Find hotels near Tha Sala in Chiang Mai, Thailand

The resort is heritage style that looks like an old temple with olden day architecture. It certainly is amazing. Listed as one of AMEX's Fine Hotels and Resorts which is why I booked it and the price was lower going through Agoda. The staff is very friendly, typical of a 5 Star Resort. We had to pay extra for a roll away since we had a 4th person in the family (price was $110 USD which included the buffet. ) Buffet was very nice although I wish they had more international selection such as Indian food or other ethnic food versus Thai/Chinese/US. Location is decent. About 15mins by taxi or Grab Ride Share to Night Market, which is where we spent a lot of time. 45minutes from various attractions such as Elephant Sanctuary, Doi Suthep Temple among other places. We didn't try the food at resort restaurants as they were over priced, or priced according to 5 Star resort prices. I would recommend staying closer to the Night Market area to be close to the action is.

Really nice place! Staff is super attentive and knew who we were. We had free rides to and from airport. They are bit further out from the older city about 20 minute drive but they have free transportation at 2 points of the day to get there but you have to find your way back. It's honestly so cheap anyway. We uber'd to and from the city everyday and it was only about 4 dollars canadian each way. (Make sure you get a tgai simcard at the airport, makes life so much easier) It's nice because it's not near all the touristy areas so you can get away from it. We always had the pool to ourselves so it was pretty relaxing.

It was our first time to Thailand, and they had a driver waiting for us as soon as we got out of the airport. So a gold stars for making our trip that much more stress free. All the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Security walked us to our room each night (not because he needed to, but just because he wanted to), Nat (who I believe is the owner) checked on us every day and provided us with whatever we needed (even calling local businesses for us and arranging a driver, which you need in order to get into Chaing Mai). Very clean and in a relaxing scenery (a small waterfall, wood buildings, ponds with coy fish, plants/flowers, sparkling blue pool). It was quiet at night and was the best sleep we had in Thailand. Breakfast was also amazing and we felt like royalty there. I would definitely book here again, and will recommend it to anyone traveling in this area.

We booked two rooms in this resort for a long public holiday away from Bangkok to spend a few days in Chiang Mai. This boutique resort is located in the nature but yet close enough to the city to enjoy the old town and attractions. Uber are easily available there to get out and back in. The resort is family run and the people are all very friendly and do their best to make your holiday great! The prices of the minibar items are similar to those in a 7-11 in Bangkok and drinks and snacks cost very little. The food to order is also very good and we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners in the garden. We can definitely recommend this resort!

The front desk staff were exceptional in their customer service skills. They fulfilled everything we asked for and more. Agoda misled us about the hotel facilities and we ended up blaming the hotel staff for not providing these facilities. The hotel staff tried in every effort, every day to compensate for this. They did go above and beyond our expectations. We highly recommend this hotel. Great for families and relaxation. We do hope Agoda reviews their hotel facilities better in the future.

I had to come to town to renew my visa early the next morning. This hotel was close enough to the Immigration office that I was able to walk there (less than 20 minutes). I was very impressed!

We stayed in Calla Lily Boutique hotel over the Christmas period we were looking for an affordable hotel with a pool so that we could just relax over Christmas which still had places around so we could eat out of the hotel. We found the Calla Lily which ticked all the boxes so we could relax, this hotel is a bit out of town but not too far if you have some transport, we just stayed at the hotel and ate at the restaurants around. We did find that there were quite a few open during the day but a lot of them shut early so we just went out earlier, the first night we had left it late but found a Halal Sushi restaurant which really reasonably priced. The hotel staff were very helpful and attentive to our children especially Bo who may have been the manager. The hotel is small and well styled which is just enough to give it that boutique feel, they offer a very basic breakfast of Thai rice or toast. The rooms were clean enough, my only advise would be to clean with more attention and to keep up with the maintenance to ensure this stays a well styled boutique hotel.

I very much liked my stay at the Rawisara but would probably stay somewhere in the old city centre next time as the hotel is quite far away from the city and transfer is very complicated because most of the taxi and tuk tuk drivers refuse to travel all the way to Tha Sala. The hotel offers a transfer to the city for 200 baht at any time which worked out well but getting back was complicated at times.

