Okay location, staff trying to be helpful,

we stayed in this hotel just for one night and i would say it was okay but won't highly recommend it. i have nothing to complain with the price but the only unpleasant thing is that some vietnamese who lived next door were quite noisy in the hallway at night. it was okay for young people drinking and playing but they shouldn't do it outside their rooms. this is probably not the hotel's fault but still a little annoying. the staff was not fluent in english but tried best to help. location is good, especially near phuong trang office. in total, an okay choice to be considered for budget travelers.

Very close to center of the city

Hotel is quite clear and very close to the center of the city. But traffic at locality is really heavy and it is hard to sleep if your room is oriented to the street. Breakfast is 100% Vietnamese style and for foreigner who are not adopted could be problem. Unfortunately through breakfast time was restaurant overloaded and it was not possible to find a free place. Staff at hotel has very limited knowledge of English was very limited and for the first time in Vietnam staff was not supportive to help you.

      Good room, rude unwelcoming staff.”

Room size, comfort, view of city. Location.

we arrived, the staff didnt speak great english. they weren't welcoming. the guy could see we were struggling with our bags but he didnt help carry anything. he put us in a room that was smoking room. we asked for non-smoking, it smelt bad. they took us to an alternative room which clearly wasnt deluxe and was very small with a view of another roof. we decided to settle for the first room. breakfast was ridiculously early - 6-8am. we only went on our last morning and the staff basically stood in a line by our table and watched us eat. the restaurant seemed to never be open. room service was supposedly up until 11 am !! we went to restaurant one night and it was full of locals eating. we walked in to see if we could eat there, and the man (who just sits there smoking) just shouted no! at us. they shooed us away with no explaination, even though lots of people were eating there! not impressed with the staff, except one young guy who was very polite and made conversation with us well. the cleaning staff tried to wake us up at 7am to clean our room. they came back (afer us saying please come back later), they came back 45mins later. we were out our room by 10am, and we found they hadnt cleaned our room. the same the next day. they also tried to charge us extra in the mini bar.

good hotel catering to local guests”

Room was good but extremely noisy

The hotel was on a very very busy corner and caters for loca guests who arrive in literally busloads in the morning during breakfast time, even to the point that loudspeakers have to be used to advise how to use a buffet. We were the only foreigners at the hotel, the wi fi did not work most of the time nor did the phone or international dialling. People in the area only speak Vietnamese and the walk to the market, foreign type restaurants, banks etc was at least 15 minutes walk. There was no top sheet on the bed. The water was exceedingly hot, breakfast was local. Room service menu was frog and rabbit!

Views from the lobby of the bustling city centre

we stayed for two nights. the first night we were given a room at the back with no view outside. it smelled damp and musty and the grouting around the shower was filthy. my friend thought that the sheets smelled, although they looked clean. the electrical sockets were having off the wall and light switches sparked when we turned the bedside lamp on. we complained and asked to move rooms the next day and were given a front room with a great view, however the windows didn't close properly and it was really noisy.

      Room size, bathroom size, location

Pleasant stay and everything was adequate for our needs. If you need to ask for something, suggest you have a bit of Vietnamese on hand! Request for a top sheet for the bed (ie to go between our bodies and the minkie blanket currently on the bed) caused all sorts of issues due to language barriers. Got there eventually and the rest of the stay was fine.

Not so clean and put me to the wrong lower class”

not that I knew a real one
hair everywhere, staff denied me the room class I payed for, just not honest

Stayed their 2 nights and in the first night I arrived the staff gave me even after 3 times complaining the lower class room. Next day, after seeing into a higher class room when it was cleaned in the morning I could go to my class room after another lot of complaint.

      Not what I expected”

The location is ok for walking to the centre and some sights outside it.

I was quite disappointed about my stay at this hotel.
