BEST JUNGLE RETREAT!!!”
I was blown away with the hospitality given by Raju whole assisted me throughout my stay at the Tapir House. The place is where you get to connect with the nature . Of course get ready for insect bites and mosquitoes , however the property provides you all the necessaries to avoid such bugs. They have two separate pools and I have to say , The Dusun made me feel like home. All the staffs were great. I also left my belongings there at the Tapir House hence Raju and Asmaq has assisted me by posting it out . I would like to thank The Dusun to have such amazing staff and keeping us safe throughout the stay . I’ll return back for the “Emas “ house . See you guys soon!

The best quality sleep”
I can’t remember when was the last time I had a good quality sleep. The place is perfect for a getaway and total relaxation. However, The Dusun needs to improve in their customer service. We had quite a horrifying moment when all of the sudden, the power tripped and it was almost dark. Tried calling the manager in charge several times and there was no one else around that we could seek help from. We had no choice but to ask the owner to help us. It was already dark and I had to find a way to fix the switch box in which I finally did after few attempts. Anyway, eventho our breakfast was delivered late, they were delicious! We’ll probably come back and I did recommend to a few if my friends who asked about the llace when they saw my IG stories.

Nice getaway”
Nice and quiet getaway from town. Each room is equipped with kitchen and utensils so no issue to cook in. Some rooms are also pet friendly so do check to ensure you get the right one. Only drawback are the insects and mosquitoes but hey it’s all part of the experience and furthermore it’s in the forest. Nasi lemak, albeit on the high side but it was delicious!

Great nature experience but…”
The nature is amazing and calm but the accommodations in overall need so much TLC. Most facility and furnishings inside the accommodation that I’ve stayed need to be replaced such as the knob at the shower, the cushion on the settee looks dirty like it was never been washed, dirty looking towels that has black dots on it. The wood panel for the walls makes the the room dark and old. My suggestion is to retouch it with a nice coat of paint of white or any suitable soothing colours. The dish rack also dirty, looks like never been scrub for quite some time. Overall the interior really need an uplift to elevate guests stay-in experience.

Really close to nature with the open concept living and bathroom for Tapir House but need to bear with many bugs or insects during night time. Relaxing stay with great swimming pool and nice surrounding to hike or explore. Highly recommended for nature lover or those who like to escape from the hectic city life ！

Think twice before you choose”
I have very high expectations on the dusun and purposely book it for my birthday trip. In their website and google search, they appeared on top as pets friendly hotel. When I called to double check, they told me “sorry we don’t accept pets!” Secondly, the “malay lady boss” mentioned I could deal with agoda for the cancellation as they allow. They told agoda no cancellation allow and when I went to check in, they told me my reservation was cancelled and the room was taken by someone else. This is the most horrible birthday stay experience I have and they never think this is their mistake and try to push this to agoda!
