A good quiet stay in Hue”
This hotel is within walking distance to the Imperial Citadel. It is very quiet and relaxing compared to the hustle bustle and noise of Hue town across the Perfume River. The receptionist speaks very good English and is very helpful with any queries you may have. He or she can instruct the taxi driver in Vietnamese. Taxis are a good mode of travel and many would take you to main scenic attractions at a cheaper price than travel agencies. Breakfast is adequate. There are many local shops nearby that offer authentic Hue delicacies. There is even a fresh coconut drink store at the corner.

le thanh noi hotel is a pleasant place in a nice neighborhood and convenient location to citadel, with a sufficiently large room, very gracious staff and good buffet breakfast. my complaints would be a leaking bathtub drain (common in vn), no safe, and a noisy reception by a nearby loud speaker each morning about 0500. on the balance, well worth the fare.

I picked this hotel because of its location which proved perfect to visit the Hue Citadel. Coffee shop and restaurant, local but nice. A clean pool for the hot days. Easy walk to visit attractions in the Citadel.

Nice stay”
Nice stay in Thanh Noi Hotel even if design of reception and room look a bit like a "State Hotel"; but staff very friendly and location perfect. Maybe the only Hotel located into the Citadelle. We can access easily by walk to the forbidden city and make promenade all around at any time. Very quiet place and large garden for children. Swinmming pool nice if it's not the rainy season.

We enjoyed our stayed at Thanh Noi Hotel. The beds weren't that comfortable and the bathroom was basic. But apart from that, it was a lovely quiet place away from the hustle and bustle, and a short bicycle ride to the attractions.

Nice, large but comfortable hotel, good location”
Very nice place, with comfortable rooms. Some rooms had a light mouldy smell, which went away after running the AC unit for a few minutes (not uncommon in this climate). Rooms are located around garden with swimming pool, some of them a mere 2 meters away from the pool itself. Very quiet in total, with an excellent location near the Old Imperial City of Hue. The only disadvantage: the food at the hotel restaurant is definitely not recommended. Breakfast is below average, and dinner was a waste of money.

Good for what it was”
Hotel was in a good location for visiting the citadel, able to walk in to main part of town. Room was a bit dirty when we first got there, better after housekeeping the next day. Service in the restaurant for lunch was quite slow although not busy. The room was cheap and we were not disappointed just got what we paid for

good but with cockroaches”
The hotel is old, the furniture seems to be as a XIX century, what is good, because you became a "time traveler" but it's a bit bad, because bed is soft. Unfortunately, we found 2 cockroaches in our room, one died when we came to the room, and other alive....the next day. The problem was we were thinking on these cockroaches the full day, thinking if they have stepped over us.... :(

Close to the Sitadel”
We only stayed for one night. We wanted toil visit the Citadel and we did. The hotel wasn't much but it also doesn't cost much. It was one block from the Citadel and that is why yew chose it.

Hotel is run down, needs many improvements, found three dead cockroaches in our one-night stay. Breakfast was awful, worst one we had in Vietnam. The only good thing about this hotel is location, although if we had more time in Hue - I'm sure there are other hotels that are close to the citadel and in much better condition. Stay away!

This hotel is terrible. Sure its cheap but I have stayed in much better places for less money throughout Vietnam. Honestly, the hotel looks derelict. The room is date and dirty. The bath had a massive crack down to the middle, so much so that you could see through it and to the floor below the bath. I'm a travel agent by profession and really surprised that some people are giving this hotel decent reviews. It is not somewhere you will want to go back to after a long day exploring Hue.

There is nothing wrong but there is nothing special. The Parks and the proximity to the Citadel are the best highlights. Showers are not properly arranged but the water was hot.

The stay was very enjoyable and able to sleep well due to quiet location and very good beds. Would recommend again.