We stayed here a few nights. Check in was quick, staff was always friendly and extremely helpful. There was hot water for coffee and tea available at reception and a great seating area in front as well. The room was extremely spacious, clean, fridge and A/C worked great. The only downside to it was the bed which felt like we were sleeping on the floor, and the noise of the business underneath our room opening their business door every morning. The pool was clean and perfect (we spent two days in there and were the only ones using it), the gym was small (as per pictures) but had enough to enjoy a good workout, and the wifi worked great at the hotel. Location wise, it's about 120 THB by Uber to the typical tourist area. It is located off a busy road/highway, but there's a restaurant about one min walk across the street which had delicious food for cheap, and there's a mall about five mins walk which has everything you can need (movie theatre, supermarket, stores, and other restaurants nearby). All in all, was a perfect getaway for a few nights of relaxation!

It is such a nice place to stay at. We had a great time and made a lot of memories. The environment is very delightful and also has street foods around. And the hotel staffs seem nice and helpful. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a big problem when we tried to check into this hotel late at night after our flight arrived-- no one was at the desk to check us in! We had to find an alternate place to stay for the night. In my opinion, there should always be a staff person available if guests need assistance or have an emergency. This is something the hotel should fix. However, the hotel staff & Agoda handled the issue very well and we were refunded for the first night. Once we checked in the following day, our stay was very pleasant and everything went well. This hotel was a great value-- nice big suite room. The location was great for our needs, but you should know that the hotel is NOT located in a tourist area and would be very difficult for a taxi driver to find. Parking is very limited.

Definitely one of the best places we stayed in South East Asia. The owners offer home cooked meals on their menu, and even offer fruits picked straight out of their own garden. The location is outside the city center, which is perfect if you're looking for something quiet and relaxed in the nearby countryside. Mrs. Nong was extremely helpful in booking us a good cab driver and helping us plan our time in Chiang Mai. The staff were some of the friendliest people we met in Thailand, which is really saying something since the Thais are incredibly nice and hospitable. We would definitely stay here if we came through the area again, it's the best place to stay to recharge after a long day of traveling or taking in the sights.

the guesthouse is a 10minutes drive away from chiang mai. the taxidriver had trouble finding the place (200thb from airport) but we made it. the rooms are great and have qute patios with seatin. for breakfast they offer ricesoup which i really liked with nescafe. meeting kwang and ote was a wonderful experience, they are very helpful, fiendly and really great people to talk to. go meet them!

Stayed at this place because had to do things near by and in the city. The rooms are spacy and well decorated. Everything was working well. The owner and the stuff were friendly and helpful with information. There was no breakfast available but free coffee. There is a parking space just in front of the place. Easy to get South if you have to continue you travel.

Nice, clean, a bit out of the way of tourist attractions, but close to big C and Makro. The mattresses were not mattresses, extremely hard like lying on floor. We asked for extra blankets to make it more comfortable.

Good price for a really big and clean room. The shower has an entrance from the balcony. It´s a little bit far from the city but you can enjoy night market, which is not so far from the hotel.

This B&B is one of the best I have stayed in. The value for the money is excellent, super clean, and the master bedroom on the second floor has everything you need. Staff is very polite and helpful. Morning breakfast is served at 7:30 and includes juice, coffee, water, toast, eggs, salad, and assorted fruits. The owner, Kuan and her mom, are amazing and provide exceptional customer service and will do everything to accommodate your needs. They make the difference! Marked the location as good and not excellent because the B&B is a bit far from downtown and you will need to coordinate transport, ranging from 150 to 400 THB (depending on the service and time of the day). Not everybody will know the address so it can be a bit challenging at times; it's part of the adventure though. The B&B has lots of trees, plants, flowers, birds, koi fish, and a couple dogs (well behaved and don't bother the guests). Please use mosquito repellent while having breakfast. All in all, highly recommended!

A resort in a small scale, which is perfect for privacy and tranquility. Staffs are absolutely helpful and friendly. Nice room, nice environment. Totally worth the money spent.

You need a car to get to this hotel and there is no food available there but there is lots in the general area. The lady who owns the hotel is super nice and will do whatever she can to make your stay comfortable. Not much parking unfortunately.

Nice clean condo. Excellent pool for laps. Nice little cafe restaurant and friendly staff. The bad. Interesting that these types of condos with mandatory use of key with elevator lifts and door entry do not issue more than one key card upon check in. If your party splits up, your essentially locked in or out of your apartment until the other person arrives. We were issued another key after calling but seems like common sense would be to automatically issue upon check in. Mall is directly across the road but not very safe crossing the road. No shuttle service exists. Uber works though. Also, this is a small one bedroom. Works but a studio would almost seem more roomier.

It was a really pleasant stay at The Sali Kham, although it's a bit distance from the city centre but everything there make everything totally worth it. The place itself is eye opening! It's beautiful and quite and we had really wonderful night sleep there during our stay. This is definitely the place you should stay! Love it much!
