Absolute best resort in the area”
I was aware that the Phu Hai ward was the last spot in Phan Thiet that was more isolated from the heavily touristy areas, so I chose The Cliff Resort and Residences for its location. The villa looked good from the pictures so it made sense. It exceeded all of our expectations and even the locals commented on how The Cliff was one of the best in the area. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff was friendly and active. They were on top of every little thing and made the stay feel luxurious despite the price being a fraction of what you would get anywhere else. Lastly, Tung and Thanh who worked at the poolside bar were great. Not only did they have fun with our non-menu requests (we wanted rum in our freshly opened coconuts, so they recommended a ratio of water-to-rum), but they were also helpful. One of our group has a deathly allergy to seafood and eggs. Thanh called in to make sure no fish sauce or any similar ingredient was used for his food.

This is one of our favorite hotels in Vietnam. The room we had was spacious and the beach was clean. The restaurant was even better since it has an amazing view of the ocean. They also serve really delicious food which we always looked forward to. They had the best staff who were really friendly and made us feel special during our entire stay.

Great and friendly staff, room is clean and big. Have welcome drink and fruit in room. The hotel also offer free bicycle for guest, my family did enjoy our vacation. Improved points are a bit poor breakfast, and the swimming pool with very strong javen smell, however the service staff is so good.

Terra room is my best choice. Room is very nice with all stuff you need, welcome fruit everyday, and chocolate for nights. Just 1-2 mins, you can walk to the beach. Staff are very nice and friendly, breakfast taste good with Vietnamese food. I will stay here again when i come back to Phan Thiet.

i and my wife had a wonder vacation at Cliff resort, we were impressed by hospitality of the staff and the cleanliness of the resort. We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant and the food were quite acceptable, however breakfast was kinda less choices, we were expected to have more vegetables in breakfast instead of meats. Maybe this is just our point of view, the pool should be improved by designing the wading pool , for now the pool is supported shallow for shorten people (my wife's height just right to 1m5 while the height of pool is exact 1m5). Also, there were no towels at swimming pool and at the beach, so we need to carry our towels and asking to renew every time we swim, this is kinda annoyed. Rather than that, i will definitely come back to Cliff in nearly future!!!

The resort locates in a quiet area with fantastic private beach and amazing amenities. Staffs are friendly and helpful when having needs of trip arrangement or calling for taxis. Room is great as well as the sea view from the room balcony. One of the best choices for taking rest after an early tour for the sunrise in the sand dunes.

This is the 2nd time that I stay at The Cliff. The Staffs are still quite friendly and nice. But the breakfast is still lacked variety. (like the previous time that I visited) But overall, I'll still consider The Cliff to be a strong option (on beside Anantara) for the next holiday to Phan Thiet, and I hope the breakfast can be improved next time

Great view of the hotel ”
The hotel has enough activities to keep us occupied. The spa service was wonderful. The view at the hotel was fantastic. Would stay again. The only downside is the taxi to downtown for seafood is expensive. But that’s how the local drivers make some living. They go by meter though.

My wife and me stayed here for 1 night. They offered us complimentary honeymoon setup. Room was amazing and so was the property. We had pool view room and could see sea as well. Only con could be limited vegetarian options but still manageable.

We stay at Terra Ocean view suites. Pros: - The room is nice and cozy - Jacuzzi is cool - Staffs are friendly - Nice breakfast - Good location Cons: - Not soundproof. You can easily hear the next room if they're noisy. The first night, guests in the next room was partying all night and we can hear them 100%. We had to call and complaint with the reception but they were still noisy until midnight. - the jacuzzi outside is a plus but also you can see people on the lower level or upper level. Also here the people noise next room. - Overall, the room is not quite 100% private.

The room is cozy and the view is nice as we staying in a 2 bedded room with jacucci. The one I like the most is that the hotel is not so crowded and feel relaxing to stay in the hotel.

Unexpected value for money”
As I was travelling through many countries, visiting my customers, I needed to kill a few days in Vietnam before my next customer visit in Australia. I found The Cliff via Agoda with an interesting offer, not exactly knowing what to expect. I booked the Duplex room (way to big for me) with a fantastic view on the sea. The room was very clean and the refrigerator was filled up with drinks for a decent price. The hotel, located just before you enter the village of Mui Ne is perfectly located, away from the rest of the four star hotels in Mui Ne. So, going out for diner was not a problem. Everything is close by. I was extremely pleased by Ekaterina, the hostess of the hotel, who managed to bring me in contact with Funky Surf for a surf lesson, she continuously checked if all was fine during my stay and she professionally arranged my private transfer back to Saigon. Actually ALL of the staff is very kind and they welcome you with a big smile and good/professional support.

Being the idiot that I am, I thought my new bike was broken already cause it didn't start. (Someone had pressed the kill switch button in the parking at a bar and I hadn't noticed...) The Cliff staff, and especially Phu Hai, went above and beyond to help me get the issue sorted. They arranged transport for the bike, found a mechanic willing to look at it (it's a Kawasaki, larger than the scooters most mechanic are used to). Phu even drove me around after his working hours and refused any tips (and I tried repeatedly). So thanks a lot! And so yeah, this new bike rider will never forget an engine kill switch exists... lmao
