Friendly and good hospitality ”
My experience with The Aston hotel was one of my most satisfying business trips I have stayed. Front desk was very helpful with my booking arrangement, the stay in the hotel do look old. Which I myself find it scary, maybe is due to their lightbulb. Overall, a hotel you can trust when it comes to having a good night sleep.

Hotel with great location but lacking in service”
The location of the hotel is great. It is only about 5 minutes walk from 2 grand shopping centre, GIANT and Tesco. Eating out is not a problem as you can get Japanese, Chinese, Local and Western food all within 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Shopping is also great as the hotel is located within Nilai town and you can get great stuff at a bargain warehouse prices from Nilai 3 shopping area which is about 15 minutes drive away from the hotel.

The hotel located at in the middle of the city and surounded by many public infrastructures such as bank, shopping and also eating place which is easy to reach by walk from hotel. A place very convenient to all shoppers who love shopping especially at NIlai.

Much Much Room for improvement”
Although the Hotel Staff, Lobby and Garden Coffee House were rather pleasant, the rooms, well, the room which I was allocated anyway, was rather disappointing. The shower hose was leaking quite badly . The bathroom itself was dusty and smelly. There was no waste stopper in the wash basin. God forbid, a gold ring might fall into the abyss and be lost forever. Furthermore, the workmanship of repair work done is as if a novice has just started DIY. I was given the initial impression that this was a 3 STAR rated hotel!!!! Someone had fibbed!! Personally, I feel saddened by all this as the Hotel projects a landmark in Nilai, with huge potential. There are a number of universities and higher learning colleges in Nilai, where parents who are bringing their son or daughter to study in Nilai would require a place to stay. Present company included. Not forgetting, there is also the potential foreign and local investments in the industrial sector of Nilai,who will require some hospitality facilities from time to time. There is indeed much much room for improvement!!! However, at the rate which I was being charged for the shoddy room, my next trip to Nilai would most probably see me staying in Seremban instead. A tad further away but maybe I will get a better value for my money. And finally, someone should send the plumber to Room 520, if it has not been done already.

This is our third stay at the hotel. It has proved to be a very good experience. We will definitely stay at the Astor during our next visit and recommend it to our friends .

Great clean and cosy hotel”
The rooms and hotel area were very clean considering that it is only at most a 3 star hotel. All the amenities works and basic toiletries were supplied though you should bring in your own extra toiletries just in case. The locations was also great as they have a 2 huge mall ( Tesco and Giant Hyper-Market) and also no less than 10 restaurants serving Western Fast food to Japanese. All these are located within 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

easy access to airport”
the location of the hotel is centrally good because it 30minutes to airport. the brakfast served buffet although there was not much selection. the room is small and the toilet only has shower. toiletries provided such as tooth brush and colgate. the bed is okey. air-cond well-functioning. quite hotel at night but not in day light. many restaurants around the hotel. Tesco is just a 5mnits walk. Mcd is next to hotel. car park available

Room card key not function. it is a risk for staff to open each time going out. Breakfast same.”
Have to review the breakfast menu. Door card key have to repair fast. Difficult if frequently going out and to get staff to open the room door. Parking too dark. No strèet light near car park. At least pun sensor sportlight ie sportlight fuctioning when detect of people passing by.

Worst hotel experience in disgusting Aston Hotel”
I arrived at nearly 1.00 am due to an earlier work commitment. Continued working in the room until 2.30 am before I got onto the bed. That was when the disgusting conditions hit me: the pillow cases were smelly, they don't look like they have been replaced; the bed-sheet too, without iron crease marks, does not look fresh; the blanket was one big thick piece of material without any duvet-like cover. Luckily the two towels were clean. I used one to wrap around a pillow and the other towel as a makeshift bed-sheet. Luckily too I had brought my own towel for shower. I did not call 'house-keeping' as I don't think I would be entertained at 2.30 am! Other than the awful bed, the bathroom too left a lot to be desired. School hostel bathrooms may even have better finishings than what the hotel had to offer. That one night in Aston Hotel was my worst hotel experience in 2017, locally and abroad. Their website is really misleading. I don't normally write reviews, but this time I have to.

Very rundown hotel”
The hotel is old so everything seemed rundown. Staff were friendly and helpful though and there is an in-house transport so extremely convenient though slightly more expensive. Giant and eateries are just minutes away by foot. The room, however, was run-down and the beds were of poor quality and might have bugs (my friend developed rashes). Bathroom is old and small and furnishing were old-fashioned. TV had few channels and minibar wasn't very cold. Generally, would only recommend to guys who don't mind where they slept and spent few hours in the rooms.
