was pretty, cosy and clean. Nice pool and beautiful garden, also short walk to the beach. Reception staff was friendly and helpful, however the cleaning staff seemed to be quite lost. On my first day I did not have any coffee, second day I got coffee but the soap was taken away. Third day there was soap again but the second pool towel had disappeared and no coffee once again.. I would suggest a short check list for the cleaners to make sure everything is in order in the room. Minor things anyway, all in all it is a very nice resort and can be recommended. I would be happy to stay again.

Not knowing just what to expect after our last visit to the island 4 years ago we were very pleased with this nice resort in a good location. Helpful staff, a nice large and clean room with all the facilities needed so no complaints. Were were located at rhetoric back of the hotel away from the pool. I would request that on our next visit, and we will, for a room with a pool outlook. Well located for the beach with a village location, town is only a short taxi ride away. We will definitely return again.

It's not extravagant, but it's a very good resort for the cost. Room was well-kept and had all the amenities we needed. Very friendly staff and excellent customer service. Breakfast was good. Pool was clean. Just a few minutes walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again.
