Well done to all the staff at this Wetherspoons. I had read prior to staying some mixed reviews online. All I can say is a big thank you to Bridget on the hotel reception,,,,,, good customer service/hospitality during this difficult time. We ate and drank here and didn't have to wait too long at all for our order. Like the idea of being able to have up to 3 drinks per food order. Staying in the room overlooking the quayside with a great view and huge bed was also a bonus.

The room was large, clean and comfortable but don't rely on a harbour view unless you have specified it. The pub was what we all expect from Wetherspoons, Good food and drink at a good price but the evening meal was ruined for my wife and I by a group of young men who talked very loudly but only seemed to know one word, which begins with f and ends ...ing. Sadly, neither I nor any of the staff were brave enough to confront them.

Finally managed to book 2 nights although on separate booking sites. Really busy hotel with quality rooms. Allow an extra £9 a day to park your car as no on site parking. Only let down was the pub side of the site, first night no food available after 9pm and both nights the top bar area was closed at 9pm. Problems with staffing apparently.

Great location, staff friendly and helpful, maybe a little expensive for not having breakfast included , paying £260 for 2 nights would of expected included, would still recommend as we enjoyed our stay.

We were in a hotel that had building work going on so struggled to get to our room and we were woken up before 7am by work and glass bottles being emptied into a bin

Centrally located right on water ”
Parking is not included and must use car park down the street. This hotel is located above a Wetherspoon pub. I was there on a Monday so I heard no loud music or noise. The pub could offer a discount on food and drinks though for staying with them 😁

Can't fault the hotel or it's location. We only had one meal there, breakfast, it was poor to say the least. Reception staff were very good, bar staff seemed to be too busy messing around to do their job properly, bar/eating areas were not overly busy, but the staff seemed to struggle to cope? We would go again, but clearly there are staff training issues?
