A world class luxury resort, with great mountain surrounded, great design villa, and i will definitely say Banjaran is Malaysia one of the best holiday place. With friendly staff, and a high privacy with no kid allowed, the resort is not crowded, and quiet, and suitable for couple to have a private time at this great place. The steam cave is an amazing place to have sauna with natural heating, and it is a very special place to visit. There are several advice of improvement for management to consider : 1) the hot dip pool may can clean up the wall and floor after several time as it is a bit slippery. 2) Dr Fish pool can increase the fish quantity Will definitely come back to stay again for short holiday. Everything was perfect! The ambience was so refreshing, the food was so good, the room was very clean, the staffs were very friendly. Upon arrival, I was informed by the staff that they provide maternity pillow and some snacks for me. That small gesture really made me touched because I wasn’t expect any special treatment as a pregnant lady. They also provide parking spaces specially for pregnant ladies so I don’t have to walk much from my car to the lobby. Thank you for making my babymoon trip a memorable one. Surely will come again!

We love the place and the Staff at the Banjaran and all the attention to detail and their total consideration for the comfort and happiness of the guests. This time we decided to try the dinner course at Jeff's cellar and perhaps it was the only point of our stay we felt was lacking. The service was lovely but the food was somewhat flat and did not quite live up to its reviews online. The quality of the room service food we ordered was also a little bit disappointing. Apart from the points mentioned above, everything else was amazing. We will be back again!

A million thanks to the staff and management of The Banjaran. Their attention to detail was exceptional. Thank you for going all out to deliver a surprise birthday cake for me, despite me not mentioning that it was my birthday. I really admire the hard work put into selling us an experience. From the moment we stepped out of the car, we were greeted by the staff who escorted us to check in. I really loved the welcome drink and ice cold face towel. Really refreshing. We even got a tour of the whole place by buggy. The lake villa was magnificent and we enjoyed many dips in the geothermal pool. The steam caves followed by ice bath was my favourite. And I must commend the chef of Pomelo for the most wonderful breakfast. We loved the spa and library too. Overall a superb retreat. Will definitely come back again and try the garden villa. Keep up the good work!

I know, the title seems corny but hey it's straight from my heart. I've had so much love for The Banjaran the first time I visited, that was so many years ago (Pre-pandemic) and I just came back from there again and boy I LOVE it so much. The staffs are super friendly, everything is well kept and clean, Banjaran is definitely a place where you can find peace, because not just it's surrounded by nature, kids below 12 years old are not allowed so the chances of visitors dealing with screeching children are drastically reduced.

25th Anniversary ”
We came to the Banjaran for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating - a special mention to Cheryl, Nadia and Shahril. We got an upgrade for our children so that they could be in the villa next to us and the staff prepared our villa specially with flower petals and “swans” - which was a really nice surprise! We loved the jacuzzi with geothermal hotspring water direct into it (we could control the temperature by adding hot or cold water), not to mention the private pool too! Unlike several other resorts with a “private pool”, we really liked the Banjaran because no-one else can see into the villa; so my wife and daughter didn’t have to worry about not wearing the hijab. The facilities were well maintained, well designed with beautiful teak furnishings. The limestone hills surrounding us were highlighted at night giving a mystic, serene atmosphere accentuated by the mists rising from the hotspring pools. Looking fwd to coming back again!

Worth every penny”
The price might look steep, but honestly, what Banjaran is doing, is maintaining mother earth, they did not destroy to build a hotel there in fact they built around the landscape like caves and hot springs. So it is really good they are maintaining this beautiful property! Lisa checked us in and she was really apologetic that our rooms were not ready and it was 3 pm, she placed us in a waiting area and came to check on us like every 5 mins to give us an update. When our room was ready, Shakti came and gave us a tour and information about the different features and landscape, it was educational and fun to know the place better. And her service was really good. The breakfast was great. LOVEEE the hot springs and then the cold dipping pool. overall this stay was really relaxing and enjoyable. Will be back again!

