All basic necessities are there. WiFi was good. ”
Clean bed, pirate type chest nightstand storing compartiment without lock, shared cold shower ok in hot BKK, wet toilet, good WiFi, garden tables and didn't feel over crowded, great location 2 min walk from Khaosan Rd. Value for money. I paid 89 BHT per night.

Good value in great location for good money”
We did not feel safe because anybody can come direct to the house and we had just a padlock on the "poor" doors (you can even see little bit in the room through the gap in the locked doors). But we always have our precious thing on us and during the night also. Staff is friendly and helpful, but it is hard to meet them - but they are online. Front yard looks terrible, but you can sit outside in the shade with the free coffee and tea!

A quiet place very close to Khoa San Road”
The place is a bit difficult to find due to lack of signs on the street. It is located between shops in a small street. Once there you might not find anyone, but we contacted the owner on fb (all the contacts are listed in the reception) and he promptly answered us. The place is pretty quiet and calm considering it is really near one of the busiest and loudest places in the city. The room was warm but nice and clean with a fan and a mosquito net. Basic toilets and showers.

Uncomfortable and inconvenient”
Very basic room - was locked with a padlock. Bathrooms were down a flight of stairs from the rooms. Uncomfortable mattress directly on the floor. Staff were only present on site rarely in my experience - if I wanted something I'd have to ring the phone number given at the front desk.

it looks old and not dirt. but if you look closer, you can see gray baldachin near you face, can find a lot of long asian hair in your bed. hot water is turning off when you are taking a shower.

Hi, I am a low budget bacpacker but this is unacceptable. The sheets and pilow case was used, they didn't clean it. The towels with stains. I found insects in the bed. Is very neat to khaosan road but I prefer walk 5 minutes than have this level of dirty. And very noisy in the morning. Is first time I don't recommend a hostel.

I booked 4 person room and got located in 6 person. They dont have 4 person room anymore. On the doors to room is information about free breakfast what is also not true

Sadly the pictures don't show it as it is now. Place is neglected and dirty. Staff nice but hardly to be seen. Good Wifi, great location.

The bed was okay, it’s just a mattress on the floor but it was clean. It was very warm in the room and the fan didn‘t help much. It is a 5 minute walk to Khao San Road

Nice staff, bathroom is not so clean (I stayed in a 6 bed drom, just one toilet and one shower), the kitchen is an outside kitchen. You can lock things in a wooden box, so not real lockers.

Absolutely unfriendly staff”
No breakfast included (only tea&coffee) even if they mentioned it in their offer. The father of the owner said there would be a dead cat or dead rat in the shelter and it really stinked! It was so disgusting. They didn’t remove it and we smelled it all the time. Shower and toilets were not really clean but it was okay. We didn’t get a blanket at all. Air con was broken even if there was a time schedule of when the air con should work. And on top of that I had to pay a fine of 100 baht for using the washing machine. I asked one of the girls earlier if I could use the laundry service. She said no in broken English so I thought it would be alright to just do it myself because I don’t need my clothes to be dried and folded. There was no sign saying that you‘re not allowed to use the machine. They got really angry and shouted at me and required to pay even more. I said I would like to give them money (50baht) for water and electricity as it is usual in hostels. I also had my own detergent actually. But they got even more angry and didn’t let me go. I‘ve never experienced such an unfriendly host in my whole travel journey. They treated me like I would have commit a crime there. I‘m sorry to say that but the next time they really need to learn proper English to explain me if it‘s absolutely not okay to use it and they need to put signs on the wall. I don’t even know why it‘s not okay. For them it‘s a good way of making money. For me it was horrible. I can definitely not recommend this place.

I paid for 2 nights and i did not even stay for one night. They don’t allow thai people to stay there. They say it’s their policy but I booked online and it’s not written anywhere that they have this policy. They did not refund me anything. THEY ARE THIEVES! They stole my money! Don’t go there. Don’t encourage this kind of behaviour. They rob people of their money with their “policy”.
