We loved Thai Dee Bungalows; it was just what we were looking for. Value for money, well located, well maintained and well managed. As a couple of middle aged business world dropouts on a 4-month backpacking adventure, it ticked our boxes. Having decided to stay in Haad Rin which is party central around Half Moon and Full Moon, we did not want to be too close to the beach and the doof doof. Thai Dee is ideally located on the main road into Haad Rin and it is only a short walk in either direction to Sunset Beach and Sunrise Beach and the town centre. Close enough but far enough away to be very peaceful. There are several laundry facilities directly outside Thai Dee plus a 7/11 store about 50 metres from the entrance and there are several restaurants nearby. There was a small one we particularly liked on the right hand side of the road next to the motorbike repair shop if you were walking to Haad Rin town. We also ate regularly at Ladino which is in town near Chicken Corner. Thai Dee itself provided very clean and comfortable bungalows, with comfy beds, cold water showers (quite adequate in the heat) strong fan, and the option of air-conditioning for an extra fee (we did not need it in February). Most of the bungalows are raised up so you get nice breezes and the clothesline on the balcony was appreciated. Thai Dee has a few outdoor tables and chairs down by reception along with a communal fridge and free tea and coffee facilities. Beer and water can also be purchased at Reception for the same price as the 7/11. One of Thai Dee's greatest assets is it's Manager, Kim. Kim looks after bookings and reception and makes sure everything runs smoothly. He is a a really nice guy who goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. We really enjoyed meeting him. We also enjoyed the couple of fluffy pet rabbits that hop around the garden, the cute newborn chicks that have free roam of the place and we even became accustomed to the rooster crowing at various times of t

Fantastic hideaway in busy Haad Rin”
Thai Dee is an AMAZING place to stay. It's situated in Haad Rin, which is nothing but a tourist trap. It is in Haad Rin the full moon parties are held, which probably says it all. However, Thai Dee Garden Resort makes you forget all about busy streets and buckets of vodka; the bungalows are beautiful and the hotel area is clean and quiet. Moreover, the staff at Thai Dee is absolutely outstanding. Even if you don't like Haad Rin, this place is really nice!”
For me, this was the second time Koh Phangan. The first time, in 2016, we tried a few places and Thai Dee Garden was our favorite. We actually like the north part of the Island a lot more, but we couldn't find a nice affordable place to stay there. We like touring around on a motorbike, so it doesn't really matter where we sleep. Thai Dee Garden has clean bungalows with attached private bathroom. You can use the fridge and make yourself a cup of coffee in the common area. There are a lot more bungalows then the first time, but you can still enjoy lots of different butterflies, birds and lizards in the garden. The shower is cold, but you'll get used to it and the WiFi has it's ups and downs, but the bungalow is perfect. The music in Haad Rin got louder, so you will be able to hear it a little at night. Pan I do recommend this place and book it again when we go back to Koh Phangan!

Wonderful stay! ”
I only planned to stay at Thai Dee Resort for a few nights but I ended up falling in love with my little hut and stayed for much longer. The staff at the front are so helpful and accommodating - also very friendly! I was able to book my ferry to Koh Tao and a nice tour around the island through them. I also loved that I could order food from a nearby restaurant for delivery to my hut. They have the menu displayed out front. Very convenient during rainy season! Overall, my stay was great. A nice quiet place slightly away from the craziness of Haad Rin, but still close enough to be within walking distance. A little gem!

Very nice, confortable and very helpful staff”
Rooms are very cleaned and nice, all surrounded by a big garden. The staff is very helpful and capable. They speak very good English, they also printed us the boarding passes of our flights and this helped a lot! We have been delivered a new scooter at the hotel with no extra costs. Next to the reception there is a terrace with free coffee and tea at any time. So good and pleasant staying for a great price !! I would definitely suggest it to everybody is coming to Koh Phangan !!! Thanks Thai Dee!!!

All round fantastic place”
Going to keep this review short as it's not my first time here. Great place, great staff, basic and clean bungalows, handy location yet pretty peaceful. Thai Dee serves all my needs nicely at a great price. Will continue to come back here for my future trips to Koh Phangan. Thanks guys as per usual and see you next time.

No Complaints”
The Thai Dee is not a 5-star resort and is not right on Haad rin beach. However, I dare to say to is no better value for your money hotel in Koh Phangnan. Thai Dee is a 5-10 minute walk from the entrance of the Full Moon Party yet far enough and tucked away so that when you're ready for a break, and you will be, you can retreat there and not have to hear the pumping techno constantly. Kim, the gentleman who runs it, is awesome! Always willing to chat and help out when we needed. There is a safe place right outside Thai Dee to rent a moped or have your laundry done that won't try to scam you. However, you will need to leave your passport to rent a moped. A pretty typical thing we found anywhere in Thailand. If you don't need to stay in a lap of luxury and want a peaceful place close to the party beach then we would recommend it for sure.

Amazing stay”
We loved Thai Dee. The bungalow was very nice and perfect for the two of us. It was very close to Haad Rin so easily can walk to the Full Moon party. The staff was nice and helped us book a taxi very early the next day. The shower was cold but otherwise fine. Great stay, highly recommend!

Loved our stay! ”
We were welcomed by the owner with a smiling face and cold bottled water. The room was clean and spacious. The atmosphere at Thai Dee is super relaxing. There are friendly chickens and rabbits running around the garden. There is a kettle and free coffee/tea at an outdoor communal area right by the reception. The owner was so lovely, he was a very warm, smiley man who was always happy to help. Would definitely return to Thai Dee!

The bungalows are simple and clean and the resort feels homely and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I came for only 3 days initially but extended my stay because it was perfect for me. I think it is great value for money.

Very comfortable beds, great manager”
This is a quiet and peaceful place within walking distance from Haad Rin beach...Kim, the manager, is a lovely man...he speaks English very well, which is quite rare in Thailand, and is polite, accommodating, extremely professional, and a very experienced diver! The beds are very comfortable, another rarity in Thailand...the area is peaceful and green and the bungalows have windows all around so you can sleep comfortably without needing air con....wifi is spotty though...no hot shower. Overall I had a great stay at Thai Dee and very much enjoyed hanging out with Kim!

Nice staff, nice garden resort, very basic rooms but clean, just a little bit worn down. 10 min to a bad beach, 15 min to a nice beach (haad rin) and 20 min to a very nice and remote beach (leela beach). Can definetly recommend, we stayed not during full moon.

A hidden gem”
This place is a hidden gem in the Haad Rin area. The bungalows are a decent size and clean, with a nice patio and quiet surroundings. The owner is a great guy as well. 3 minute scooter ride to the beach, without paying the prices usually found in Haad Rin. I will most definitely stay here again.

I just can say that I felt so welcomed here that I was sad when I left. The owners are the sweetest people, always with a smile on their faces. Location is perfect if you want to be close to everything Haad Rin has to offer but on a quiet street so you can just chill after a long day of excursions. Recommended 100%

Nice and quiet and basic bungalows”
I stayed in a basic bungalow for 5 nights in total. I've been to this island many times and this is up there as far as accommodation goes. Cheap price, nice owner and a quiet setting. Enjoyed having a porch to relax on and being 5 mins walk from Haad Rin centre the location is great.