Banjaran is the place to go if you want to get away from the rat race ( unfortunately phone n internet still available)... Having said that, Banjaran is located in the hills with hot spring water connected to your very own room plus outside area... It boast of a meditation cave which provided calming effect... Also it have a natural steam room courtesy of the hot spring plus a cold water pond to supplement it... all natural i hope .... Bfast was top notch...a la carte buffet..each order was prepared nicely and the taste was splendid... Tried the fried local beehoon... First time tasting "wok Hei" beehoon from a restaurant.... The room having indoor cold wading pool plus warm hot spring water for private use make us not really want to get out of the room... Great view of the trees and natural surrounding... GREAT place

Apart from the breathtaking natural scenery, the landscaping that was well managed and taken care off has definitely added on some plus point to make this place amazing. A great place for a couple retreat. It was filled with serenity and peace, and it was very rejuvenating for both my husband and i. The staffs service was top notch! Excellent guide and services from the entrance, welcome, check in, waiting, in room guide, buggy and check out. Breakfast was unique, healthy and delightful. Quite a few activities and scenic spots to enjoy in the retreat itself. Even inside the villa, the private pool and hot spring is enough to keep you very relaxed and occupied. Will definitely come back again one day.

Perfect place to unwind”
It's about RM 16 from airport to Banjaran by Grab. As they only have limited villas, the place is always so peaceful and calm. All the staff are friendly and very accomodating. For information, Lake villa though big enough cannot place extra bed (for third person) so need to be upgraded to Garden villa. Lake villa is the furthest from reception and facilities- either walk far far or call a buggy (simple dial of number 1). They provide a handy phone in each room, so can bring along outside to call for buggy or reception. Facilities close by 7 pm but you are free to walk around the premise or visit the skybar or Jeff's cellar for drinks. Everything was just perfect in Banjaran. Even had a lovely parting gift from them. Will come again for sure!!!

Misty mountain heaven, with tropical warmth. If you enjoy a spacious private villa with hot tub and plunge pool, access to a great spa in serence surroundings, and looking at limestone mountains and caves while eating great food, spend three days here. The Sky Bar is pleasant - try the Pomelo Mojito - Jeff's Cellar is a world-class dining experience, and the Starstruck outdoor private dining option was a delightful, almost endless barbecue with great salads and sides. This whole place is a dignified Malaysian take on the world's best hospitality and catering, and is also near the charming old city of Ipoh, which itself is worth a couple more days.

Love everything about this place. And the no children allowed rules makes it 10x better. Breakfast was good. Room was cleaned 2 times a day. All free snacks in fridge. The only thing i dont like is that we cannot redeem the tambun lost world ticket if we wanted to go by car ourselves. Need to jungle walk for 10mins. Other than that everything was fine.

highly recommended for couples looking for privacy , beautiful place to relax and rejuvenate .. very quiet , facilities is good with big sauna cave , ice dipping pool and geothermal pool! So beautiful that we sure will come back again next year.. They preserved the nature at its best.. The villa is awesome .. you have your own geothermal pool as well as normal pool.. we don’t want to leave the room at all! The staff giving their best .. everyone will greet you with a smile.. Excellent, wonderful and unique resort layout. The best place to stay for those who are seeking for ultimate privacy with a serene view. It's no kids below 12 years old is the great bonus. Kudos to Hazwan (reception staff), the one that entertained me during checked in process at night.. Helpful, friendly and so welcoming. Not forgetten Deen (restaurant staff) who always smile and that one Chinese young staff (forget his name) who constantly did his job serving Juices during breakfast, so hardworking! We travelled in a group of 8, I booked 4 villas for 4 couples for a night. From the time of arrival to checked out, all were well taken care off. Even though we were all seniors but we had so much fun from dipping in hotsprings, fish spa, swimming in outdoor pool and also have good time enjoying the pool and jacuzzi at Garden Villa. The highlight was dinner in Jeff’s Cellar and to many of my friends were their first experience for fine dinning. All in all was good and highly recommended to anyone looking for a retreat surrounded by nature. I will certainly go back again.

I was glad to be able to cool off in private pool as the hot spring pool was not too comfortable for hot days, but in the evening, when it was cooler, I was happy to be able to use the private hot spa dipping pool at my villa. The grounds were beautifully kept and the landscape of rocky hillsides were amazing, but with an abundance of ponds, lilies and mature trees, it is always best to carry insect repellent with you at all times. However, there was always plenty of that available throughout the complex. The restaurant, Jeff’s cellar located inside a 260 million year old limestone cave was cosy and warm, and food was artistically presented as well as delicious. If check in could be earlier then I would not feel so rushed to fill my day with all the facilities I would have had liked to spend more time on or try out, such as the spa as well as the meditation room and sauna. The jungle walk was adventurous and good value when attached to a free tour at the theme park.
