Thanh Cong Hotel offers everything you need for a short stay. The price is reasonable and the service friendly. The newly renovated room was clean, quiet and well equipped with satelite TV. Breakfast was included in the price of the room. Thanh Cong Hotel is good value for money for a short stay in the center of Bon Ma Thuot!

Older hotel but mostly friendly and helpful staff”

This hotel is a little 'tired' and one of the recepionists was not friendly. However, the location is good and buon ma thuot is a very pleasant town with very friendly inhabitants. If a foreigner stays at this hotel they will likely be one of the very non-Vietnamese guests, but the atmosphere is pleasant.

Convenient location and pleasant staff”

Our stay at Thanh Cong Hotel was pleasant. The hotel was in walking distance to everything in the city centre. The hotel was a good value for the price. However our room smelled like smoke and cigarettes. The staff was helpful and friendly.

good location for a good value hotel”

On arrival I was intimidated by the long flight of steps, but bellman handled luggage and I found a stairway in the garage with a handrail which made the climb easier and safer. Our first room, a double had a bad smell so they upgraded us at no charge to a bigger triple room with window that was much nicer. This was a government hotel and is a bit run down but now privately run and improving rapidly. The description of the hotel is fantasy. Not a three star, but two, no tennis courts or jacuzzi! Just your basic no frills tourist hotel but a good night sleep with nice breakfast in the morning. Coffee is good here too.

stayed here with a friend, the rooms have only two double beds vice one large single bed so that was a drawback. but the room was clean enough, shower/tub could use improvement but there was hot water, breakfast included, and location was great. no regrets for the price, but a queen bed would've been nice!

Old and overpriced ”

the room is big. however, the hotel is old and the bath tub was disgusting when we arrived. a bit over-priced as we could find another hotel just opposite for half the price the next day.

A stay in Ban Me Thuot”

We were happy to have stayed there. It needs some renovation: the lift doesn't work, tiles in room are cracked and elevated and bathroom a bit run down, but it was clean and staff were very helpful with directions, booking onward transport etc. We would stay there again without any worries, given the low cost and central position.

i did not enjoy my stay in this hotel. room is quite bad condition. air con is old and not working properly. it was noisy and needed a clean up. tv is an old tv, not flat screen. windows cannot be open easily. the sliding glass doors have problems when i tried to open them. bathroom is also very old. needed to be fixed up. face bowl basin has cracks. bathtub is old and yellow in colour. the ventilator fan in the bathroon has broken. there is very little lights on in the hotel from the reception area up to my room. the staff said that they wanted to save money so they do not switch on the lights. all alleys going to rooms are pretty dark. there is a lift but it has broken. so while my stay in this hotel, i used the dark staircases to reach my room. by paying a night for , it is not worth staying here. all guests who are looking at this review please bear in mind, the pictures on this hotel looks pleasant but it is a horror when you see the real thing!

Just OK”

I booked 1 week in advance, but at the night I arrived, they said: don't have any information about my reservation. I showed Agoda booked & printed: "Yeah, I know, but they not inform us, we have no room lef" After they about to move me to another hotel, luckily, the Receptionish lady find there is 1 room left for me. OK with the attidute of 2nd Receptionist lady, but not OK with the reply: "we don't get the inform about your booking"

Thanh Cong Hotel”

This hotel is extremely unexciting and not well priced for it's unexciting-ness. If it had only cost me 10 dollars per night, I might be okay with the lack of shower curtain and dirty tub. Also in general I felt watched by the staff and fellow tourists. I am sure it is a fine establishment that provides great services for locals, but maybe not a great place to stay for foreigners.

Old hotel but room is well maintained. Compared with people at the local market, ca fe shops and stalls, hotel staffs here are less friendly and smily, but basically not bad personarities. Vietnamese milk coffee of this hotel is so nice!

This is 2 star rated hotel, not 3”

We booked this hotel based on 3 star rating, but when we arrived, we found out that this is a 2 star hotel. The hotel is a bit on the old and worn out side.

Tired old girl with dirty drawers”

Ok but pretty average, a bit skin crawly, brekky a bit oily with a chewy bit of bread, staff ok but not super helpful, on a good street with an ice cream shop & internet cafe across street, but this is not a big tourist destination town for Westerners so probably expectations are not high.

non-smoking rooms are just available without window. The receptionist did not understand english at all.
